After reading J Darwin's status, Shadowslash deduced that he is an Excellent Grade monster before his ability developed further.

He choose to stay by his side to guard him until he woke up.

An hour later J Darwin finally opened his eyes. The first thing he did was devour the Steel Horned Dark Goat as it seems he needs to replenish the spent energy.

After eating the Steel Horned Dark Goat, he then looks at Shadowslash and didn't know why he wanted to follow his orders.

Shadowslash just smiled and brought J Darwin to continue searching for rare plants.

The whole search did not go smoothly since J Darwin kept hunting other monsters. Nevertheless, the good thing is Shadowslash has finally finished his quota.

He then brought J Darwin and returned to the cave because it was already late.

When J Darwin saw many different monsters its body, at first, tensed up and he was about to show hostility as a warning. However, Sadowslash already anticipated it and used the contract making him whimper immediately and suddenly looks at him with fear and wariness.

After that, Shadowslash introduced J Darwin to his family even though France, JM, Karl Clwyd, Don Don and Sans were still on their training and didn't know when they were going to return.

As much as possible, he wanted J Darwin and his family to get along early.

The next day, Shadowslash and the others went on their training again.

Then, a very surprising thing happened when they were eating breakfast (Dragon Meat as per usual is consumed). J Darwin ate at least twice as much as France. In addition, after eating that amount of dragon meat he immediately goes near the Luminous Tree of Life and began howling.

His body was growing bigger and it seems to release some kind of pressure.

3 hours later, J Darwin finished his evolution. Currently, his size is twice as big as his previous one and his horns seem much sharper. Moreover, he gained two dragon wings on his back.

He was stunned to see how great J-Darwin become with this strength he was near invincible in the inner part of the forest

Everyone started to celebrate but they don't know how powerful J-Darwin became

After celebrating everyone went to training so did Shadowslash

Shadowslash then used his [Shadow Clones] and as before fought with his clones

He was much better than the last time but he was still getting beat up every moves he knows was also transmitted to his clones

He was getting more frustrated and with his rage he used his two tails to whip his two clones while smacking the third

He was very happy with the new skill and started to go at it again with his clones he used his tail to whip them up but he did not activate the skill

After training for 3 hours Shadowslash was once again exhausted he crawled towards the dragon carcass and started to chomp down to recover his energy

After resting for a couple of minutes Shadowslash goes searching for rare plants once again J-Darwin saw this and started following him

Seeing that J-Darwin following Shadowslash let out an helpless sigh and suddenly had a great idea

"J-Darwin can you hunt monsters of different types and bring them to the cave" Shadowslash was ordering him that because he wants to strengthen the plants in the cave with different fertilizer it would create a dense Mana and different kinds of energy even though with a great amount of dead monster carcass will produced a lot of death energy with Sans he won't be afraid

J-Darwin happily nodded and scurry away for him it doesn't matter what the order is as long as it came from his master he will follow it

Shadowslash then entered the core zone again to look for rare plants

He was very careful when searching even though he was a lot better than average Silver Rank monsters but the core zone is mainly made up of Gold Rank monsters

While he was searching for plants he heard a screech his ears tense up and he dash towards the sound but he was still cautious and travels in the shadows

When he finally got there he saw a huge bird chasing a large snake he then scans the two

He then saw that the Swift Pernicious Cobra was being beaten by the Scarlet Blazing Peacock and couldn't even retaliate

It suddenly spray a purple mist enveloping the Scarlet Blazing Peacock

The Scarlet Blazing Peacock then waved its wings producing a strong gale blowing the poison mist away

When the mist cleared away a tail came out striking the Scarlet Blazing Peacock and blowing it away

Shadowslash was bewildered even though there is a level difference between the two of them but with the great difference between their grades the Scarlet Blazing Peacock should have already won

He then saw that the three behind the Flaming Pernicious Cobra has a nest with eggs over it

He immediately realized that the Flaming Pernicious Cobra was making the eggs as hostages

He let out a cunning smile and started sneaking towards the tree where the nest is

With his [Shadows Blend] and the fight between both of them none of them discovered him

He became much more careful when he got to the tree he started jumping branches to branches until he finally arrives at the nest

He then looks at the nest and found one scarlet egg as big as him

He then sneakily wraps his tails and was about to take the egg with him when suddenly he heard a pained screech and saw that the Flaming Pernicious Cobra have bitten the Scarlet Blazing Peacock neck and was strangling it

The Flaming Pernicious Cobra wraps its body around the Scarlet Blazing Peacock body was tightening its hold from the phoenix

The Scarlet Blazing Peacock sudden looks towards its nest and found Shadowslash wrapping his tail from one of the eggs

It then sent a pleading looks to him which stirred his heart even though it did not speak but it showed what its intention is 'Please take care of my child'

Then a huge flame came out from its body burning everything down

The attack killed Flaming Pernicious Cobra even though it was a Fire Type monster now Shadowslash understand why it did not use any fire type skills earlier it was afraid of harming its child

The Scarlet Blazing Peacock was still alive but the last attack used a lot of its Mana and its energy was depleted from fighting the Flaming Pernicious Cobra lastly it was poisoned so it did not have much time left
