Underneath the rhino, the ground turned into a quicksand causing its heavy body to sink exceedingly quickly. Afterwards it felt that the quicksand was full of Mana and knows that it is a skill or an ability. It lets out a snort dispersing the quicksand.

Seeing the quicksand disappear Shadowslash expression changed and immediately fired a [Fireball] towards the rhino and slips into the bushes. He would need a new plan.

The rhino took the attack head on and did not even feel the pain. Its body was like a tank so it was not scared of attacks at all.

Shadowslash was now talking with JM in the bushes hiding from the rhino. The [Fireball] earlier was a diversion to regroup with JM and change their plan.

"JM what happened? Why did your quicksand disappear just like that?" Shadowslash asks looking confused.

"Boss that rhino must have the ability of [Earth Manipulation]. It is one of the weaknesses of my [Quicksand] skill." JM explained with a gloomy expression.

Hearing the explanation, Shadowslash nodded. The possiblity is pretty high that the Earthen Steel Rhino have the an [Earth Manipulation] ability so it is not JM's fault.

"Lets risk it. I will use [Clairvoyance]. JM back me up. Even though it is a tough opponent, with me tanking it we will have a 70% chance of winning." He lifted JM's spirit and wanted to make the most of such opportunity presented to them.

JM nodded seriously. He knows that it is Shadowslash who is taking the most dangerous part in this fight so he will give his best.

Shadowslash then dash towards the rhino again. But this time he used [Clairvoyance] to increase their chance of winning. When he activated it, he was able to predict what the rhino's next move would be.

He suddenly jumps mid air and fired a [Fireball], blasting the rhino's face. Underneath him were spikes made of rock.

The rhino was bewildered and surprised that Shadowslash have had predicted its next move.

Shadowslash was just starting, far from being finished with his attacks. He continuously shoots [Fireball] and every hit was a bullseye. The [Clairvoyance] not only gave him the ability to predict the opponents next move, it also raises his accuracy to a whole new level.

[Fireball] to [Fireball]! It continuously hits the rhino's face. Additionally, what angers it more is that JM would sneak attack it using its signature move [Roll].

*Roar*

The rhino could not take it anymore and started to charge blindly hitting many trees in the process.

Shadowslash eyes lit up seeing that the rhino lost its patience. He immediately pounce towards the rhino and used [Dark Slash] to blind its remaining eye.

He then nimbly used his tails again and gain from a distance.

The rhino let out a hysterical roar. It is now blind and could not see anything anymore which his animal instinct says it is in grave danger. To make the matter worse is that Shadowslash kept using [Dark Slash] and hitting its face accurately. Currently, it is bleeding in the face and looks miserable.

*Bam*

JM hits the rhino's left side of the face and continuously use [Roll]which is ramming the rhino's face.

Shadowslash [Dark Slash] was, at first, leaves only white marks. But upon continuously hitting the same area over and over again, it becomes bloody red.

Within an hour, the rhino was battered down. It was bleeding profusely and now felt completely spent, especially since Shadowslash made a cut on its neck. It lets out one last roar and finally slumps to the ground, dead.

Shadowslash and JM also slump thereafter. They were panting greatly, trying to calm down from exhausting battle, especially Shadowslash. He couldn't even open his eyes and was still not used in [Clairvoyance]. Therefore, he needs to at least rest his eyes for an hour before opening them.

"JM, eat the Earthen Steel Rhino carcass now and remember you need to eat everything, including its horn. This is ghe requirement to evolve so go now as I need to rest." Shadow gave his detailed instruction to JM before breathing slowly in and out.

"Thanks Boss!" JM was beyond grateful. He then exhaustedly approached the Earthen Steel Rhino's corpes and started eating it.

3 hours later, JM finally finished evolving. Shadow has been able to rest as well. He scans JM's new data:

He nodded and was extremely satisfied with his improvement. He was also glad because he also leveled up after the fight. Both of them benefitted from it.

They then returned and saw that the girls are not there.

Nevertheless, there are explosions coming from the back so he knew that their mock battle was still ongoing.

When night came, the girls all returned tiredly after their training. The good thing is, all of them leveled up. In addition, Shadowslash was also planning in finding a suitable prey for Flare to Rank up as she is already on Level 8. With the daily meal of dragon's meat, leveling up to Level 10 will just take them for a couple of days.

After having dinner, they all sleep peacefully. It is the greatest method to assimilate the energy from the dragon meat after going through a battle.

