When it got slapped by Shadowslash, the bull blanked out. It let out a thunderous moo and started to chase after Shadowslash like it is the end of its world.

It didn't know that it was being led in an ambush. When it finally came close to the target area, Sans used [Ambush Strike] and striked the injured part of the bull's face.

The bull did not even manage to react before its head got crushed into a pulp.

Shadowslash then stops running knowing that the fight was over. He started to shred the Bulky Bull into pieces and shared them with his teammates happily.

After eating the Bulky Bull's meat, Sans leveled up. In the mean time, Shadowslash and JM started to meditate and focus on digesting the Bulky Bull's meat. Most of the meat go to Banjo, though.

After 2 hours Shadowslash and JM leveled up while Banjo had grown to 7 meters and Rank up to Bronze Rank.

Wutnessing how fast Banjo was growing, Shadowslash was astounded. He then scan Banjo's data.

Shadowslash then hold off the moving plan. However, he still decided to hunt there with the Silver Rank monsters roaming around in the area. It is a dangerous place but also a place where they can level up much faster, more opportunities await them he can feel it.

When night came Lucy, Foxxy, Dorothy and Flare were playing with each other while Shadowslash was scanning the Glowing Tree.

He was excited, flabbergasted, and elated at the same time. This time, his Shadow Clone really is the exact copy of him. It now had the same strength as his making it really useful.

Hearing what he said everybody then gathered where he is.

Seeing everyone is here, Shadowslash now ordered Leafinia to come out.

A flash came from the Luminous Tree of Life then a 3 year old looking little girl came out. She cautiously looks at everyone while holding Shadowslash tails.

He smiled looking at the adorable Leafinia. He then patted her head and introduced here to everyone else.

"Everyone this is Leafinia a Dryad that dwells inside the glowing tree."

Everyone was surprised to find out that there was actually a Tree Spirit dwelling on the glowing small tree.

After that they started to warmly play with Leafinia, especially the little girls.

Shadowslash smiled and left. He was thinking of something deeply where he can expand such chance given to him.

'SYSTEM, if I transplant the tree of life will it cause any inconvenience to Leafinia?'

(Yes it will cause severe damage to a tree spirit if their tree was transplanted. But host do not need to worry as Leafinia is a monster summoned by the System then the tree of life became a part of her, too. Hence, the System can teleport the tree without causing any harm to Leafinia.)

Shadowslash then decided to go on some of the deepest part of the forest to find a suitable place to call home.

The next day Shadowslash brought only Banjo and Sans with him to explore deep in Jade Forest.

Meanwhile, deep in the Jade Forest: Shadowslash, Banjo and Sans were exploring the area. The three encountered many monsters and all of the monsters were Silver Rank. In the tens of monsters they saw, they only managed to hunt 2 and both are relatively weak.

When they passed on a certain waterfall they saw a pond with a very clear water. In its surrounding, there are many monsters dwelling there. Even though he only sees Normal Rank monsters he could not help but felt something very powerful dwells underneath.

The 3 of them did not stay that long near the pond. They explored some more when suddenly they heard a piercing screech near the crevice.

When they finally saw the thing that was making the sound, it was actually a roc monster with roken wings and a gravely injured chest.

But Shadowslash was extremely wary to this monster. When he tried to scan the monster he got nothing, that means it is Gold Rank at least.

He told Banjo and Sans to stay while he decided to approach the roc.

Seeing somebody is approaching, the roc's expression changed. It knows the law of the jungle, survival of the fittest. It lets out a sorrowful screech and closes its eyes waiting for its death.

When Shadowslash was finally in front of the roc he was taken aback. The roc was full of burnt mark.

*Cough* *Cough*

"May I know if you can understand me?"

Hearing that the monster was actually talking to it and not killing it, it let out a joyful screech and started talking to Shadowslash.

Shadowslash had a helpless expression, the roc couldn't speak his language. It only kept talking in bird language.

So he had to stop it "Do you understand me?"

The roc nodded he asks again "Can you speak?"

The roc hesitated but eventually shakes his head.

Shadowslash then had an idea of making this roc his summoned monster.

"I can rescue you and nurse you back to health but you must be my summoned monster. Being a summoned monster meant that you will lose your freedom, so will you accept?"

Hearing that it will lose its freedom if it agrees the roc was very hesitant but it knows that if it won't accept the proposal, it will die in vain.

Seeing the conflicted expression of the roc Shadowslash patiently waited for a bird. Losing its freedom was like killing it especially for a high and mighty monster like the roc.

An hour passed but still the roc had not yet decided. It then kept looking at Shadowslash and its wings. Fiinally, for another couple of minutes the roc agrees. Its pride was not worth it as its desire to live.
