Inhuman Warlock Chapter 377

Lucifer kept trying the number of Kellian, but it didn't connect.
"What did he say?" Yaliza asked Lucifer, concerned about his friend as well. He also knew about the dream.
"Salazar is already there. I doubt Kellian is going to listen to me," Lucifer answered. "Hopefully, he would at least be able to delay Salazar until we get there."
...
Kellian properly adjusted his jacket before leaving his office. Instead of letting Salazar come to him, he was going to walk to Salazar himself.
Along the way, more Uprising Warlocks joined him.
..
Salazar Lucia found the new headquarters of the Uprising, which was temporarily made in the Capital City. As for their real headquarters, it was to be made later. They had just taken over this place.
Salazar reached the entrance of the building, which was being guarded by a Warlock of Uprising. It was an S-Rank Warlock who didn't have any hair on his round head.
The Warlock known as Gallente had dark eyes that glanced at Salazar Lucia, who was coming to him.
He recognized Salazar, but he still decided to stop him. He couldn't let anyone enter without permission of Kellian.
"Warlock King Salazar, please wait right there. You first need to go through checking!"
"I don't have time," Salazar lazily said, not stopping.
"I'm afraid I must insist," Gallente stepped in front of Salazar, blocking his path.
"I stand by my statement," Salazar said, walking casually with his hand in his pocket.
As Salazar glanced at Gallente, time seemed to have slowed down. The movement speed of Gallente was that of a turtle now.
Salazar walked with his normal speed, getting past Gallente, who hadn't even managed to move his hand in this time.
Gallente noticed that Salazar was moving so fast that he couldn't catch up.

His own speed wasn't comparable. But for Salazar, he wasn't moving fast. It was Gallente who was too slow. Ten seconds of Gallente were similar to one second of Salazar.
Gallente was still caught in his slow movement, whereas Salazar had already reached the entrance of the building.
Bringing his hand out of his pocket, he pushed the door open.
As Salazar entered the building, Gallente finally came out of the time manipulation he was caught in.
Warlock King Salazar Lucia was one of the most mystical Warlocks. Not many people knew what his powers were.
Almost everyone thought that his powers were that he had super speed and high endurance, but everyone was wrong.
Warlock King Salazar Lucia had the power of Time Manipulation. He could slow down the time in his surroundings to some extent, making everything else slow down while he was able to move freely.
Everyone outside his range was unaffected by his powers though. This was also the limitation of his powers.
It didn't affect people who weren't in his range. That's why he kept the workings of his powers a secret.
It was also a power that was hard to guess since it was difficult to distinguish that it wasn't Salazar who was fast, but it was the world that was slow.
Using this strange power, he had been able to climb the hierarchy and become a Warlock King.
"Warlock King Salazar Lucia, may I ask what brought you here?"
As soon as Salazar entered the building, he was greeted by Kellian and other Warlocks standing in his path.
"You must be Kellian from Uprising, also known as the Shadow Monarch. You should be the second in command here, am I right?" Salazar Lucia asked.
"I am. So what brought you here?" Kellian calmly asked.

"I'm here to meet Lucifer," Salazar explained.
"I'm sorry, but he's not in the city at the moment. You'll have to come back later."
"Why do I find it hard to believe your words. Ah, maybe because you're not the good guys. You're the people using Lucifer for your goals, so of course, you'll keep him hidden. But I'm not going back without him. Tell me where he is?"
"I told you, he's not here. Stop being paranoid and leave. I'll inform you when he returns."
"You won't mind if I check myself, right?"
" I'm sorry, but I can't let you do that either. This is our base, not a park where anyone can roam freely."
"Should I consider it as your unwillingness to let me see for myself? That makes me even more suspicious of this place. I'm going to check myself. Step aside if you don't want to get hurt."
A calm conversation turned into something more serious, ending with a threat coming from Salazar Lucia.
"You're an idiot; you know that?" Kellian asked, shaking his head. "When he isn't here, you're still insisting so much, as if you're so sure."
"Step aside!" Salazar insisted.
Kellian sighed, remembering Lucifer's words. Lucifer didn't want any fight here, so he decided to follow those words.
"Fine! You can check. But what if you don't find him? Will you apologize for this aggression?" he asked.
"We'll see about that later." Without commenting on anything, Salazar continued walking inside.
...
"Vega, I can't contact Kellian. What's the update? Do you know why Salazar is there?" Unable to talk to Kellian, Lucifer contacted Vega.
"Yeah. I don't think there's any need to worry. Apparently, he's there to meet you and not to fight," Vega explained.
Hearing the update on the situation, Lucifer finally felt better. There was no need to worry. Still, he didn't completely put his guard down.
"That's good, but still stay alert. I don't want Kellian hurt. That prediction can't come true!"
...
Salazar Lucia checked the entire building, unable to find Lucifer. The entire building was filled with silence as it was occupied by less than a hundred people at the moment, making it easy to search the whole place.
Salazar finished the search on the terrace.
"See? He's not here. Are you satisfied now?" Kellian asked Salazar, standing under the clear sky.
"You're right," Salazar agreed. "Where is he then?"
"Why do you want to meet him?" Kellian also asked before answering.
"Because I want to take him with me, away from all this carnage," Salazar replied, turning his back on Kellian.
He looked at the beautiful setting sun in the distance.
"Yeah, that's impossible. He wanted this. He wanted Elisium to be governed by Variants."
"What you see is what he wanted. You can never take him away from this. For him, it's not a Carnage, but it's the future that he wants. So you should give up," Kellian pointed out. "He'll never come with you."
"Yeah, he won't because of you all, I know. You're the ones that messed with his brain. You think I don't know the ability of Raia?" Salazar asked, turning around.
"As long as I remove the obstruction known as Uprising, he'll definitely come with me," he added, smiling. "It's good that he's not here at the moment. I can freely take care of this mess."

The Bronze Players of Recreation
The world of Creation has seen a recent explosion of what can only be called an adventurer’s culture over the past few decades. People who were once looked at as nothing more than lower class mercenaries rose to the ranks of heroes and legends as adventuring became recognized as an idealized lifestyle of overcoming hardship and finding triumph. With the establishment of a guild-based government system on the continent of Terramania, adventurers were soon legitimized and adventuring became a phenomenon universally accepted around the world. Redlette had retreated from this world to live on Earth for the remainder of her years, having been born and outcast by the gods of Creation. However, upon meeting a friend that she treasured dearly, she found herself longing for a return to her world—she wanted to experience it properly and go on adventures with someone whom she holds dear. Putting a plan into action, she meets with her friend, an awkward, nerdy boy by the username of Herring who she’d only known through years of playing online games with him, and invites him to go on this fantastic adventure with her. An adventure in another world had always been an impossible dream for Herring, but when he suddenly found himself with the opportunity to embark on one, he knew it wouldn’t be as simple as books and shows made it out to be. Redlette was notorious for rushing into things without thinking them through, and he was flighty and weak. In the games they played together, they rarely grasped victory. They were losers through and through, both in hobby and life. Despite this, though, he takes the leap and sets off with Redlette into the world of Creation. Together they only had one goal: to have fun and go on the adventure of their lives. This time, they’d establish a guild of their own and be free to take on whatever exploits their hearts desired. This is the story of the founding of their guild. Author’s Notes: -My writing style is largely based off of the absurd amount of light novels I’ve read and anime I’ve watched, so it may come off as cartoonish or exaggerative at times. If that isn’t your thing, I’d steer clear of this story.-Not an MMO story.-No numerical stats.-Relatively slow pacing.-Posts are between 2000-5000 words weekly after Chapter 1.
