MMORPG: I Can See Hidden Information Chapter 164

Fike and Eddie followed Xiao Zhao as they navigated through the Far East Village, before finally arriving at the foot of the East Immortal Mountain.
Xiao Zhao addressed the two of them when they arrived.
"We'll be able to see the East Immortal Sect once we scale this mountain!"
Fike and Eddie exchanged a glance.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go up!"
Xiao Zhao smiled coyly after hearing that. Then, she took out a talisman from her waist and handed it to them.
"It's not that easy to go up the mountain! Our East Immortal Sect only allows internal disciples to climb up.
"In order for you to ascend without issue, you need to take this Immortal Talisman with you.
"Otherwise, you will be restricted here by the barriers set up by the elders!"
Fike took the Immortal Talisman as Eddie asked Xiao Zhao.
"Xiao Zhao, why did the East Immortal Sect set up such a barrier here?"
Xiao Zhao answered directly.
"A few years ago, the three tribes incessantly sent people to attack the East Immortal Sect. There were even spies in the tribes who disguised themselves as immortals seeking the dao, trying to join our sect.
"However, their schemes were all seen through by the elders in the end.
"In order to prevent such things from happening in the future, the elders of the East Immortal Sect set up a barrier here."
Fike continued to ask after hearing this.
"If that's the case, what if someone really seeking to cultivate immortality wanted to join the East Immortal Sect?"
Xiao Zhao smiled as she replied.
"That's easy. Our East Immortal Sect holds a recruitment trial every year. Those who pass the test can join."
After hearing this, Fike's interest in the East Immortal Sect grew even stronger.

"In that case, let's not waste any more time. If we have any questions, won't the elders at the top have the answers anyway?"
Eddie urged.
Fike nodded.
At this moment, Xiao Zhao explained.
"But I only have one extra Immortal Talisman. Why don't you guys wait for me here at the bottom of the mountain? I'll explain the situation to the elders after I go up, and I'll come back to pick you up!"
"No need, Xiao Zhao."
Fike said.
He handed the Immortal Talisman to Eddie before he continued.
"I want to test the power of this barrier, so I won't take the Immortal Talisman!"
"But... If you don't have the Immortal Talisman, you will..."
Before she could finish, Fike waved his hand to interrupt her.
"Don't bother, just let me try!"
As he said this, Fike was already walking up the mountain.
The East Immortal Mountain was abnormally steep, the stairs leading up to it seemed to stand completely vertical.
The slightest carelessness would cause him to fall off the cliff.
An ordinary person without the Immortal Talisman could still probably make it up a few steps relying on their own formidable strength, but if they couldn't bear it halfway and fell off the East Immortal Mountain...
They would probably end up with their body smashed into pieces.
"Fike, are you okay?"
Xiao Zhao asked.
Fike didn't feel that it was too difficult at the moment, but at the same time, he could clearly feel the effects of a barrier on this mountain.
However, the intensity of its strength was only similar to what he had felt when he was scaling the Sealing Mountain.
He replied to Xiao Zhao.
"I'm fine, let's continue!"
After an arduous climb, the trio finally arrived at the main gate of the East Immortal Sect.

