Terriz wanted to fight Al as he heard Al was almost the same as he was what's more he was considered one of the frontliners during the war against the orcs.

Haze as burning with iron will and he wanted to prove he is the strongest warrior in the youngest group.

But he felt intimidated by Al so he wanted to conquer his fear and was the one who initiated the battle.

Star wanted to help her brother while Reias as the guild leader of the Archinviel branch she wanted to prove her worth while also thinking of helping her group.

In the end Terriz was clearly dominated Lilia was trapped by Herish with the help of Mira and the remaining members were being stalled by Iria and Erz.

When Shadowslash heard this he nods as he knew that even though Haze and his group trains as hard maybe even harder than the other members that came with him they lacked in experience.

Meeting different individuals even leading a battalion had cause their mind to become more steady as they were even mature than most adult.

Their leadership capability and decision making skills have improved tremendously.

While he was deep in thought Lisa spoke in a somewhat timid manner "Boss there are still the competition between the pets and the other's would have already noticed that I'm gone so"

Shadowslash knew what she was asking and nodded he was also interested in watching the battle and just like earlier he silently disappears.

Lisa was stunned seeing Shadowslash disappears in front of him what caused her to feel incredulous was when he disappears there isn't a strange feeling coming out from her as she saw everything like it was natural.

Shadowslash was surprised he didn't think that Slicer also decided to join the competition since his master did not join the earlier battle.

Everyone was suddenly boiled in excitement the strongest monster companion in Dragon Kingdom versus the strongest monster companion in Archinviel Dukedom.

When the two monster went into the arena they immediately felt the other side power and both of them quickly went ready as once Lisa rang the bell they would quickly attack.

Teeth was in an advantage as he was 9 levels higher than Slicer but he couldn't shake off the feeling that he was actually the prey in the stage.

Roar! He lets out a defiant roar as his eyes became blood red because of the stress.

The audience on the other thought that Teeth released a roar before the fight begins to show how confident he is and started cheering.

Haze looks in the arena with worry he and Teeth was quite close so he knew that Teeth was actually feeling pressured and only increasing his bravery by doing this.

He then looks at Slicer with trepidation as this was the first time he saw Teeth was actually scared of someone other than Shadowslash and this battle was just one on one so judging from his personality of not being afraid of fighting ond hundred enemies he should have confidence.

Dong! With the sound of the gong Teeth quickly charged towards Slicer but his target disappears.

With a swish Slicer appeared on top of Teeth and sliced his head causing sparks to fly.

Feeling the attack Teeth wanted to retaliate but Slicer once again disappears and kept attacking everywhere he was so fast that Teeth just kept roaring in frustration.

Thankfully he is of Water Element and his defence isn't to be look down but if this situation don't change soon his mighty scales would start to chip off.

What's more Slicer is using his skill and the only thing stopping Teeth from being cooked alive was his reserve water energy.

Suddenly Teeth saw Slicer in front of him attacking his head he quickly used his ability [Instantaneous Movement] as he opens his mouth and used [Great Chomp].

But just as he thought he could finally land a hit on Slicer he only managed to bite Slicer's afterimage.

Slicer seems to also realized that even though he could hit Teeth as many times as he could it would take a long time to finally manage to deal damage to him.

Blazing Mode! Activate

Suddenly Slicer's sharp and transparent blades became glowing red as he decided to go all out and using his speed numerous afterimages surrounds Teeth and he was enveloped with red light.

Stars started to shine around Teeth this was creation of Slicer's extremely fast attacks.

What's more since Slicer wasn't holding back anymore each attacks caused searing pain to Teeth.

Smokes started coming out of Teeth as the water energy in his body started evaporating this caused Haze to pale in fright the only thankful thing is that since both of them were ultimately in the same group Slicer did not target Teeth's eyes out of pity.

A minute later Shena quickly stops Slicer as everyone looks at Teeth in admiration and Slicer with fear.

Teeth did not give up till the end he kept trying to attack but all of his attacks missed and because of his stubborn personality he did not give up even though Slicer was already shouting at him to give up.

He was now unconscious and was bathing in his own blood Herish quickly approached him and started healing him but it would take weaks to regrow his scales back.

Haze was besides him crying he was extremely anxious but knowing how powerful Herish is he knew she could definitely save him.

Haze did not blame Slicer nor was angry at him but actually felt grateful since he did not look down on Teeth until the end and only stops when the battle was finally over.

Teeth himself chose this kind of ending so the only person he could blame his himself.

Lisa then announced the winner "Winner Slicer earning the title as the number one monster companion"

Everybody agreed to her decision as both monsters were the strongest in their respective branch so it was natural for Slicer to be crowned as king.

Lisa continues in her announcement as she turn into someone like a commentator.

"Next match a battle between two monster companion that is fighting for the honor of both their human companion"

"The smartest monster companion in the Dragon Kingdom branch and also Al's companion AQUA!!!"

"She has a reputation that she was as strong as Slicer or maybe even stronger now let's see if that is true"

"On the other hand her opponent was a monster companion that was out for revenge his human companion was completely beaten up by Aqua's human companion"

"Presenting Terriz's monster companion CHINBU!!!"

Both monsters then walks in their respective places as they look at each other and sparks seemingly fly in the air.

Shena then raised her Batton and slams it into the gong.

Dong! The second battle finally start and everyone looks at the arena with focus.
