After experiencing the setback, the Fire Breathing Savage Wolf became much more cautious.

Seeing the attack left the Fire Breathing Savage Wolf limping, Shadowslash did not waste any precious chance. He prepared and together with his clone, they dash toward the Fire Breathing Savage Wolf again.

Watching the fight, both Flare and Mary decided to help. They also attacked but only used their range skill.

Seeing that there are more enemies around, the Fire Breathing Savage Wolf panicked. Eventually, knowing that it could not escape, it lets out a hysterical howl and fired a stream of fire towards Shadowslash.

Seeing the incoming attack, Shadowslash expression changed. The wolf's fire breath was too wide for him to dodge so he hurriedly curl himself into a ball with his red tail shielding him.

Shadowslash was engulfed in flames. The wolf lets out a gleeful smile while Flare and Mary were frightened to see that Shadowslash was engulfed in flames, especially with Mary his mother.

After the attack cleared up, they saw that Shadowslash was still alive. Unfortunately, some of his fur was burned.

Meanwhile, Shadowslash heaved a sigh of relief. If he wasn't a Fire Type, he could have been turned into ash now.

He then dash towards the Fire Breathing Savage Wolf but this time, he was more careful.

The Fire Breathing Savage Wolf used the same attack in targeting Shadowslash. This time, it made the intensity of the attack much greater than the first one intending to have its victory.

Shadowslash nimbly dodge it and fires back with [Double Dark Slash]. Even though the range attack of it was weaker than the close combat one, it is still quite handy in fighting an enemy that is beyond his reach.

The Fire Breathing Savage Wolf kept attacking him attack but as always, Shadow was able to dodge them. However, some of the attacks nearly hit him if he was not quick and careful enough.

The distance between the two became shorter. The Fire Breathing Savage Wolf was getting more flustered and started to panick.

When Shadowslash has finally reached it, he saw the Fire Breathing Savage Wolf raise its paw. This time, it envelops itself in flames and it looks like it was as large as it normally is.

His expression changed and hurriedly rolled away.

*Bam*

The Fire Breathing Savage Wolf struck him, breaking the ground in the process, creating a burning crater.

Looking at the damage of the Fire Breathing Savage Wolf attack, Shadowslash heaved a sigh of relief. Thankfully he honed his senses after continuously using [Clairvoyance] during these past few days.

He could use [Clairvoyance] to fight the wolf but he would not be able to use it for the whole day. In addition, he needs to find another prey for the two girls with a Yin Type monster.

He then kept using [Double Dark Slash] in range to slowly tire the Fire Breathing Savage Wolf and make it bleed to death. He was also being helped by Flare and his mother so they only needed time.

An hour later, the Fire Breathing Savage Wolf was full of bruises and breathing hagardly. With the relentless assault of Shadowslash and the girls, it is now near its end.

The Fire Breathing Savage Wolf suddenly let out a loud howl. Additionally, its body started glowing and the energy from its body kept getting more volatile, it was like a volcano about to erupt anytime.

This attack may be its strongest arsenal but it seems that there was a reason where it was not using it from the start of their fight. Nonetheless, for Shadowslash it is a chance to be in an advantegeous position. He then used all he got and charged towards the defenceless Fire Breathing Savage Wolf. He also used all his strength to launch his [Double Dark Slash] on its neck.

*Swish*

The Fire Breathing Savage Wolf head was spinning and slumps on the ground, then its body also fell down to the ground.

Shadowslash seeing the fight is finished also lay down on the ground and started to breath rapidly. He was extremely exhausted but at least glad that the fight is finished. Suddenly he heard the SYSTEM:

'SYSTEM, so if my mother eat this whole thing she might evolve?'

(Yes but it is not a good thing for now. SYSTEM suggests the Host to share the meal and find some other components for evolution.)

Shadowslash nodded and called both his mother and Flare. They shared the Fire Breathing Savage Wolf remains and rested for half an hour before continuing their hunt.

They kept searching until noon until they finally found a prey and this is not an ordinary monster.

It is called the: Yin Clawed Black Gorilla (Silver Lvl 9)(Excellent) (Yin, Dark and Strength Type)

This is the first time he was going to face a monster that has 3 Attributes and an Excellent one at that.

He then looks at his mother and Flare and solemnly spoke to them.

"I want the two of you to support me greatly later because even I am not confident enough in fighting this monster."

He also cautiously sneaks closer to the gorilla and used his [Shadow Clone] to attack it while he waited for a perfect chance in a full range attack.

