The confrontation between Shadowslash and the Poison Fanged Anaconda are still ongoing and it has already been half an hour following Shadowslash activation of his [Clairvoyance].

The Poison Fanged Anaconda's attacks have not hit him once, but his attacks were also repelled by it which doesn't sit well with him. Furthermore, with the extremely tough scales of the Poison Fanged Anaconda, even if his attacks hit the it, the most it could do is only leave white marks on the monster's body.

Shadowslash was very exhausted after having been continuously dodging the never-ending assaults. He is also using his skills that depletes his energy more. While the Poison Fanged Anaconda might not have hit him once, it has still a lot of energy it seems. The situation was really disadvantageous to him but he kept attacking tenaciously.

JM and Flora were watching their fight in awe. The two didn't join knowing they are just deadweight to Shadowslash and that they were also told by him to stay put.

10 minutes later, they heard a screech and saw France swooping down looking at the battle below.

The Poison Fanged Anaconda felt fear towards France. The roc species are the natural predator of dragons and snakes. Furthermore, France is a Gold Rank monster so its fear has even intensified.

Suddenly Shadowslash bellowed:

"France hide your aura, this fight is between me and him."

Hearing his order, France followed it and hid his aura immediately, settle on the branch, and looked at the fight with keen interest.

The Poison Fanged Anaconda then observes France and upon realising that it did not attack it, it also seems to be following Shadowslash's orders, it became confused. How and why can such a powerful Gold Rank monster follows the order of a Bronze Rank?

"Now lets continue our fight."

The Poison Fanged Anaconda was still figuring out what France and Shadowslash relationship is. Also, it heard the latter shout at the former but was not able to hear what the fox specifically said. Then, seeing the battle intent which Shadowslash is releasing, it immediately know what it wants to have.

The Poison Fanged Anaconda let out a loud hiss and charge towards Shadowslash using its thick tail as a whip as its main attack.

Shadowslash was also using [Double Dark Slash] as his only retaliation. It seems that the both of them understood each other where they are willing to finish the fight in close combat.

*Ping*

Collision between claws and scales were heard but after a few minutes Shadowslash finally slumps down, he could not longer continue the battle anymore.

The Poison Fanged Anaconda was looking battered, too. Its body was full of claw marks wherein some of it actually have already destroyed its scales. It looks at Shadowslash and did not do anything knowing that France was watching.

France then flew and grabs the Energy Fruit causing the Foolish Gluttonous Ape to let out a couple of shrieks. Nevertheless, knowing that it would definitely be beaten up by France and couldn't escape, its head hang low looking depressed.

France then throws the fruit to the Poison Fanged Anaconda and nodded at it.

The Poison Fanged Anaconda looks at the fruit and France repeatedly. Seeing that it was the prize in winning the fight, it did not shy away and directly swallowed the Energy Fruit. After eating it all, it directly fell asleep.

France acknowledge JM. onsequently, knowing what France meant, JM dig up the Energy Tree and brought Shadowslash to his back. After everything is settled, they settled on the back of France and flew towards the cave.

Night came and Shadowslash woke up looking at the surrounding confused. After a while, he realised he was underneath the Luminous Tree of Life, it seems he has exhausted himself.

Then he found out that he leveled up to Bronze Rank Level 10. This time, he only needed to accumulate energy to finally achieved Silver Rank.

He decided to go where the others are and saw that all of them are sleeping soundly.

He looks at the starry night sky, it was the first time that he really lost in a one on one fight. Currently, he was just feeling a little bit off and started to walk around when he saw the Energy Tree in their cave.

He was dumbfounded to see that the Foolish Gluttonous Ape was still there.

Well, another family member won't hurt so he let it go and decided to accept this silly monkey to be part of his family. He eventually named it Don Don. Also, he wants to remember the fight between him and the Poison Fanged Anaconda hence keeping Don Don was a reminder of it.

The next day, Shadowslash was no longer feeling gloomy and is already prepared to hunt the remaining components for JM and Flora to rank up and possibly evolve.

When he was about to bring Flora and JM to hunt, they heard a crisp sound coming from the dragon's body. Suddenly an arm came out first then finally all of the body followed.

Shadowslash was overjoyed. He felt a strong connection from this monster. He deduce it was Sans, but it was quite different since it was covered by red scales. Additionally, there was some kind of flames dancing on its eye socket. From a mere skeleton to this form, what a spectacular change.

The SYSTEM began giving data to him.

Sans suddenly kneeled in front of Shadowslash and spoke in a deep voice "Master, your servant greet you humbly."

Shadowslash was startled. He never thought that Sans can now speak so he conclude that it was because of the Yin Soul Fire.

With Sans here, their hunting would be easier. Now, the long awaited dream of his would be fulfilled which he will make the surrounding area his territory. Too bad that this area was now becoming too low level for them. He needs a new habitat for them, especially that they are ranking up steadily.

With Sans in the team now, he decided to pair the hunting partners.

"Sans bring the girls with you and hunt a Yin Type monster that must be at least Silver Rank."

Sans nodded and brought the 4 girls to hunt. Don Don was confused yet interested and became extemely curios of what is happening. It looks at Shadowslash seeming to ask what is happening but the answer it got was just a smile.

"Mother and Karl will be pairing up and hunt a Fire Type monster due to their sensitivity to fire elements." The two then nodded.

"France, as usual, just hunt some preys for Clwyd. Also while you're at it, you can hunt some Gold Rank monsters for yourself." France did not have any expression because it is exactly what it has been doing every single day.

"JM and you too, Don Don! You two will be pairing up with me today." After his instructions, they all started to hunt and do their own things.

After exploring the forest for just an hour, they found some great plants. Even though they are not {Orange Quality}, he still decided to bring them back to the cave nad plant them there.

How did they became proficient in finding rare plants, you aso? It is because of Don Don. It seems that it has an ability to detect plants using its sense of smell.

They also found some huge trees that they could not carry so they decided to mark them for France to handle. He burned some of its leaves as the mark and to easily spot them. JM, on the other hand, had already uprooted them.

After searching for another hour, they finally found a suitable prey.

Steel Armoured Centipede

(Silver Lvl 7) (Good) (Steel and Poison Type)

Shadowslash immediately used [Rapid Fire Flame Bullets] at the Steel Armoured Centipede.

Countless [Flame Bullets] rain down on the Steel Armoured Centipede but when it landed into its body, it was like hitting a metal which produces clanking sounds.

The Steel Armoured Centipede furiously looks at Shadowslash. Shadow saw it was moving in great speed, the distance between it and Shadowslash was getting closer.

Seeing how fast and tough the Steel Armoured Centipede is, Shadowslash proceed to use his [Shadow Clones] and flee in a different direction.

The Steel Armoured Centipede got confused for a moment upon seeing three Shadowslash.

It then spits some kind of acidic saliva at the three Shadowslash's but was easily dodged. However, it caused some melting on the things it hit.

Shadowslash then kept his distance while firing [Flame Bullets]. He kept his attack to be an annoying enemy for the the Steel Armoured Centipede. Even though the attack caused no damage, it was still good for making it angry by being attacked continuously.
