His potential isn't as great as the four so he trains as hard as Haze and that is clearly speaking just how strenuous the training is since Haze is a training maniac just like his monster companion.

He was mostly responsible for defence both him and Terriz were the tanks of the group but his attack is also great as most of them causes stun.

He wore a golden armour and with a heavy axe and huge golden shield.

He may not be a match with the strongest adventurer in the city but he is one of the top 10 in the list.

Now in the present both him and Haze were getting ready to take the number one spot in the adventure ranking after Shadowslash have help them increased their strength during the couple of months of his stay in the mansion.

Actually all 5 of them in their group were targeting the number one position of the ranking.

All of them were training their strongest attack and each one of them knew each other's specialty or secret move.

Like the fact that he and Terriz knew how to fuse with their companion monster.

Yes, Big Bear unexpectedly managed to fuse with Browny and unlike Terriz it was a pure lucky coincidence in their side.

The criminal that Big Bear met was one of the veteran survivals in the Sanctuary and after being hunted countless of times it honed his senses and increased his combat prowess by a drastic degree.

Not to mention he had a companion monster that is one of the deadliest Silver Rank monster the Sniper Mamba.

When the two fought Big Bear actually lost and when he was about to be killed something awakened from Browny and awakened his inner beast.

Browny saw Big Bear as his parent so he of course very overprotective of him seeing him being beaten and was about to be killed of course enraged him.

Big Bear then watched as Browny fought with the criminal and he was shocked that he managed to fight the enemy in a drwa and was gradually gaining the upper hand.

But his joy was short lived as the Sniper Mamba managed to infect Browny with it's lethal poison.

Big Bear was scared to death as he saw Browny as his kid he also went berserk as both of them risk their lives for each other they have fused increasing their combat prowess.

With their power combined and Big Bear's control they became a monster that has the intelligence and technique of a human.

The criminal was killed together with his companion monster but both of them fainted.

When they opened their eyes they were in the mansion in the clinic room.

Thankfully they were saved by the Steel Ape Clan it seems that the criminal fought him because he knew that his life was already in the edge of the cliff as the elite members of the Steel Ape Clan actually have already secured the surrounding giving no escape route for the criminal.

Knowing that he was dying he tried to take Big Bear with him.

Without the Steel Ape Clan Browny would have died because of the Sniper Mamba's poison.

Speaking of Browny he was now as big as an adult bear and because of their mission and the catalyst that causes him and Big Bear to fuse he is now an Excellent Grade monster.

What's more he is also a high level Silver Rank monster with an intelligence that is much higher than those that were the same specie as him.

This was the benefit that came from fusion the human would obtain a bit of the monster's strength while the monster would obtain a bit of it's partner's intelligence.

Because all of his skill uses his energy Browny was now training in increasing the speed of his recovery since he could only increase the amount he has if he could eat a heavenly treasure or level up.

His Mana isn't as great as the others though since most of the Mana that he absorb is converted to physical improvement most monsters were actually like this so even if they have lesser Mana in their core their body is rich in Mana.

That is one of the difference between human and monster one side couldn't absorb Mana unless he or she meditates while the other side absorbs Mana innately to their body improving their physique.

While the 5 improved drastically Reias and Kitty did not but he did not blame them but actually blame himself because of this.

There is a one time where a drunk adventurer who is also a noble that courted her and after numerous rejection from her the said noble cursed at her and with this his adventurer status was revoked.

The said noble was very furious of this and since he is one of the favored son of his family he seeked help from his father and when his father confronted Reias he left without accomplishing anything.
