My Little Sweet Wife Chapter 739

Seeing that Qin Gengxin was so calm and composed, Huang Jingguo smiled. "Alright then. Boss, I'll be going now."
Qin Gengxin nodded with a smile.
When the office quietened down, he looked at the computer's screen. After reading a few final reports, Qin Gengxin tapped on the keyboard, then looked at the phone on the desk and picked it up.

Xian Guiying had just sent Qin Wenqian to kindergarten. During the past half month, Qin Wenqian didn't go to kindergarten due to her return to H City.
When she received Qin Gengxin's call, Xian Guiying was about to ask another auntie at the kindergarten out for a drink. She picked up her cell phone, put it to her ear, smiled, and said, "Why are you calling?"
"You already sent Qianqian to kindergarten?" Qin Gengxin asked softly.
"Yes, I have."
"Since she hasn't gone to school in half a month, won't Qianqian feel that those aunties and her little friends have become strangers? Is there a problem?"
"Nope. Qianqian became more lively after she came back. She even took the initiative to play with her friend just now."
Qin Gengxin paused for a moment before he said apologetically, "Guiying, I'm sorry. I should have gone to kindergarten with you. You went there alone every time."
"Don't you have work to do? Besides, you have been delaying your company's matters just for my sake. If I don't even understand you at this point, how could I be worthy of being the mother of our children?"
Qin Gengxin chuckled.
"Moreover, there weren't many children who were sent out by their parents every day anyway. I don't care about these small details, so you don't need to care too much about it. Just focus on your company. Remember, if you need my help, tell me immediately. Don't bear it alone."
Qin Gengxin smiled as he held his phone. "I might be a bit late tonight, but I will still eat dinner with you two."
"What's wrong? Is there a social gathering again? Didn't you just see Mr. Hendrickson last night?"
Qin Gengxin rubbed his forehead and if he could, he didn't want to say these things to her, but he didn't want to hide it either. "It's about Bai Nuying. She stole the files and evidence regarding Qin that Mrs. Ning has in her possession and ran over here to help us. Mrs. Bai was so angry that she searched around for her, and Huang Jingguo had arranged for her to settle down near the company temporarily."

Xian Guiying stopped walking on the street. She hesitated for a moment before asking, "What are you planning to do?"
"I didn't want to see her at first, but I have to settle this matter. Mrs. Bai's actions towards Qin Corporation were not only because she had long planned to snatch my company but also to avenge her daughter's heartbreak. Bai Nuying was a small fuse. In this matter, she was innocent. Although I don't have any feelings for her, she still did this for me. If I don't go and look at her, it seems …"
"If you don't go and see her, it would be very unkind of you." Xian Guiying said as she walked to the parking lot. "Where does she live? I want to meet her."
Qin Gengxin's handsome eyebrows shot up and a smile instantly appeared on his face. "You?"
Xian Guiying took out her car keys and pressed the button. She opened the car door and got into the car. She wore her Bluetooth earpiece and replied, "I think, compared to you going to see her, it's better for me to go see her."
"Jealous?"
Black lines appeared on Xian Guiying's forehead, "What should I be jealous of? I just feel that it's necessary for me to meet her. I just want to have a good chat with her."
Qin Gengxin only smiled. "Darling, you have to be gentle. No matter how she was before, at least she has shown me some kindness. Don't hurt her."
Xian Guiying knew that Qin Gengxin was joking with her. It wasn't as if he didn't know her personality. How could she possibly hurt Bai Nuying?
At most, Xian Guiying's sharp words would only hurt her.
"Forget it; I'm not going to tell you anything. I'm driving. Send the address to my phone." With that, she hung up the phone.
Seeing Xian Guiying's behavior, Qin Gengxin chuckled as he sent Bai Nuying's address to her. After that, he put down his phone and looked at the screen that had gone black.
If Qin Gengxin went to see Bai Nuying, it would only add more to their problem and give her more hope. This matter had to be dealt with by Xian Guiying and she was indeed the best choice.

