MMORPG: I Can See Hidden Information Chapter 160

Fike looked at the mess of a hidden message, confused.
In his heart, even though he knew that he had come to the distant past three thousand years ago through the Time Mirror, he had no explanation for why the hidden message would malfunction like this.
"Fike! There's a camp here!"
Xiao Zhao pointed out excitedly.
There were doubts in his heart as Fike stared silently at the inner areas of the Fu Shou Camp.
The place looked very peaceful. He couldn't find any indication of the danger the hidden message had warned of.
"Fike! Fike! Why are you in a daze again?"
Xiao Zhao asked.
Snapping back to his senses, Fike asked her.
"Do you feel a dangerous aura?"
After hearing this, Xiao Zhao carefully observed her surroundings, trying her best to find any sense of the danger Fike was asking about.
Finally, she turned to him with a gloomy face.
"Where did this concern come from? I think you didn't have a good rest last night, so you're afraid of everything, right?"
Receiving her haughty answer, Fike explained.
"I didn't mean that. I just have a strange intuition that this place is very dangerous."
"If that's the case, then shall we take a detour, Lord Fike?"
Xiao Zhao grumbled unhappily.
Seeing her attitude, he said helplessly.
"Forget it, forget it. Let's go in!"
The two of them walked into the camp.
As he looked around at the quiet street, Fike realized that there was not a single person in the entire encampment, only empty buildings.
These buildings here were different from the ones that had been in the Donta tribe's main hub. They were very new and relatively tall.
He estimated that these buildings were about five stories tall.
This was extremely advanced for this era.

Despite having been in the primordial era for quite some time at this point, he had never seen such a strange place.
"Fike, I think what you said just now makes sense!
"Why is there no one here?"
Xiao Zhao glanced at Fike with fear.
He carefully observed the surrounding buildings on the street before answering.
"I don't know. I just felt that there was something strange here! I keep getting the sense that the buildings here should not have been able to be built with current technology!
"Moreover, since their construction is so advanced, why is there no one here?
"And I have another question. Xiao Zhao, do you know if this Fu Shou Camp is a part of the Donta Tribe?"
Xiao Zhao shook her head at Fike.
Seeing this, Fike could only give up on that train of thought.
He continued to carefully observe the buildings on the street, and soon after made an important discovery.
He found that although the buildings here looked very new and impressive on the outside, their interiors were unsightly.
The empty buildings were completely uninhabitable.
"Xiao Zhao, look, these buildings are all uninhabitable. No wonder there's no one here!"
Hearing his words, she peeked inside one of the buildings through its glass window.
It was just as Fike had said.
"Fike, if there's no one here, why are there so many buildings?"
Fike shook his head.
"Fike, Fike! Look, there are many plants here that I've never seen before!
"And what kind of stone is that? How come I've never seen it before, either!"
Fike followed the direction of Xiao Zhao's words.
As expected, there was an area, somewhat like a medicinal field, behind the camp.
Planted on it were numerous medicinal herbs that Fike had never seen before in this world.

