《Exiled Aristocrat》The battle that started and ended everything

A man in a shabby, yet fearsome hood made of various monster skins was slowly climbing an incandescent volcanic mountain, accompanied by a black and golden-eyed wolf that heightened tree time his height.
The pairing was very unusual, but from the way they were advancing one could tell that these two were clearly casual to each other.
The temperature was above what a human skin could withstand, but the duo didn’t seem bothered by it the slightest.
Hovering above the mountain were fiery dragons swarming the area like a swarm of insects.
Those dragons were labeled by human standards as one of the strongest of the category of monster known as mythical beasts, due to their very territorial nature, they never allowed anything to pass through their territory, which was the mountain the duo were climbing, yet not one of them tried to involve themselves with the duo; in fact, they actively avoided hovering anywhere close to them.
Only one was brave enough to descend upon the duo, blocking their path, let out a proud roar, which sent a gust of wind blowing away the hood that covered the man's face.
At a simple glance, one could tell that the face once belonged to a handsome young man, but now was ravaged and covered with scars and burns.
His long grey hair was flapping around with the wind.
The giant wolf accompanying him put a step forward, with the clear intent to deal with the hindrance blocking their way.
The man ordered the wolf not to interfere with the dragon with just a sign of his left arm, which was covered in scars to the point where it no longer resembled a human arm but rather an old rusted arm-shaped piece of metal.
The man slowly opened his eyes which were closed since the beginning and glared at the Fiery Dragon, who immediately assumed a submissive position, and got away from their road.

The Fiery Dragon was full of pride, stronger, older, it didn’t matter never would bend to any being.
But that person… those eyes…
This red is thicker than blood and more ferocious than fire, but the strange contrast they exuded was the most striking with them: both seemed full of life yet so empty at the same time.
Those weren’t the eyes of a living being, it was those of the death, those of a reaper, and the fiery dragon knew that very well.
The duo continued their way, to finally reach their final destination: the summit of a giant seemingly inactive volcano.
The man looked over the volcano and announced with a voice full of determination.
He retrieved a Magnifique black and red sword from his waist.
“Can you see it, Han?”
“Today, I came to upkeep my promise: whatever the outcome of this battle, it will mark the end of our journey, and hopefully the beginning of our new one.”
With that, the man jumped into the volcano crater without hesitation. And not even five seconds after his jump, a column of fire erupted from the volcano, expelling the man almost immediately.
Tossed in the air, the man readapted in midair and landed completely unarmed next to the wolf.
An Earth-shattering roar resonated from within the volcano, giving the impression, that it could erupt at any moment.
They both looked in direction of the crater.
The ground was shaking furiously.
A massive claw appeared on the crater's flange, and its owner gradually revealed himself.
Still dripping with lava, a majestic red and crystalline-scaled dragon the size of a small mountain, on its head was two sets of horns on his back was something that one would assume must’ve been a Magnifique pair of wings.
“You are…human… State your name.”

The dragon spoke without even moving his jaws; surprisingly, her voice was strict and feminine in contrast to its fearsome appearance.
“...”
The man delivered no answer to the dragon, instead, he just pointed his sword at the majestic dragon.
“That, sword ?! What did you do to him?! Don’t you humans, consider him as one of your apostles, why would you do that to him?”
Once again the man remained completely deaf to the dragon's words.
“I see, ... Greed it is? That would explain your presence here, Your boldness is indeed admirable, but do you really think that a mere greedy human can do anything against me, Amira, the Primordial Fire Dragon?”
“I do. For met to see… that sight… that light once again… I will slaughter everything that will stand on my way, whether it be an apostle, human or a primordial dragon such as yourself.” The man announced full of confidence and determination.
“I see… Then brace yourself for a death fitting a fool blinded by greed.”
Thus, began the battle between one of the world's most powerful beings, and the man later became known as the One who slew the last apostles began.

The Voice of the World
Jason Elric used to be an ordinary college student living in the heart of San Francisco. He had a part time job, he played online games with friends he got along moderately well with, and he earned reasonably good grades. The worst he really had to worry about in life was turning in his coursework on time and not being late to class. Now, though? Now fighting for his life and running from a horde of giant frogs that want to make him their next meal is just another Tuesday. Thanks to a summoning ritual gone terribly right, Jason has found himself trapped in a world eerily similar to the role playing games games he used to play for fun. Unfortunately for the now ex-college student, everything happening around him is terrifyingly real and if he wants to survive, he’ll have to figure out how to exploit the system for his benefit before it’s too late. The Voice of the World is the first part of what is planned to be a multi-book, Isekai LitRPG story with crafting elements, set in the fantasy world known as Verdania. This is my first time posting online for public consumption, so bear with me as I work to find a style that people like. While I may occasionally write scenes that may deal with heavy concepts, expect this story to be primarily light hearted high fantasy. There will be a lot of common fantasy tropes involved, as this story got its start as a simple practice exercise, rather than any plan to actually post it. However, it’s grown on me, so I felt it’s worth sharing after all. Thus, if you’re looking for more serious/original/unusual stories, you might want to look elsewhere. For the rest of you, feel free to leave suggestions, as well as to point out grammar and spelling mistakes; I’ll do my best to make edits to correct them. I do my own editing currently, and it’s easy to miss things when you know what’s supposed to be there, so such call outs are highly encouraged. Content TLDR: No harems, probably no romance (unless it makes sense for the story later on) (it did, eventually), definitely no sex (keeping this PG-13 or close to it), limited profanity. Does/Will contain mixes of magic and technology (think Warhammer, Final Fantasy); copious amounts of blue tables; race, gender, and sexual equality concepts; crafting sequences; and (slightly, but not overbearingly) strong protagonists. If you don’t like these things, go elsewhere instead of downvoting people for content instead of writing quality. Update Time currently varies, due to personal injury, but the goal is 1/week on Wednesdays, with a possible smaller chapter on weekends if time/health permits.

*UPDATES EVERY MONDAY AND FRIDAY, SOMETIMES MORE IF I DON'T HAVE SCHOOLWORK. **This is tagged as comedy but I have a really stupid and peculiar sense of humor so yeah. "That's an eldritch horror." "No it's not, it's a frog." "Why does it have ten eyes and eight rows of teeth, not just that but why does it just perpetually scream with the voices of the ones whose mind it has eaten." Not knowing of the plans of the witch that once scorched the lands, and unknowing of the abyss that beckons him forth. This harmless sweetie watches the stories of those around him. Ever unconscious of the turning loom of fate, always oblivious of the stories, legends, and tapestries of heroes that revolve around him as he goes, as he dances, and as he prances, leaving myths and rumours wherever he might set foot in. But as he is unaware of those whose fates have intertwined with his, he is also blind to the soul-piercing stares of the Abyss, ever calling to him.
