After a week, Shadowslash and the girls were now ready to Rank up to Silver Rank. Additionally, the others have also improved their status, except for France. This is due to the fact that he could not be scanned.

Shadowslash, Lucy, Dorothy and Foxxy are on Bronze Rank Level 10.

Don Don, Flare and Clwyd are on Bronze Rank Level 6, 7 and 9, respectively.

Flora Sans and JM are both on Silver Rank Level 2.

Karl was now Silver Rank Level 8.

Leafinia have now leveled up to Level 4.

Mary was on Silver Rank Level 3.

The numbers of plants in their cave have also increased. As of the moment, it was truly like a paradise. The only down side of it is Banjo who is still on an evolution process.

Today Shadowslash brought his sisters to Rank up and possibly evolve. He made sure he had France come with them to have him bring back the prey they hunted. They all wanted to evolve on the cave thereafter.

He also had France scouts if there any monsters nearby so they can prepare.

France have spotted many different kind of monsters. Too bad those are not suitable for their evolution so he decided to search deeper in the forest.

After searching for a couple of minutes near the core part if the forest, they have finally found a prey they needed.

Red Eyed Vampire Hare

(Silver Lvl 9) (Rare) (Yin)

He was about to provoke the hare in an open confrontation but when it immefiately saw him, it initiated the attack.

Shadowslash was more than happy in fighting it in close combat. Seeing that he was much bigger than the hare, he felt a little strange. In all his life as a monster attacking bigger ones, this is the first time he fought a monster smaller than him.

He thought he would fight it in a long fight seeing how fast and nimble the hare is, but who would have thought that it would pounce on him directly making it unable to dodge his [Double Dark Slash], killing it in one go.

He gave it to Lucy for her to eat the hare before continuing their hunt.

A couple of minutes later, France let out a warning screech. He then dove towards a monster.

Shadowslash carefully told his sisters to wait for him and his signal. He dash towards where France is to know the situation.

When he arrived there, he finally saw what kind of monster France warned them about.

It looks like a salamander but with a dragon like wings. He also cannot see the monster's attributes meaning that it is probably in a Gold Rank. Now, he finally understood why France was so frantic.

He then returned to his sisters and brought them to watch how strong Gold Ranks' monsters are.

When they arrived in there, they saw that France was still fighting the winged salamander.

The winged salamander did not fly but hid in the trees to make France fight it near the ground. It seems to understood that it couldn't match France in an air battle.

France produced a barrage of [Wind Blades] and started shooting them towards the winged salamander.

The winged salamander saw the incoming wind blade and opens its mouth consequently releasing a stream of fire.

When the two attacks met it produced an explosion. In turn, this has cause a strong gale of wind that Shadowslash and the girls, who are spectating, felt such strong impact.

France distanced himself in order to avoid any direct confrontations with the winged salamander. He also kept releasing thunderbolts hitting the salamander in the process.

Seeing France was too far in reaching the salamander, it has decided to flee instead.

France, on the other hand, wouldn't just let a prey escape so he closely chased after it.

Shadowslash was watching their fight until he couldn't see them anymore. The salamander was extremely fast in escaping.

He realized that it seems Ranking up into Gold Rank will increase a monster's intelligence.

Knowing that it will probably take a long time before the salamander will be killed, he continued their Rank hunt.

An hour passed and they still have not found one Silver Rank Yin Type or Fire Type monster. Heck, they didn't even see a Silver Rank monster?!

Realising this, Shadowslash deduced that they are too deep into the forest so he and his sisters decided to go back.

They were walking toward the other side when suddenly tens of baboon-like monsters surrounded and are looking at them viciously.

Vicious Red Eye Baboon

(Silver Lvl 1-10) (Good to Rare) (Yin)

Shadowslash expression became grim. He was not scared of any Silver Rank monsters but he was with his sisters at the moment. In addition, the numbers of baboons are just increasing.

"Run! All of you!!!"

He immediately ordered his sisters to flee and started to ready himself in facing off these hundred baboons. He also had called for Sans, Clwyd and France to rescue them just in case. His sisters are reluctant to leave him but seeing his angry expression, they gritted their teeth and left hurriedly.