The Yin Clawed Black Gorilla was just playing by itself when it felt something incoming. It saw that it was a little 2 tailed fox hence it let out a sadistic and sarcastic smile before pounding the small fox.

*Boom*

Shadowslash expression was not that good. Such attack was very powerful as it pulverised his clone immediately. He became even more careful and immediately used [Clairvoyance] in order to level up his [Fireball] into Lvl 5.

He then shoots a [Fireball] right into the Yin Clawed Black Gorilla's face. He then leapt back to gain some distance and continued shooting his [Fireball].

The Yin Clawed Black Gorilla was extremely vexed with what happened. It then started charging at Shadowslash at the same time attacking him.

Shadowslash continuously dodged the Yin Clawed Black Gorilla's simple onslaught. Although it wasn an uncomplicated attack, it was no joke at all as each assualt bores through the ground.

*Boom*

While the Yin Clawed Black Gorilla was busy attacking Shadowslash, his two [Fireball]: big and small, hit its back. Although it seems that it did not hurt the monster a bit,it was still an annoying circumstance. It then looks at Mary and opens its mouth. When it was about to release a blast when suddenly Shadowslash saw it. He was busy dodging the Yin Clawed Black Gorilla relentless assaults when he had a glimpsed that his mother and Flare started to help him.

Nevertheless, he also saw that the Yin Clawed Black Gorilla stopped attacking him and targeted his mother instead. His expression suddenly changed and hurriedly pounced on the Yin Clawed Black Gorilla. Additionally, he used [Double Dark Slash] to attack its eyes.

*Roar*

The attack sliced the Yin Clawed Black Gorilla' two eyes. It then started to swing its arm crazily trying to hit Shadowslash.

Shadowslash saw the incoming attack and have a grave expression. He was in mid air currently and can not dodge it.

He knows that in every hunt he had, so far he never lets his opponent hit him and tried to avoid them to get the upper hand. But this time, it seems that he could not escape this one.

*Bam*

The gorilla hits Shadowslash, blowing him away into a tree.

*Boom*

Shadowslash had hit the tree which has greatly shaken the area and the place where he landed was now broken. He kept spitting blood, his mother and sister became worried and scared for him.

'F*ck!!! I think I broke nearly all my bones!' He was cursing in his mind. He could not even stand up anymore. He then saw Flare and his mother dashing toward him and when they finally reached him and saw his condition, their faces were in deeply frightened and concerned. Flare stayed rooted in a spot looking prominently shocked. The idol she worshiped was actually hurt.

"Bohoo, its all my fault!"

Mary started crying and continued to blame herself. She knows that when the Yin Clawed Black Gorilla faced her and tried to release its onslaught, her son used himself as a shield which risked his life in order to rescue her.

Shadowslash saw that the two girls were wallowing in self-blame so he mustered all his remaining strength to speak to them.

"Finish it." He also sent an urgent message to France to help them before he loss his consciousness.

When Shadowslash woke up it was already night time. He was sleeping underneath the Luminous Tree of life and saw that everyone was looking at him nervously. When they spot that he finally opened his eyes, they heaved a sigh of relief and had a gleeful smiles. It can be seen that all of them were eminently anxious. After all Shadowslash is the very person they depended on.

"Son, I am glad that you are still alive." His mother then throws herself into him with face full of tears.

"Brother!!!" His three sisters and Flare also throw themselves into him, crying with happiness.

"France what happened to the Yin Clawed Black Gorilla, is it dead?"

He also saw that his mother had evolved while Flare leveled up so he deduced that they ate the Yin Clawed Black Gorilla already.

"Yes boss, it is there."

France nodded and pointed at the burning Yin Clawed Black Gorilla corpse.

Seeing that the Yin Clawed Black Gorilla was still whole and had not been eaten he felt confused and strange. He kept scanning his mother but the result stayed the same.

He can only think of one reason, that his mother probably became berserk after seeing him hurt and nearly died. With the meat of Fire Breathing Savage Wolf, she managed to evolved.

"Okay, tomorrow we will stay and watch as mother and Flare Rank up. But tonight lets rest, it was a really tiring day." He gently smiled at them.

The rest nodded and slump into the ground. All of them were very busy today, nonetheless all of them also managed to level up which used up every ounce of their energy. Furthermore, with the event of him being injured, it used up all their mental energy in worrying for him so they did not even bother to have dinner. They immediately sleep.
