If this was at normal times then Rafael wouldn't be affected by Saske's dark energy.

But Rafael was now squeezing everything from him just to defeat Saske he was now on the verge of collapsing only with his will to win was he able to continue fighting.

For Saske he looks like he suffered far more that Rafael since Rafael's holy like energy were able to penetrate his dark armor but even though he suffered numerous cuts it was only external injury.

Compared to Rafael's agonizing internal bleeding it was nothing.

So Saske is quite confident he would be able to defeat Rafael.

Rafael also knew this that is why he was using all of his power just to take down Saske but he could only inflict minor injuries.

He then retreats away from him as he started to condense his energy to his sword since he was nearing his defeat he wanted to go out with a boom.

Saske suddenly shivers as he his instinct told him that Rafael was planning something dangerous.

He then noticed that the desire to win in Rafael's eyes have vanished and was replaced with murderous intent.

He then knew that this was probably the last attack Rafael would make.

Without hesitation he also started to drawing out his dark energy to his sword but just as he was about to finish his last attack Rafael moves.

He cursed as he swung his sword his towards the incoming Rafael the sword was now pitch black in color as a wave of darkness covers it.

Swish with the two passing through each other the audience became silent and waited.

After a second passed Saske started floating as the result shocked the audience Saske actually lost.

Rafael smiled before spitting out blood and a sword mark appeared on his chest as his eyes whitens and he blacks out.

He was then lifted out of the stage together with Saske even though he manage to cut Saske he also suffered and lost.

The result was a draw but some of the audience thought that Rafael won as Saske was the first to be knocked out.

And that is the ending of the fight between the Peerless Sword Warriors and the Heavenly Sword Sect.

The winner was the same as what most of the people thought the number one Adventure Group of the Archinviel Dukedom the Heavenly Sword Sect.

With that the battle of the day ended everyone went back home their mind was still on guessing who is gonna be the overall champion as the Genius Group was already crossed out on their mind as the group was too strong and is Shadowslash's group.

Shadowslash was actually frowning he was in the mansion thinking that the competition is too long when he wanted to return back to his kingdom immediately.

He then thought that he should slowly pair up those that have more loses than wins to the Genius Group or the other strong team to hasten the pace.

He then thought of something and smiled as he went to Reias's room.

The next day the audience went into the stage but when they arrived there they were shocked to see there were numerous clones of Shadowslash standing in the stage.

Reias smiled but inside she was actually a bit embarrassed about Shadowslash wilfulness.

But she knew that he and the other groups were actually quite anxious to return so she steel herself and announced.

"My lord Shadowslash noticed that the remaining group were considered the strongest group in the city"

"So it was quite a pity if they wouldn't be able to come with him in his return back to his kingdom so he proposed another method"

She then pointed at the clones and explains "So he has a new challenge those that manage to defeat his clones would be able to pass and they would be able to come with him in his return back to his kingdom or obtain the ability to contract a monster even if you aren't a Tamer"

The audience were stunned but they couldn't help but make a bitter smile after all Shadowslash's words are the rule in this arena but after hearing the rewards the audience knew that it still haven't changed.

Reias then asks "So which team thinks that they could defeat Shadowslash's clone don't worry the clones only have a portion of my lord strength and would only fight using their physical capabilities without using any skills or Active Abilities"

The groups heard this and they felt a bit hopeful but there is one person that shivers in fear she was the female knight rider from the Dragon Fighters.

She still remembers that Shadowslash have lend his strength to her increasing her strength tremendously to the point she manage to defeat a Crimson Gold Rank individual.

Thinking about this she raised her hands Reias was confused she then asks "Does your group wanted to try?"

The female knight rider quickly shook her head nonsense she doesn't want her group to be the first one to test how strong the clones really are.

Reias saw this so she asks "So that means you wanted to ask a question?"

The female knight rider nods her head she then saw Reias nodding at her so she quickly asks "How many clones does every group have to face?"

"One"

"You only need to face one of my clone if you won then you could request your wish to me if you manage to last for more than hour then you would still win but only one of your group is able to request a wish to me"

Shadowslash voice was then heard by everyone the audience couldn't help but be shocked after all this is quite favorable for the groups that were competing in the tournament.

The groups started to feel fidgety after all this is their chance suddenly a voice was heard it was Dave's voice besides him was his best friend the assassin of their group.

"Our group would be going first since we are the weakest group remaining in the competition even if lord Shadowslash did not change the rule we would have been disqualified otherwise"

After saying this he and his group strode towards the stage, are they nervous? Of course they are but they knew that they are the weakest in all the groups remaining in the competition.

Since it's like this they wanted to try their luck and duke it out against one of Shadowslash clone.

The other clones started retreating leaving one clone to face the entire The Hunters group.

When the audience saw this they started anticipating the result of the match since they already knew the strength of the group a change of situation stimulates them once again.

The only thing that sadden them though is that their bet would be turn into nothing since the situation tool a drastic turn.

The members of The Hunters quickly went into their unique formation as Dave and the warriors surrounds the clone.

Hermosa was also looking at it with a nervous look after all she was fighting a clone of her idol.

Not only her the others were also feeling the same thing which further cause their momentum to decrease.

Reias then bangs the gong as the battle starts Dave and his two warrior companion quickly charged towards the clone.

The clone looks at the three people charging towards it and spreads out his palm as sharp claws gleams at it.

Swish! With incredible speed he passed through its three opponents.

With it's first attack it immediately took down two of the warriors of The Hunters Dave managed to save himself albeit slightly.

He couldn't help but look at the clone with trepidation in them.

The clone looks at the two archers, Hermosa and the assassin but did not attack them and actually chose Dave as it's target.

The four people was surprised then anger burns in their eyes they were actually ignored.

Without further ado they immediately started attacking the clone Hermosa fired a quick thunder spell, the assassin closed in from behind while the two archers started shooting.

The clone ignored all of this and attacks Dave with a swipe of his claw the air seems to have been cut into pieces.

Dave used his huge sword to block the attack but after receiving the attack he flew backwards smashing into the arena's wall.

The attack of the others reached the clone but all of them were dispersed by it's tail as the assassin was smacked away.

The clone then charged towards Dave once again.

Dave was about to get up when it saw that the clone was already in front of it.

For the first time this is was the first time in his life that he felt so helpless.

Dave was then eliminated as Shadowslash lifted him out of the stage.

Switching it's target the clone then targets the assassin which was promptly eliminated with ease.