What's more, there was also a huge magic crystal positioned beside the medicinal field, the kind that was supposedly used as a key material in forging magic staffs.
Just as he was still puzzled, Fike heard a fierce knocking sound.
The rhythm of the thuds was even, and every knock clearly sent a powerful force surging their way.
The sound was like the impact of a hammer striking metal.
Fike glanced at Xiao Zhao as he asked.
"Xiao Zhao, do you hear the knocking sound?"
Her voice was trembling as she replied.
"I... I hear it!"
Fike focused hard, trying to find the direction of the source of the metallic thuds.
After a while, his senses finally locked onto a small wooden shack not far away.
"It's there! Xiao Zhao!"
Fike pointed at the wooden cabin as he said.
Xiao Zhao swallowed hard.
"What should we do now? Should we go over and take a look?"
Fike nodded.
He really wanted to know what was inside that cabin.
If it was a person, he wanted to ask what relationship they had with this camp.
'Could it be that everything here was created by that person?'
Fike wondered.
Sharing a perturbed mood, Fike and Xiao Zhao came to the front cabin and knocked on the door.
"Hello! Is anyone here?"
Soon, the door was opened by a blue-haired young man dressed like Fike.
The man gazed at two newcomers in surprise.
"You could actually break the enchantment I set here?"
"Enchantment?"
Fike and Xiao Zhao asked in unison.
"What enchantment?"
"The hidden barrier I set up outside this camp! How did you break it?"
The blue-haired man answered.
Fike, clearly confused by the blue-haired man's words, responded.
"When we came in, we didn't feel any resistance at all."
"So you just came in like that?"
The blue-haired man asked.
Fike and Xiao Zhao nodded.
The blue-haired man flew into a somewhat of a craze.
"Could it be that there's something wrong with my enchantment? It can't be! The design should have been very successful this time!"
Looking at the strange man in front of him, Fike opened his mouth to bring him back to earth.
"Hello, my name is Fike, and this is Xiao Zhao. Are you a resident here?"
The man nodded before continuing.
"You can say that, but I'm the only one here!"
"You're the only one here?"
Xiao Zhao repeated in disbelief.
"That's right, I'm the only one here! Because everything here was created by me!"
"Oh right, hello! I forgot to introduce myself! My name is Eddie Moss!"
Eddie Moss reached out his hand, which Fike shook casually.
"Have you always lived here alone?"
Fike asked.
"More or less. I've been here for five years! That's why so many buildings have been built."
"Did you think up all of this yourself? Even their designs?"
Fike asked.
Edith nodded with a smile.
"How is it? Isn't it genius?
"I bet there's no other person in the world who could design such great inventions!"

The Depths of Magic
Synopsis It's the year 2052 and the release of the new next-generation full-dive VRMMO game called The Depths of Magic is hitting the world by storm. The game's technology will surpass all other games before it and shock the masses. Hector who goes by the name Locke inside the game is an experienced player of the genre. He is looking to continue his goal of enjoying gaming as well as the competition that goes along with competing for the top ranking spots. Novel Summary The Depths of Magic is a LitRPG novel focused on a Fantasy VRMMO setting. This is not a harem novel. In-Game systems The Depths of Magic features state-of-the-art technology never before seen in Hector's world. The key system the novel will bring up often is the Second Brain. The Second Brain system is more like a guidance AI for the players in the game that acts as if you had a second brain assisting your every action. How much guidance this AI will give is based on its experience or mastery skills a player will receive in the game. The guidance is seamless to a point where a player won't even realize they are being assisted, it's will feel like what they are doing is something they could always do. However, once they leave the game it will become quite apparent that they were receiving heavy guidance. The purpose of this system in a writing sense is to explain why a player can realistically become more powerful, more agile, or more skilled than they would otherwise be able to as a human. To give an example if someone could move faster than a bullet, how would a normal human brain be able to perceive and control this movement properly. Or how could a player who has never held a sword before become as experienced as someone who has trained with the sword all their lives? The magic system will be another focus of this novel. I don't want to spoil anything here but it should be an interesting one. The hope is that the system I have made will spark discussion between the readers on what combinations will do what. I already have most of it, but it will be fun to read as the author. Side notes My general focus for this novel is to attempt to make the in-game systems make sense. To give a vague example I have read a lot of novels of this genre and some have the habit of just creating such powerful items that it just breaks the system, and somehow the MC keeps finding challenging situations even with those items. What tends to happen when I read a novel like this I just ignore the stats of the items he is getting because the numbers don't even matter anymore. Release schedule: The chapter release schedule due to real-life complications is to release as I write them. Patreon setup: 1 chapter early release/discord access. Free content up to the current chapter includes an excel sheet that contains Locke's current stats at the end of the chapter. This is extra information for those that are interested.
