Seeing the collapsed Rowan, everyone in the arena burst into an endless round of applause, completely amazed by Fike's demonstration of strength.
Even the professors hadn't expected for Fike to be able to use such a powerful killing move.
Rowan struggled to speak before muttering to Fike in a low voice.
"Congratulations, Fike. I...I've lost."
After that, he passed out completely.
After a ten second countdown by the referee, the results were announced.
"Contestant Rowan has lost his ability to fight!
"The champion of this year's freshmen trial has been decided!
"That champion is!
"From Mage Class 2 of the Spell School!
"Fike!"
Even before the referee had finished speaking, the entire stadium had erupted into howls of applause and cheers that were even more intense than before.
"Fike! The Pride of the Spell School! The Pride of Yogmo Academy!"
"Lord Fike! The champion of the freshmen trial!"
Everyone was cheering Fike's name.
However, Fike did not immerse himself unnecessarily in the endless high and glory of victory.
Instead, he helped his unconscious opponent up before beginning to use healing spells to heal Rowan's wounds.
"It seems that this child is not only powerful, but also has a kind heart!"
Hagrid whispered to Tiburton.
"Yes, Hagrid, don't you feel that this child not only has your shadow, but his style of doing things is also very similar to that person?"
Tiburton replied.
"You mean our little junior who's disappeared for many years?"
"That's right! That junior has been gone for so many years, and what's more, he's always been an enemy of the Heavenly King's Palace. I don't even know if he's still alive."
"The heavens have their own arrangements for life and death!"
Hagrid responded with a chuckle.
"Let's go, Tiburton. We have to give these children their awards!"

...
Once the commotion had calmed down, Fike, Rowan, and Serena walked over to the center of the trial arena, where the host and the two principals had been waiting.
Once they had taken their positions, the host announced with glee.
"Now, we will give out the awards for the victors of this year's freshmen trial."
"First up is Serena, who has seized herself the third place position!"
A female teacher walked up with a bronze box which she handed over to Serena.
Serena took it reluctantly, but she still managed to squeeze out a slight smile.
"Next, the runner-up of the freshmen trial! Rowan!"
A male professor who held a silver box handed it to Rowan.
Although Rowan had lost the finals, after his battle, he had been completely convinced of Fike's power.
"Finally!
"The award for the first place of this year's freshmen trial!"
"Let us congratulate the one and only, Fike!"
Fike watched as Cisco walked toward him with a huge box that looked to be made of gold.
"Congratulations, Fike! You'll definitely like this!"
As Cisco handed the prize over to him, Serena stared longingly at the golden box.
Fike expressed his gratitude to Cisco as he took it from his hands.
After the top three had been awarded accordingly, the host continued.
"In a week's time, these top three contenders will follow our professors to various places to investigate and hunt Exotic Beasts."
The host changed the topic with a smile.
"Although everyone may be thinking that this would be dangerous, these Exotic Beasts are simply part of the rewards!
"What they may gain out of it may be even more generous than the rewards in their hands right now!
"What's more, the qualifications of these contenders to take part in this Exotic Beast investigation is definitely unprecedented! Nevertheless, please be diligent in your cultivation after you go back today!"

Hearing these words, Fike lost himself in thought.
"I wonder where we'll be going for this Exotic Beast investigation..."
Fike mumbled to himself.
"Don't worry! They will only be stronger than me! Those monsters can't be weaker than me!"
Rowan said to Fike.
Fike's impression of him had improved significantly after their battle, and he nodded at Rowan.
Rowan also added on.
"Kid, Let's fight a few more times when we have the time!"
...
After the ceremonies finally came to an end, Fike finally managed to escape.
Hiding himself from everyone's sight, he took his golden box and rushed toward the dormitories.
Suddenly, a voice sounded behind him.
"Fike, where are you going in such a hurry?"
Fike turned around. The person who spoke was Lan Xi, and behind her stood Sertia and Molly.
Realizing that it was only the three of them, he felt slightly relieved.
"I have to find a place where no one's around, I want to see what the reward is!"
"Then why don't you follow me to the Romon Auction? It'd be absolutely safe there!"
Lan Xi suggested happily.
Fike mulled over the offer before seemingly remembering something.
"Okay... I don't know why, but I feel that someone in this school is coveting the reward in my hands, so I'll go to your place!"
Seeing that Fike had agreed to her suggestion, Lan Xi said excitedly.
"Sure, sure! But do you want the two of them to come along?"
Fike suddenly remembered that there were still two more people around with them.
His gaze shifted from Sertia to Senior Molly.
"Sure, let's go together!"
Sertia and Molly smiled delightedly after hearing this.
However, truthfully, Sertia still had quite a lot of possessiveness in her heart.
In the past, she had figured she would have to compete with Molly, and now Lan Xi had appeared in the equation.
Regardless, she wasn't too worried. She still believed that Fike loved her more.
The group immediately set off to the Romon Auction.
Unbeknownst to them, however, right behind them was a mysterious figure who trailed them closely.
If anyone had looked carefully, this person was actually the owner of the Romon Restaurant, who had been one of the distinguished guests invited to the venue today.
What Fike wouldn't have realized regardless, however, was that this owner was actually the black-robed man that Serena had mentioned before.
Soon, everyone had arrived at the auction house of the Romon Auction.
As it was still morning, there weren't many people at the usually busy venue.
"Let's go." Lan Xi led the way. "Let me take you to my room, it's safer there."
She guided everyone to her room.
As she opened the door, a huge bed greeted Fike's eyes in a room filled with gorgeous decorations.
At this moment, Chi-Chi walked in as well.
"Lord Fike, you're here?"
Everyone turned to look at the newcomer before realizing that she was a beastgirl.
Sertia was unmoving as her gaze remained on Chi-Chi for a long time.
She thought to herself silently.
'Fike, Fike... Just how many good girl friends do you have?'

He slowly backs up until his back is against the wall like my own, "You're..my neighbor?" He points to my door and I nod my head quickly. He hums softly, "You been here a while?" He asks and I nod my head once again. He chuckles, "Ya head hurt?" I nod again but stop as he laughs softly, "I-I mean.. no.. it doesn't." My cheeks burn red as I look at my shoes, "I-It doesn't hurt.." I repeat like a dummy and listen to him clear his throat, "So do you actually live there or was it bull?" He teased, making a giggle slip past my lips. I look away to the floor again, "I-I like big shirts... a lot." I mumble softly and he nods his head, "Hol' up." He puts his box down before walking over to one of the grey bins. I nosily watch as he pulls out a big grey sweatshirt, "Here." He holds it out for me to take and I stare at him with wide eyes, "F-For me?" I hesitantly grab the soft fabric as he chuckles, "Nah for ya mom." I puff my cheeks a little and give him a small glare, "Hush." He leans back against the wall and shakes his head, "It's cold out. You should put it on." ____________________________She was a shy girl from the city with no spine and a list of problems so long that it could touch the floor and roll off her shoes.