Standing outside the small apartment door, Xian Guiying checked the address on her phone again before looking at her surroundings. Then, she raised her hand and pressed the doorbell.

After pressing for a long time, no one answered. She didn't know if the doorbell was broken or something, but she simply knocked on the door. There was no reply from the person inside, but there was a sound of something being thrown on the door.
Seeing the door tremble, Xian Guiying's face was calm. She did not reveal her identity, nor did she say any words of persuasion. She just stood there silently for a while and was about to leave when the door behind her was suddenly forced open.
"When is Qin Gengxin coming?" Bai Nuying stared at Xian Guiying's back with a pale face and red eyes.
When Xian Guiying turned around, the expression on Bai Nuiying's face immediately froze.
Xian Guiying looked at her haggard appearance. Her clothes seemed to be meticulously worn out and her hair was draped over her shoulders. The paleness of her face was too noticeable, and her eyes were red. The look of anticipation in Bai Nuying's eyes made Xian Guiying's heart ache.
In the past, she, too, had been filled with disappointment and anticipation.
Actually, thinking about it, Bai Nuying had offended her powerful mother for Qin Gengxin. If that wasn't love, then what was it? It was just that she arrived late and the timing was not right.
Xian Guiying was not a generous woman who would help others, nor would she back down. She was unlike Bai Nuying, who took advantage of her most despairing moment to say something akin to a vicious knife on the phone.
The tiny bit of compassion in her heart immediately disappeared because of that vicious knife.
Qin Gengxin was the father of her daughter. No matter when she promised to remarry, this love, this marriage, she would defend it herself. It was no longer like before. This time, she would no longer remain silent.
Looking at Xian Guiying, Bai Nuying's lips moved slightly, but in the end, nothing came out of her mouth. She looked at Xian Guiying with red eyes. Then, as if she understood something, she did not close the door. Instead, she turned around and walked inside.
Seeing that Bai Nuying let herself in, Xian Guiying took a step forward and walked inside.
Without a strength, Bai Nuying lazily sat on the couch, not looking at her.
Xian Guiying then closed the apartment door and turned around to look at the environment of the small apartment. Huang Jingguo had arranged for her to stay in this apartment rather than the one under Qin Gengxin's name.
"Why did you make yourself look so haggard?" Xian Guiying asked softly, like an older sister who was concerned about her little sister.
Bai Nuying was a few years younger than her, and she had experienced too few setbacks. Perhaps her only setback was Qin Gengxin.
Bai Nuying sat there with her head down. Her voice was light and hoarse, "What are you doing here? Did Brother Gengxin ask you to come?"
Seeing that she didn't have that kind of arrogant attitude and her whole body was filled with sadness, Xian Guiying felt that Bai Nuying was just a willful child who was used to being spoiled.
"Have you eaten?" Xian Guiying didn't answer her but asked her instead.
Bai Nuying curled up on the couch with her arms around her legs, burying her face in her knees. After a long while, she finally sobbed and said, "Are you here to scold me? Or are you here to beat me up?"
"Why should I hit you and scold you?" Xian Guiying smiled indifferently. She turned around and went into the kitchen. She saw some food that had been bought by Qin Gengxin's secretary and they were all cold.
She opened the fridge and saw some noodles. She boiled some water and cooked the noodles.
Ten minutes later, Xian Guiying came out with a bowl of noodles and placed it on the tea table. "Bai Nuying, I know that your mother has spoiled you since you were young. Although some of your actions are excessive until it makes people feel disgusted, after all, you have never committed any grave mistakes that I cannot tolerate. The relationship between you and Qin Gengxin has always been clean, but this kind of thing is very hard for me to bear. Bai Nuying, I understand your feelings, but you are not a child. No matter how good or bad Qin Gengxin is, you still can't let yourself go the wrong way and become the third person."
