When the two group entered the stage the whole crowd immediately started shouting the name Peerless Sword Warriors causing the members of The Silent Night to be angry.

But they knew their power is too far apart but at least they wanted to lose in a glorious manner while also helping their employer to gauge the strength of the Peerless Sword Warriors.

The Silent Night consist of two assassins, two swordsmen, two archers and a mage.

All of them were good at attacking in ambush or assassination to be precise.

With Reias signal the battle starts four of the member of the Peerless Sword Warriors charged towards The Silent Night.

The three fighters that fought in the first match did not move as they calmly watched four of their members charged towards the enemy.

Seeing the three strongest members of their enemy not moving the members of The Silent Night became angry so they decided to show them they are no pushover.

The two assassins of their group silently started blending in as their traces disappears while the other members became more dazzling.

This was their combo as the two assassins were considered their trump cards.

The two swordsmen unsheathes their swords and charged towards the four members of the Peerless Sword Warriors.

Their speed were considered quite fast and definitely beyond average.

With their charged the two archers started shooting as they arrows carried an air of unpredictability in them.

The mage on the other hand started chanting but his aura was only rising indicating that the spell would take a long time to be unleashed.

When the four members of the Peerless Sword Warriors saw their opponent were actually swordsmen they couldn't help but feel ridiculous.

Not minding that their numbers just the fact that their swordsmanship dwarfs most of the swordsman in the city to think their enemy tried to stall them with just these two.

Just as they felt contempt they saw the two swordsmen stops just as they were about to reach each other.

The two swordsmen of The Silent Night stops and took out something on their pockets.

The thing they took out was a whistle they then blew it and a jarring sound could be heard.

The necklace on their neck started shining brightly as the sound started to get louder.

This was also one of their secret move the whistle could cause confusion to their enemies.

The reason why their group wouldn't be affected by the sound of the whistle because of the necklaces they wore.

The whistle was carved out from a unique monster bone and their necklace also came from the very same monster.

Shadowslash isolated everyone from the sound everyone except for the two group fighting of course.

Looking at the battle he couldn't help but shake his head he immediately knew that what The Silent Night have done is futile.

In the stage when the sound hit the members of the Peerless Sword Warriors their body immediately burst out of sword qi erasing the confusing effect of the sound.

This stunned the two swordsmen of The Silent Night even though they are considered one of the high ranking swordsman in the city their level were clearly too far apart from those who stand at the top.

The most vital thing is that they still haven't mastered sword qi yet and with just these they aren't qualified to stand besides the top swordman in the city.

Seeing the disbelief written on the two swordmen faces the members of the Peerless Sword Warriors snorted as one of them took a step forward and propels himself towards the two.

Swish! With great speed he unsheathes his sword and slashed it towards his opponent but his attack halted halfway as he waved if above stopping the arrows flying towards him.

The arrows were incrediblely silent if it weren't for his sense of danger he would have been shot.

Suddenly the two swordsmen attacked seeing their opponent in front of them was startled.

Their attacks leaves no sound as if they weren't attacking at all this causes a finger of interest on the eyes of the members of the Peerless Sword Warriors.

They now realised why their opponent was called The Silent Night it's because their attacks were suited for assassination it was silent.

The member of the Peerless Sword Warriors that was being attacked felt a rush within him even though he is outnumbered he wasn't afraid.

He then slashed his sword again and again blocking the arrows while also sending attacks towards the two swordsmen.

The two swordsmen from The Silent Night felt pressured to a great degree their attacks were a bit off as their combat technique was actually being suppressed.

Those that knew what is happening felt that the fate of the two swordsmen is sealed as this was considered the suppression of realm.

If a swordsman is fighting another swordsman but his opponent have sword qi and he hasn't then the result would be extremely clear he has no chance of winning at all as his sword art would be suppressed while his sword would feel very foreign to him as if he couldn't control it.

The two members of The Silent Night was exactly in this situation as they felt their swords weren't listening to what they desire.

Their swords felt heavy but they still gritted their teeth and attack but they acted in a defensive manner as they would only attack seldomly not immediately clashing with their opponent.

The arrows being shot by their members have made the fight a bit even to them but the number of arrows would definitely ran out of this keeps on going thankfully the archers knew combat techniques that could create an arrow image out in the air but this would take a lot of their concentration to do so.

With the fight going on if the two archers slacked for even a second then the two swordmen would definitely lose.

Suddenly from the Peerless Sword Warriors side the leader of the group spoke "Hurry up we need to finish this fight as early as possible!"

Hearing this the three idle swordsmen that were watching the fight snapped out of it and the three of them charged.

As long as they finish this fight the fastest way possible then the faster the progress of the festival is.

Seeing the other three swordmen charged the two swordsmen from The Silent Night felt despair just as they were about to do a suicidal attack the mage in their group who was chanting since earlier raised his wand and shouted "Darkness Devours The World!"

Suddenly darkness started expanding as it covered the whole stage causing much dissatisfaction from the audience since they couldn't see anything.

Shadowslash waves his hand and suddenly the fighters in the arena lit up with blue lights but this could only be seen outside of the stage as Shadowslash used his spiritual sense to show what is happening in the stage.

He didn't need it since he has night vision but for most of the audience it is extremely helpful even though they couldn't really see much at least they knew a bit what was happening in the stage.

With the darkness the two assassins who was trying to fade out started moving towards the four swordsmen of the Peerless Sword Warriors.

The two swordsmen from their party started walking backwards they were like Shadowslash who could see in the darkness.

The archers from their group started shooting with much more energy they also had the ability to see in the darkness.

With Shadowslash sharp eyes he immediately realised what was giving them this ability it is the rings in their hand.

Shadowslash wanted to see what would the reaction of the members of the Peerless Sword Warriors.

The four swordmen of the Peerless Sword Warriors stops and shut their eyes and after a couple of seconds they started moving as they blocked the arrows that were flying towards them they then started charging towards the two swordsmen from The Silent Night.

The two swordsmen from The Silent Night was shocked by this they then started retreating much faster they were waving their swords around as they kept attacking while retreating.

But it's like the swordsmen from the Peerless Sword Warriors could see in the darkness that they could point out where they are.

Of course they knew it wasn't this as all four of their opponent have their eyes shut clearly only moving through their senses.

The two swordsmen started racking their brains as to how did the four manage to point out where they are.

Suddenly they noticed that their swords would vibrate every time the two of them clashed with either one of the four.

They quickly threw their swords away as they started retreating with haste they then took out a pair of daggers in their pockets.

Shadowslash who was watching from above shook his head thinking that the two swordsmen would have a hard time achieving sword Qi after this.
