“Yes, I do,” the young man nodded without hesitation. The crowd was even more intrigued now. They shifted their eyes to the Cabinet Master to see his reaction. To everyone’s surprise, the Cabinet Master remained expressionless and apparently acquiesced to the young man’s statement.

The young man really could make decisions and tell the Cabinet Master what to do.

“Okay. I will let them off the hook if you can give me your word,” said Ye Futian. The crowd looked at him. It was clear that he came to Ninth Street specifically to acquire the Phoenix’s Marrow of ten thousand years.

“Good. If we can find it, Master, we don’t need anything else in return. All we want is to become your friends,” the young man said with a carefree smile as though something as precious as the Phoenix’s Marrow of ten thousand years was nothing but a tool for him to forge friendships.

“No problem,” Ye Futian replied. “Let’s talk on the way.”
