Unsure whether to laugh or to cry, she said, “Babies be good, Mommy will let you three carry me after I give birth to your younger sister.”

The cubs rubbed their furry little heads against their mother, and only then calmed down.

After he combed her hair, Bai Qingqing tied it into two plaits, fearing they would get messy. She dug out two animal skin straps that were cast aside and tied a butterfly knot at the end of the two plaits.

He got up and came to Bai Qingqing with a sweep of his snake’s tail. “Ever since that doctor came, we haven’t mated since. It’s time to make up for that.”

“Ah?” Bai Qingqing was dumbfounded for a moment. Why did the topic change so fast?
