Lin Xin awoke to find that Lin Huang was still sleeping. She decided to skip breakfast as she didn’t want to interrupt his sleep. After carefully washing up, she left for school.

It wasn’t until 12 pm that Lin Huang finally woke up. He threw his arms back and lazily stretched his back. After half a day’s worth of beauty sleep he felt completely refreshed, the fatigue from the previous few days completely gone.

Noticing how late it was, he immediately jumped out of bed. He threw on a set of clothes and washed up before rushing to the kitchen.

He opened the refrigerator and saw it packed with food. Evidently, Lin Xin had recently stocked up the refrigerator.

Lin Huang had always felt that the refrigerators in this world were fascinating They weren’t powered by electricity but by a Frost Crystal. Their insides weren’t made of an insulative material but were instead made of a unique bone-like material. It’s interior was shaped like a single section refrigerator from Earth.

He took out two poultry eggs and some of the leftover rice from last night and made a plate of fried rice with eggs.

Compared to Earth, there were larger variety of poultry eggs, totalling over 20 types of eggs. If you added in the eggs brought in by Hunters from the wild, humans had over 280 types of eggs to consume.

After finishing his meal and cleaning up the mess, he went back to his room and began planning for his advancement.

In order to advance, he needed to find a suitable Life Seed however due to his status as a reserve hunter, he only had access to one-star information from the Hunter Association. With this access level, he could only access basic information on Life Seeds. With this in mind, he decided to search for Yi Zheng. Yi Zheng was a Golden Hunter and had access to four-star information. Finding a proper Life Seed would be a lot easier with his help.

Hearing that Lin Huang was looking for a Life Seed for his advancement, Yi Zheng enthusiastically recommended a few to him and sent him a guide on Life Seeds as well. Lin Huang glanced through the recommendations, but didn’t manage to find what he wanted so he decided to look through the guide.

He opened up the guide, 《Life Seed Wikia》, and entered his search criteria.

“Enhancement System, Blade Type, BlackIron.”

A moment later, the search results were displayed : 13 Life Seeds

Based on this number, Blade type Life Seeds were clearly quite rare.

He began running down the list of Life Seeds.

[Life Seed Name: Swift Blade Seed]

[Talent Effect : Lv. 1 Blade speed increased by 20%, Every advancement will add an additional 20%. At the third level, Blade speed will be increased by 80%]

[How to obtain it: Kill a Swift Blade Mantis. ]

A moment later, he had managed to scroll through all 13 of the results. Other than the Enlightenment Blade Seed, he wasn’t interested in the rest. He wasn’t even that interested in the Enlightenment Blade Seed either. He disliked it for two main reasons. The first was that it didn’t raise his combat strength directly. The second was that even if it was raised to the Golden Realm (Lv.3) , its effect was only increased to 20%. This was worse than taking a special meditative drug to boost his cultivation.

“There doesn’t seem to be any useful Blade Life Seeds in the BlackIron realm…” his brows furrowed as he thought of this. He originally planned to get a Blade Life Seed to complement his Grand Desolation Blade Scripture. With these two effects combined, his Blade Dao can be cultivated to its maximum potential, making him invincible among his peers.

However, his plans were foiled by the fact that there were no good Blade Life Seed candidates.

“I guess I’ll have to settle for a Compound Life Seed. If there’s no good candidates, I’ll have to settle for a Firearms Life Seed.” He sighed as he went through his options in his head. Having settled on one, he changed the search criteria.

“Compound System, BlackIron.”

The guide quickly returned the results however, it was even less than before: two results.

This wasn’t a particularly surprising result for Lin Huang. He knew that Compound and Special Life Seeds were the rarest kinds of Life Seed. He immediately looked through the two results.

[Talent Effect : Lv. 1 Self-healing increased by 10%, healing effect increased by 10%, monster likeability increased by 10% Every advancement will add an additional 10%. At the third level, all three effects will be increased by 40%]

[How to obtain it: Kill a Pale Immortal Vine. ]

After reading through this description, he immediately ruled it out. It’s effects were useless to him and the Pale Immortal Vine was the stuff of legends. Whether or not such a rare plant still existed was not even known.

He moved on to the next result.

[Life Seed Name: Dextrous Hands]

[Talent Effect : Lv. 1 Finger dexterity increased by 10%, attack speed of both arms increased by 10%, arm flexibility increased by 10% Every advancement will add an additional 10%. At the third level, all three effects will be increased by 40%]

[How to obtain it: Kill a Six-Armed Succubus. ]

Dextrous Hands immediately caught the attention of Lin Huang. While it didn’t increase his combat strength directly, it significantly boosted his Blade and Firearms techniques.

However, he wasn’t in a hurry to make a decision. He noted down this Life Seed and searched for Firearms Life Seeds.

After another few minutes of scanning, he finally came to a decision.

“It’ll have to be Dextrous Hands. There’s no other Life Seed that suits me within the BlackIron realm. All I need to do is search for information on the Six-Armed Succubus.”

Lin Huang began searching through the HeartNet for its information.

Attached to this entry was a picture of the monster.

It wore a red dress that floated eerily in the air. The monster itself had no legs but had six deformed arms. They were two metres long and had two elbows. As for its face, it only consisted of a mask with an exaggerated ghost face drawn on it. Unlike its namesake, there was nothing beautiful about this creature at all, instead, it looked extremely savage. Behind this mask was a flowing head of hair that extended to its waist.

Overall, it looked like a six-armed savage banshee dressed in a red dress.

Lin Huang was left speechless by its image. If such a creature roamed the nights of Earth, a lot of people would have been scared to death by it…