The baboons kept shouting over and over again. Furthermore, their vicious eyes only radiated one intent while looking at them: 'Food!'

Suddenly a loud roar that came out from the forest. This time, a huge baboon with thrice as big as normal baboons emerged. It had a pitch black fur and three red eyes. Moreover, Shadowslash could not see its stats at all.

The huge baboon let out a loud scream which seems to be a signal since all of the smaller baboons started charging at him.

Shadowslash then activated his ability [Shadow Clones]. He stand his ground knowing that if he leave his post, his sisters will be caught by the baboons according to their speed and he doesn't want that to happen at all!

He followed up his attack with [Rapid Fire Flame Bullets]. Countless [Flame Bullets] flew towards the charging baboons.

The attack killed some of the weaker baboons but only hurt the stronger ones. Nevertheless, this attack, in turn, made all the baboons mad as they started to increase their speed and madly charged in his direction. Shadowslash, even though he was still using [Rapid Fire Flame Bullets], prepared for another skill.

The baboons finally reached him. He then stop using [Rapid Fire Flame Bullets] and activated [Clairvoyance]. He also switch in using [Double Dark Slash] to kill the baboons.

In just a couple of minutes, he did not remember nor he is aware that he already killed at least 20 Vicious Red Eye Baboons. His clones have also been torn to shreds and reduced to puff of smokes.

The death of their own and the smell of blood made the Vicious Red Eye Baboons even more craze and frenzy. Some of them even started to feast on their dead members.

Shadowslash was now in perilous situation. He was currently bleeding. In just a couple of minutes he had suffer numerous attacks although he already activated [Clairvoyance]. The number of baboons were just too many for him alone.

All of a sudden, a screech was heard. It was followed by France who begun killing the baboons that are near Shadowslash.

The Vicious Red Eye Baboon King saw that another powerful monster have entered the fight. It lets out a roar and pounced towards France.

Seeing the Vicious Red Eye Baboon King charging at him, France easily dodged and whip out some wind blades as a counterattack.

The wind blades hit the Vicious Red Eye Baboon King but did not manage to hurt it severely.

The Vicious Red Eye Baboon King then opens its mouth and released some kind of energy blast towards France.

France retaliated and also attacked it using his thunderbolts. When the two attack met, this has caused a huge explosion in the area.

The Vicious Red Eye Baboon King kept trying to hit France while the latter kept his distance while firing thunderbolts

Meanwhile, in Shadowslash situation, after France killed the Vicious Red Eye Baboons surrounding him he immediately escape into the shadows.

The Vicious Red Eye Baboons were watching the fight between France and their king. They also started throwing rocks at France while they made some kind of chant which result in strengthening their king.

Seeing all of this, Shadowslash brow furrowed. It this keeps going on France will be defeated for sure. Therefore, he decided to come out of the shadows and used [Rapid Fire Flame Bullets]. He is targeting the Vicious Red Eye Baboons that were chanting in order to disrupt them so that France can focus more on the battle with their king.

The Vicious Red Eye Baboons that were chanting was hit unprepared. They thought that Shadowslash has already run away but never expected that he was stupid enough to come back.

*Boom*

In the group of Vicious Red Eye Baboons at least 12 of them died from the ambush.

Shadowslash kept firing at them, not stopping the least making the chanting ceremony of the Vicious Red Eye Baboons to halt. What they were doing was supposed to make their king invincible but due to the disruption, they madly stopped and charged at him again.

Shadowslash looks at the Vicious Red Eye Baboons that were coming to him and already knows deep inside that he could not escape these beasts. Moreover, they were charging in all the direction.

He knows that if they overwhelmed him, he will definitely face his doom so he leapt towards the trees while firing his [Flame Bullets] to a closer range Vicious Red Eye Baboons.

He kept leaping from branches to branches. However, the Vicious Red Eye Baboons were great at chasing him in trees so he had no choice but to fight them on the ground. Just after a couple of minutes, the Vicious Red Eye Baboons have surrounded him again.

When the Vicious Red Eye Baboons was about to maul him, many [Fireballs] flew and exploded this horde of monsters.

Shadowslash was at first startled but feeling the familiar auras he was ecstatic. His support finally came!

He saw not only Sans but all the members of his family, well, except for Leafinia.