The main gates were indeed magnificent, and they occupied a huge area.
The white outer walls were engraved with the symbol of the East Immortal Sect.
In the sky above them, Fike also noticed an invisible dome that sheltered all the buildings of the East Immortal Sect.
It resembled a huge protective shell.
Xiao Zhao was the first to enter the main gates, and the two disciples at their posts exclaimed excitedly when they saw her.
"Second senior sister! You're finally back!"
"Second senior sister! Second senior sister! Was there anything fun outside? Tell us quickly!"
As the two were still immersed in the joy of Xiao Zhao's return, they suddenly glanced at Fike and Eddie Moss.
"Who are you? How did you two break into the East Immortal Mountain? Tell us honestly!"
"You two, leave quickly! Otherwise, We'll call for the elders!"
Seeing that her two junior brothers had not figured out the situation yet, Xiao Zhao explained patiently.
"They are friends that I brought back from my trip down the mountain. There's no need to make things difficult for them!"
The two disciples guarding the gate withdrew their hostility after hearing this.
They apologized to the two of them.
"I'm sorry, I thought you two were experts sent by the three main tribes!"
"I'm sorry, too. There has been such a situation before. I hope that you understand why we have to be cautious!"
Fike excused them with a smile.
"It's good to be cautious! That way, we can prevent future trouble!"
The three made their way toward the inner sanctum of the East Immortal Sect when the disciple's voice rang out again.
"Big brother, why could you come up without an Immortal Talisman? Is it because you've already broken our elder's enchantments?"
Realizing that the disciple was addressing him, Fike replied with a smile.
"I can't say that I've broken it. I just relied on my own strength to brute force my way up!"
The two disciples looked at him in surprise and gave him a thumbs up.
"Amazing! This is the first time I've seen someone who could walk up without an Immortal Talisman!"
Then, under Xiao Zhao's lead, Fike and Eddie finally arrived in front of the main hall of the East Immortal Sect.
Along the way, Fike had observed the structures of the buildings within the compound.
The buildings here were vaguely similar to the ones he had seen in the Heavenly Palace in his spiritual world through the Infinite Ring.
On the martial practice field, there were many disciples who were cultivating.
As they stood in front of the grand hall, Xiao Zhao whispered to Fike and Eddie.
"Wait here for me for a while. I'll go and let the four elders know. I'll bring you in after that. What do you think?"
Fike and Eddie nodded.
Then, Xiao Zhao walked into the hall.
"Elders! Xiao Zhao has returned with the secret of the stone tablet!"
As he peeked inside, Fike spotted the four white-haired old men sitting quietly, all dressed in the same garbs.
At this moment, a voice sounded.
"Xiao Zhao, why didn't you tell us that you brought your friends back? Do you want to leave them standing outside the hall for the whole time?"
The voice was from the old man sitting in the middle of the hall.
Xiao Zhao smiled.
"Okay, Great Elder, I'll bring them in now!"
Then, Xiao Zhao walked out, coming back to Fike and Eddie.
"Great Elder wants to see you. Come with me!"

8 4548Celestial [A Progression Fantasy LitRPG]
Warning!Profanity, unconventional relationships, drug use, descriptive gore and intimacy. Celestial is a slow-paced and action-packed progression fantasy with elements from the LitRPG genre. The story focuses on the protagonist’s personal growth, violence, sex, exploration and adventure. Follow Zelaria as she embarks on her journey of exploration and adventure, seeking ever greater heights of power. With an affinity for the elusive and mysterious Arcane and a preference for the thrill of close combat she nonetheless chooses to walk the path of a mage. A mage may still use weapons but a warrior rarely casts spells as far as she knows. It’s a logical path for her even if others may call it insanity. What do they know? Most people who choose to specialize in wielding mana tend to pick a mage class aligned with their element. Why become a standard mage, average at everything, when you can use your affinity for fire to become a fire mage and cause destruction with ease? The only problem for Zelaria is that no one seems to know how to get a mage class aligned with the arcane. Approaching 17 years of age she’s still at level 0 while her peers have long left her behind, their classes selected at the age of 15 when they became available. Luck is on her side though as she manages to snag employment as a hauler with a party heading on an expedition to a dungeon abandoned centuries ago. They’re looking for riches and danger while she’s still looking for an answer, one she finds at their destination even if not in the way she expected. Nothing is going to stop her from enjoying all that the world has to offer, not the wish of her parents or even her death. I'll be aiming to upload 5 chapters in bulk every week.

8 196Prey No More
Imagine being given a second chance at life. Not only that but with a life you chose (sort of). This is exactly the situation that our character is in. He was once a Biology Graduate Student involved in a special program in Alaska studying Polar Bears. In an ironic twist of fate his life is ended by exactly that which he was trying to study. Now, in a new world, he refuses to be anything but the top of the food chain. IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a story I began writing a year and a half ago and decided to shelf, I'm coming back to it now because I miss writing; however, I have not carved out any time specifically for this and, as of now, it will be something I do on the side for fun. Currently I have 9 chapters plus a prologue written; I'm going to be going through and editting it to be in a present tense (from past), as well as changing some of the story and grammar. Let me know what you think, and thanks for reading.
