The fifth plant which is also the last plant is called the Scarlet Blood Tree.

It is a little tree which has the height of a toddler but it has a frightening ability to absorb a large amount of blood.

The name Scarlet Blood Tree was given to it by Shadowslash as to modify it they had Scarlet to water it with a drop of blood daily.

The amount of blood is extremely small because the plant would not be able to absorb all the energy from Scarlet's blood.

The Scarlet Blood Tree originated from a tree called Vampire Tree it was an extremely maleficent that everybody dislike.

But after Hentai's modifications and with his help they turned the worthless Vampire Tree to a priceless plant.

The Scarlet Blood Tree would produce a drop of blood liquid which contain a large amount of energy and 10 drops of liquified fierce qi every week.

Since it grew because of Scarlet Shadowslash gave it to her with her daily meal consisting of a large amount of Gold Rank monster carcasses and now the new plants in the Howling Ridge she could accumulate her energy and finally breakthrough to Transcendent Realm.

Back in the present Shadowslash was finishing up work well his work is mostly designing as the fortress could already be used.

But only Fierce Beast could live in this place and controlling a Fierce Beast is near impossible.

He only got lucky with Scarlet she managed to develop wisdom because of her constant stress for other Fierce Beast it would take a lot more to reign control towards them.

Thankfully Shadowslash already have a plan for that and that involves Scarlet.

Fierce Beast might be wild bunch which have no regards towards the law but their is a small chance that they would submit towards a stronger Fierce Beast.

With Scarlet's strength she could definitely be considered as one of the strongest being in the continent.

As long as Shadowslash could capture some of the higher Grade monster in the Howling Ridge and put them in the fortress then they would have a high chance of evolving into Fierce Beasts.

Actually he already had ordered the 10 high-class undeads to start hunting monster of higher qualities.

With their strength and teamwork as long as they don't come across with a Crimson Gold Rank monster they are Invincible.

Actually Shadowslash was quite fond on one of the 10 high-class undeads to be precise he is quite fond of their leader.

Not only he is quite smart but he was actually acting like a mature guard captain and since he hold Sans in the highest degree like a king he hold him as a prince.

His order would be promptly be followed and his work is much more easier as John the name he had given to the leader of the 9 high-class undeads would give him excellent result.

Now that he just waiting for them to return since he would need to rear the monsters first he was building a pen that could hold an attack from numerous Gold Rank monsters.

Since he intends to rear them he had Scarlet as their caretaker those that don't listen to her order would be her meal.

Only monsters that lives on the Howling Ridge could withstand and survive in the fortress full of fierce qi.

Even though it would take years for any one of them to evolve into Fierce Beast at least they had a chance.

And opening the demonic dragon door would increase the density and purity of fierce qi in the ridge increasing their chances in evolution.

Shadowslash wanted to know what kind of world will he see if he opens the demonic dragon door but since his conquest in this continent is still not finish yet he decided to start building his foundation of powerful subordinates before attempting to travel into other continents or world.

He also need to look after his kingdom he left it with the others back on Thousand Race Kingdom but after traveling these past years he learned numerous things and he wanted to improve his kingdom quality.

'Since there are only a couple of days left before Banjo finally leave his realm it seems that I need to hasten the completion of my fortress' With this thought Shadowslash increased his pace since he was only dojng designs he decided to just whatever as long as he could finish the fortress.

The next day Shadowslash who was working in an incredible pace stops as he looks towards the entrance.

There he saw John and his subordinates together with a couple of monsters with beaten figures.

Shadowslash laugh as he finally could put the pen in use and with these monsters Scarlet would have something to do during his leave.

He then calls Scarlet as he had John and the other undeads bring the beaten Gold Rank monsters to the pen.

In the pen numerous Fierce Beast Grass was planted in there.

There are also numerous Bloody Fierce Berry planted in the side for consumption.

In the center of the large pen that looks like an open field stood a giant tree it was the Beast Fruit Tree.

There are also a pond inside since it was a pen monsters could not escape and besides with Scarlet guarding the place they wouldn't even accomplish such a task.

Releasing the monsters in the pen Shadowslash told John to feed them everyday and separate the offspring from monster that isn't from their kind.

He then left some other instructions before approaching Scarlet.

Scarlet looks at him with fondness and reliance with Shadowslash working everyday he also plays with her.

Their game was hunting his clones since the clones were extremely powerful even though they only have half of his strength it spurred Scarlet's fighting and hunting spirit.

This is also considered as training for her and with the daily consumption of large amount of monster carcasses she was recovering her peak her movement became much more fluid.

The clones still pose a challenge to her though as unlike Shadowslash they were using their skills when they fight not only that they were practically emotionless and would go all out to the point they would kill Scarlet during their game.

Of course with Shadowslash in the side it wouldn't happen but for Scarlet she was having the time of her life as she felt the adrenaline rush going in her body as she felt death breathing in her neck.

Also since they are only clones she could do whatever she wants either she rips them apart or swallow them whole.

Of course with the 10 clones working together she still haven't won a single game it would be always a tragedy with her being beaten up.

Sometimes just for the fun of it Shadowslash would help the clones by making her slip and fall and the other times she would momentarily doze off.

This would take the full time of always building but Shadowslash also use this to maintain his training in his soul force or commonly known as spiritual sense.

Since he would be leaving that meant that Scarlet would be left behind looking at Scarlet who was looking at him like her own father he couldn't help but sigh.

He then rubs her head feeling his gentle touch Scarlet started purring as her tongue was stuck out in the open.

Seeing this a bitter pain could be felt in his heart but after taking a couple of deep breaths he braced himself and said "Scarlet I might be leaving for a long time"

This sentence stunned Scarlet as she looks at Shadowslash pleadingly as she started to rub her head more in his arm.

Seeing this Shadowslash quickly comforted her saying "Don't worry I will still be returning I am only leaving because I need to find the materials needed to set you free"

Scarlet stops rubbing her head and looks at him intently.

Shadowslash made a smile albeit a guilty one of course he intends to search for an another Fierce Beast to set Scarlet free but improving his kingdom comes first so it would take some time before he could accomplish his promise.

Scarlet then droops her head low seeing this Shadowslash started rubbing her head once again hugging her and repeatedly promising her that he will be finding the material for her freedom.

Since he would be leaving he decided to leave the designing to his clones and the 10 high-class undeads and spend the rest of his time accompanying Scarlet.

Three days have passed Shadowslash mostly spends his time playing with Scarlet.

In this particular day where he and Scarlet were playing a game of tag he felt a vibration coming from the location where Banjo's personal realm is situated in.

Shadowslash quickly got up and calls for Scarlet seeing this and feeling the strange mood coming from him the happy Scarlet immediately realised what's going on and her expression morphed into sadness.
