He roared as he became increasingly bigger the force he generates also started to become stronger.

Knowing that he could not escape the old man without any drastic measures he knew that he need to use his trump card.

Boom! With the influx of his aura an explosion the occured as the whole area started trembling.

With newfound strength Shadowslash quickly used this opportunity to escape.

Up in the sky the nine dragon clones was now being held in the sky with nine tansparent hands one for each dragon.

Roar! The nine dragon clones became bloated before exploding the old man harrumphed as a barrier appeared around him.

He then took off towards the direction where Shadowslash was running away.

Shadowslash was digging in a specific direction he started to dig lower and lower as Hentai was navigating him to aby safe spot they could find.

He knew he had used all of his trump card in escaping as he realised he encountered a powerful intelligent being so using his spiritual sense wouldn't work.

He cursed the old man and his ancestor as he continue in his escape he also used the Immemorial Golden Barrier to mask his presence so that his chances of escaping amplified.

Back above the ground the old man stops his pursuit as he started frowning he realised he could no longer feel Shadowslash's aura.

He then harrumphs as he stomps hard causing the ground and the area to cave in under his might.

He then returns back to monitoring the evolution of the flood dragon he knew that he and Shadowslash have alarmed it with all the commotion they caused.

'I rather obtain that being than this savage beast' Thought the old man.

Hentai informed Shadowslash that the old man was no longer pursuing him but this doesn't mean that he would stop on the contrary he increased his speed but this time he was going back to their camp.

When the night finally came the people back in the camp started to feel worried as Shadowslash did not return to them in this whole time.

Suddenly steps could be heard as Shadowslash returned albeit with an extremely pale complexion.

Shadowslash on the other hand saw the worried look in the expression of his subordinates he smiled as he waves his hands telling them not to worry.

He then brought a large amount of meat and fruits and told them to cook him a feast as he sat down back to his carriage closing his eyes as he could finally relax.

After a while he was woken by Hilda as food was already ready so he and the rest of his group started eating as early in the morning they quickly set off.

Shadowslash on the other hand started discussing with Hentai as he decided to learn an escaping technique he knew a couple movement skills but this is no use against those that are as strong as the old man he encountered yesterday.

He also felt incredibly pressured he finally realised that there are individuals as strong as the Behemoth he encountered when he was exiting the Thousand Forest Continent.

After traveling for a couple of days they finally arrived at the territory of Westward City of course they still haven't truly arrived at the city.

Shadowslash actually used his clones to carry them during at night he wanted to escape the forest as he saw that the sky was still as dark as ever he knew that the flood dragon was still undergoing it's evolution.

Back in the present Shadowslash and the rest of his group arrived at a village.

The villagers were quite familiar with Shadowslash as many of them have worked under him to deliver the wine back to his territory their pay is quite generous so they were quite grateful to him.

The other cities or territories aren't as developed as the territory that Shadowslash have been developing as there are still famine and the city is not as clean as Shadowslash's city.

The territory of other city lords are also full of bandits and not safe.

Beasts would continue to attack and assault the territories of the other city lords there are even a couple of instances where the cities themselves are the ones that are under an attack.

Shadowslash on the other hand either befriend the beast overlords in the other city lords territory as he was also considered as a beast so most of the beasts would feel trust towards him since they obtain their very own intelligence after leveling up to Xiantian Realm.

Xiantian beasts considered themselves an another being compared to beasts so they have their own community no longer have desire to start war against each other unless they would be tempted.

In the village Shadowslash and the rest of his group was brought to the most luxurious location in the whole village a giant house made up of wood the house is much more beautiful compared to all the houses in the village.

This was a house build specifically for him he wasn't flattered anymore as he knew that he had improved the lives of the people in this village.

Not to mention he had taken care of the bandits near this location so the village started to live a much more fulfilling and safe lives.

Their whole group decided to stay in the village to rest most of the villagers were extremely enthusiastic towards them and many parents had their beautiful or handsome children to interact with them.

Shadowslash was in his room the entire three days he was meditating while also sending his clones back to his territory he could let them stay on this world as long as he wanted as long as he have enough Mana to operate them.

Because he called his clones to come to his rescue there are no clones left in his city or territory and some of his clones were posing as important individuals in his city so their presence is extremely vital to the city and the people.

He knew the speed of his clones so he is confident they would be able to return back to his city just after a couple of days but this would mean he would continuously lose Mana throughout their journey.

But this is a small price to pay to keep his city safe not to mention he would be able to continuously improved his control over his Mana.

With Hentai absorbing the Mana in the surrounding he wasn't worried that he might empty his Mana and his core would absorb Mana in the surrounding albeit in an extremely slower speed compared to when he wasn't using his Mana.

He knew that this would be quite straining to him since he had used the Immemorial Golden Barrier without any medium.

He couldn't help but stretch his muscle as three days passed by after continuously meditating for three days he finally recovered from his mental fatigue caused by the Immemorial Golden Barrier.

After getting out he saw that Hilda and the two elephant beastman brothers were training he cough as to announce his presence.

Ziggy dislikes populated area so he would stay in a lake far from the village back in Shadowslash's territory he has a private pond that only exclusive for Shadowslash and him.

Seldomly the carriage driver would also go there to massage or him or just to entertain him.

Most of the time though he would be out hunting some beasts in the forest since he likes to hone his killing moves.

Shadowslash and the rest of his group then left as they were now close to their destination only a couple of days of journey needed to arrive.

With Ziggy strength and speed it wasn't surprising for Shadowslash or anyone to arrive at a destination hundreds of kilometers apart.

And with his presence he could get away from all the troublesome encounter with wild beasts but he was still cautious after all he just encountered an enemy powerful enough to crush him with just one finger.

If he wasn't underestimated he wouldn't be able to escape even if he give it his all he wouldn't be able to defeat the old man.

And judging from what he felt the old man could transform into a dragon since he felt like someone from the dragon beast clan.
