After obtaining the Ice Water Elemental Lizard as a summoned monster of his, he scanned its full potential. He also named it Clwyd.

'An elemental monster!!!' Shadowslash was exhilarated as he thought that it was an Ice and Water Type lizard only at first. He never expected that he obtained an elemental summoned monster.

Shadowslash then brought Clwyd home. It will be the guard of the cave.

Shadowslash was planning to make the creek the territory of Clwyd.

Shadowslash then brought Clwyd to hunt but it seems that elemental monster cannot digest a monster that have no same element as it is.

What he found interesting is that elemental beast doesn't need to eat and can live just by absorbing element in the surrounding.

In the process of fighting the prey, only 3 of them fought while the armadillo became a cheerleader instead.

In the day, they were able to hunt 7 Bronze Rank monsters. The 3 monsters ate so much that they become bloated. In the 3, Banjo was the one who ate the most.

Clwyd only ate one monster, a Bronze Rank turtle and when it devoured the turtle it swallowed it whole. It kept the core then after an hour, it spit it out. The turtle became a small lump of meat. It really does not eat meat at all.

Shadowslash returned home.

Coincidentally, they met his Sans and the girls. When Shadowslash scanned them he was a little startled, but remembered that Sans was with them so it was understandable why it caught him off guard because his sisters have all leveled up to Level 10.

Shadowslash also felt that Sans was closer into Ranking up. They then enter in the cave except Clwyd who stayed on the creek.

In the cave, Shadowslash was introducing JM and also told them about Clwyd. Additionally, he told them about their alliance of intelligent monsters in the surrounding area.

He finally was able to ask the thing that has been bothering him for so long,

"Mom do you know about the rule that stated that Silver Rank monster must advance deeper into the forest?"

Mary was startled by Shadowslash question. She then asks him where did he found that information.

"Mom I met the white marten, it Ranked up into a Silver Rank so it told me about the rule."

Mary nodded and told Shadowslash about the information regarding the rule.

After listening to Mary's explanation, Shadowslash realized what is the reason why the Silver Rank monsters were moving towards deeper part of the forest. It seems that the main clans of their respected race were in there, making it engraved in their blood to return to the main branch.

"Mom if it is true, that means that our bastard of a father is also deep in the forest?"

Mary at first wanted to scold her son for swearing at his father, but when she thought about what happened in the past she let out a grieved expression and tears welled up in her eyes.

*Sob* *sob*

She started crying remembering that in all these years she didn't talk about her husband. This is because she wanted to be strong for her children, but what happened really cause her pain and hurt her badly.

"Mom we are already strong enough to protect ourselves. Furthermore, in the monster world we are considered mature enough so please tell us about that asshole."

Mary nodded and narrated her story.

Before there was a group of foxes that lived here in this part of the forest. They were lead by a 3 Tailed Fox and she was the strongest in the place. Even though she was already a Silver Rank, she did not advance as she wants to bring the rest of the foxes with her.

There were only 2 male foxes in the pack and one of them was killed by an unknown monster. Therefore, there was only one left and it was their father. Since there was only one male fox in more than a dozen female foxes, he had a harem. He impregnated nearly all the foxes in the pack.

Mary and the fox leader were sisters and one of the foxes that their father have not made love with.

Mary and the fox leader were close but that changed when the fox leader and Mary were impregnated by Shadowslash's father.

Her sister wants all the love of Shadowslash's father for herself so she exiled all the foxes that had become pregnant by Shadowslash's father, including her.

In addition, the two foxes dear to her broke her heart. She considered them as her only family so she thought they will let her stay but they abused her emotionally. Moreover, the fox that she loved abandoned her without a second thought.

After telling her past, Mary broke into tears again. Shadowslash was seething with rage. He held a promise in his heart that he will fucking kill his father and aunt.

They had dinner and immediately go to sleep. This was also the first sad dinner that they had. The atmosphere was heavy and depressing in that evening.

Shadowslash made a decision to evolve his sisters tomorrow.

The next day, Shadowslash had JM stay at home to train with his sister. When he keep thinking that his sisters will Rank up into Bronze Rank, he is extremely excited and elated.

The SYSTEM notified him that to Rank a monster, it needs to sacrifice its grade so Normal Grade monster cannot Rank up. He was bewildered why.

Shadowslash was determined to make his sisters evolve today so he had Sans and Banjo team up and hunt, while he was searching for some items to evolve his sisters.

Shadowslash was dashing through the forest. He was searching for fire type beast that he can feed to his sisters.

When he was still searching, the SYSTEM gave him hints.

Shadowslash omitted what the SYSTEM had told him and he kept searching through the forest.

He stopped at some point, in front of him was another fox, a white fox with its pup that was being attacked by a huge rat.

Shadowslash then scans all of them but he didn't obtain any data from the fox and the rat. However, the SYSTEM did show up the pup's data: Level 4 (Good Grade) Fire Fox.

The battle was very fierce. The nimble body of the fox was evading all the attacks of the huge rat but the situation changed when the fox [Fireball] hit the face of the huge rat, burning it in the process.

*Screech!!!!!*

The rat started to flay around hitting the trees with its unpredictable movements. This time, the white fox suddenly became defensive, but even though it dodge for a couple of times the rat tail still got her blowing her away.

A thud was heard when the fox hits the tree.

Its body slumps down and fainted.

The damage was pretty serious. Foxes have very weak defence so one attack from a strong opponent is pretty dangerous. Sometimes one attack was all it takes to lose.

Shadowslash saw that the rat was still flaying around. It did not even know where the fox is, the earlier attack burned its eyes.

Shadowslash then decided to finish it off and firing his [Fireball] towards its face.

*Boom* the attack blast the rat's head wide open. It then slumps on the ground.

Shadowslash then came down from the branch wheere he was landing on the huge body of the rat.

His eyes lit up, he looks at the rat carcass with a heated gaze and wishes to bring it immediately. Because of this, he called Sans through the SYSTEM to go here.

He then look at the fainted fox and the hiding fox pup.

He approached the fainted fox and woke her up. When the fox opened its eyes, it was bewildered to find another fox.

It then look at where the huge rat is and saw that it was already dead.

The fox look at him and asks "Who are you?"
