I Did Many Dangerous Things After Knowing When I Would Die Chapter 37

Of course, Blake had no intention whatsoever of saving John Jones.
He wasn't going to waste his energy on pointless things, now that he was given a second chance at life.
He couldn't afford to put others first because if the task sent by the system was not completed tonight, he would be the one to die tomorrow.
Why should he live a life of regret and allow these incompetent men to escape death time and time again?
Blake wasn't a saint, and he did not wish to be one either.
Instead of allowing John Jones and the likes to roam the earth, it was better to finish him off.
Blake had thought so, and as such, he had been willing to send John Jones to the afterlife.
Of course, in the eyes of the Criminal Investigation Division and the audience in the livestream, it was John Jones who had tried snatched Blake's Lotus Lamp. They assumed that the two of them were in an argument, and that John Jones unfortunately tripped into the cracks of the ground.
Therefore, the audience did not feel much pity for John Jones. Instead, they were indignant and thought he got what he deserved!
In the distance, the captain, who had been looking on, had actually noticed what really happened, but he kept silent. He had a tiny smile on his face, though, as he turned his head away, pretending nothing ever happened. John Jones dared to lay his hands on his men. He had long disregarded John as a good person.
It was gratifying to see him die so unexpectedly.
The captain did not expose Blake's trickery, and the entire livestream was filled with angry comments cursing John, along with words of gratitude for Blake.
...
At this point, the Criminal Investigation Division was saved, but the situation in front of them still remained unresolved.
The pests were still emerging from the tomb and scurrying around; it wouldn't take long before they covered the entire mountain. The situation was still grave.

"This place must be sealed off as soon as possible! Then, we'll get the Mayor's permission to approve the use of large-scale insecticides.
"We absolutely can't let these guys escape from this place alive!"
The captain said firmly to the surrounding men, his mind set on eradicating these unstable creatures.
Every team member who heard the order raised their heads and puffed out their chests with a determined expression.
"We'll wait for Blake to retreat. After he exits the tomb chamber, we'll completely seal off this area. Then..."
The captain's back was facing the tomb chamber as he spoke in a deep voice. He had been prepared to explain his plan in detail, but his voice trailed off as he noticed one of the soldiers pointing in Blake's direction, his face stricken with horror.
"Captain! Look! Blake, he-"
The captain observed everyone's faces and whipped his head behind in confusion.
Then, he saw a spectacular scene unfolding before his very eyes. Blake was holding the Lotus Lamp in his right hand and a strange box in the other. He was standing in the center of the group of deranged insects, muttering something under his breath.
At the same time, the magic artifact in his right hand blew up a cyclone. It spiraled upwards and wrapped around the wick of the lantern on his right. As if blowing a bubble, it magnified the light from the wick until it covered the entire cemetery.
The corpse insects rotted under the light, and they immediately fell back and dispersed as quickly as they could. Ultimately, however, they disintegrated and turned into wisps of blackish-green smoke.
The scene was astonishing.
Not even special effects used in films could have imitated this!
When the members of the Criminal Investigation Division and the viewers saw what was taking place, their pupils widened in shock.
They looked at Blake, who stood in the center of the cemetery amidst the green wisps from the dying pests. He was the Savior of the Apocalypse!

"So cool… He's so cool!"
"Blake! Will you have a child with me? I'm willing!"
"Get lost, shameless b*tch! He's obviously mine! Don't steal others' possessions!"
"Which high school is Blake from? I want to enroll now!"
"I'm Blake's classmate. I'm selling his contact information for 10 yuan. Does anyone want it?"
"I want it, I want it!"
...
The entire comments section of the livestream went crazy!
The Criminal Investigation Division faces were blank; they were so taken aback that they were rendered speechless for a long time.
They had been using impressive tactics and weapons like flamethrowers and machine guns to deal with the horde of disgusting bugs, but Blake had just casually solved the issue.
No words could describe their feelings at this moment except for the painful silence that lingered.
...
Under the watchful eyes of the audience, Blake, who had finished exterminating the swarm of corpse bugs, exhaustedly retrieved the magic tools.
That's right, this was the method he'd used to eliminate the insects.
In truth, when he had discovered the Lotus Lamp in the Supernatural Treasure Guide, he only had the confidence to chase the army of pests away. He didn't think he had the method to eradicate them.
However, after obtaining Pandora's Box in the tomb, he soon discovered another attribute it held – 'Buff'!
With this quirk, he was able to expand the power of the light a hundredfold.
Therefore, he thought of this method to counter the swarm of creatures.
Now that the pests have been completely extinguished, it looked like that his plan had been right.
Blake heaved a long sigh of relief as he felt a burden instantly lifted off from his shoulders.
He began to look around, searching for Monroe's voice.
Now that everything was under control, what was the third step in sealing Rakshasa?
He wanted to ask Monroe.
However, before he could find her figure, a huge mist black Qi surged out from the collapsed earth and rocks!
It was Rakshasa's ghost!
It had sensed Blake's aura after wiping out the corpse insects, and it now showed itself from under the tomb!
This time, the ghost had been ejected from the main body of Rakshasa, so it wasn't just the typical evil Qi that everyone couldn't see.
It was a real entity!
The Criminal Investigation Division and the audience could see it clearly!
Everyone screamed their heads off, and the comments kept pouring in.
"Ah! The ghostly Qi is real! Blake was right! It really was under the tomb!"
"So it's true! There really is something fishy about this damn place! What the hell is this?"
"Everyone, look, that black air current seems to have formed into a human face!"
"Ah! This evil black aura seems to be heading towards Blake! He's in danger!"
"Blake, run! Run!"
The comments section erupted with warnings and shock.
Presently, the Criminal Investigation Division had also noticed the ghostly mist that was aiming at Blake. Their expressions were frantic as they cried out to him in panic.
"Blake! Quickly walk towards us! It's dangerous!"
Everyone looked at him with fear and trepidation.
This hero who had saved everyone and destroyed all the vermin was now completely enveloped by the black aura!
His figure was surrounded by the black mist and he began to disappear inch by inch. Not long after, he completely vanished from everyone's sight.
"Blake has been consumed by the black gas! Criminal Investigation Division, please, hurry up and save him!"
A comment resounded, worried for Blake's safety.
However, the Criminal Investigation Division didn't have time to react to what was happening. In the next moment, the mass of black Qi wrapped around Blake's body and retreated back into the tomb!

Creature Feature: InGen Hybrids
The fossil record is obviously incomplete, which means InGen's experiments with the hybridisation of various prehistoric creatures are probably not over. With that in mind, this guide is likely incomplete. But if you're writing Jurassic Park or Jurassic World fanfiction, or stories told within that pretty awesome universe, then any of the creatures found in these fair pages should be considered entirely canon!