The next morning, everyone woke up early and got ready to start their daily training when suddenly something happened. France also woke up and finished his evolution. He lets out a high pitched screech and flew towards the dragon's remains and started to consume it.

France was getting bigger and bigger, and finally after half an hour its size became at least the size of 2 bulls combined. Before, his size was just the size of a big wolf, but with the current changes his strength definitely increased drasticall as well. His purple feathers became even more vibrant and the tips are now in a color of golden yellow, it is even crackling like with some sort of electricity.

After finishing his evolution, France looks very energetic. Nonetheless, the first thing he did is to bow his head to Shadowslash as a form of gratitude and respect. If he did not rescue him when he was gravely injured, he wouldn't be the monster he is now.

"You're welcome." Shadow smiled that France. "Okay. I understand that you are edgy as of the moment since you are all full of energy, I want you to start hunting 3 Water Type or Ice Type monsters everyday. All of them must be Silver Rank at least understand?"

France nodded and patted his chest as a form of brag like saying: "Leave it to me. I can definitely accomplish the mission!"

France then got out the cave and flew. Shadowslash lets out a smile, the daily quota of Water Type monster is for Clwyd. He wants to greatly strengthen it so that it can guard the cave entrance more efficiently which is a win-win situation for all of them.

After watering the Luminous Tree of Life with dragon blood, he brought JM, Flare and Foxxy to explore the forest. This is the idea that he has for now, he will be implementing that starting today, he will be bringing 2 different foxes each exploration.

They began to set off searching for suitable prey to hunt and plants to transplant into the cave.

A couple of hours have gone by. In the past hours they did not find any suitable prey but they what they found was a {Orange Quality} plant: The Bloody Fruit Tree. Even though its name sounds scary, it is actually a great tree in which its fruit has an amazing effect of cleaning the blood. Also, if a monster is suffering from any disease that are blood related, the fruit is one of the most basic yet effective ingredient to take in order to get cured.

When they were about to go back to the cave, after waiting for France to return with them so that he can carry the tree, Shadowslash suddenly stops and was rooted in place. He found a perfectly suitable monster to hunt. He is grinning from ear to ear.

Flaming Nimbus Lion (Silver Lvl 5) (Very Rare) (Strength and Fire Type)

Shadowslash look and nodded at JM. It is their signal of using [Quicksand] to trap a prey.

He then dash towards the lion and shoot a [Fireball] towards the monster.

*Boom*

The attack exploded at the back of the lion.

*Roar*

Receiving the attack, the Flaming Nimbus Lion let out an enraged roar. Alhough the attack did not cause it much pain, it was still furious that there was somethone who dared to attack it. Moreover, it got even angrier seeing that its attacker was a small Bronze Rank fox.

It was about to retaliate when it suddenly felt that it started to sink.

It was startled at first but then felt Mana from the [Quicksand] and deduce that it is a skill. It lets out a loud roar causing Shadowslash and the others to cover there ears.

While Shadowslash head was still buzzing, the lion already started attacking him with its own [Fireball]. The only difference is that it is much hotter and bigger than with Shadowslash's one. It seems that its [Fireball] is on {Red Quality}.

*Boom*

The attack was timely blocked by JM using his body. Despite the fact that he was blown away, he was already prepared and shielded Shadowslash in its curl up form, making the force of the attack lessen greatly.

"All of you, rain down hell!!!" Shadowslash instructed them then started to attack the lion using [Fireball]. What's surprised him though is that Foxxy used another skill other than a [Fireball]: a skill that looks like [Yin Blade]. Meanwhile, JM was using his newly acquired skill [Mud Bullets], too.

The Flaming Nimbus Lion struggled more ferociously making it sink faster in the quicksand. It was so angry that its eyes become glaring red. It took all the attacks and because of its situation, it can not dodge. Even though it was also fighting back by shooting its own [Fireball], Shadowslash was doing a counter-attack and destroying them with his [Dark Slash].

*Roar!!!!!!!!!*

It then used another sound attack, but this time Shadowslash was one step ahead. He carefully and skillfully dodge the follow up attack quickly.

When 10 minutes was about to pass, the Flaming Nimbus Lion suddenly escapes the [Quicksand] and pounced on Shadowslash.

Seeing the [Quicksand] can not trap the Flaming Nimbus Lion anymore, Shadowslash immediately used [Clairvoyance].
