MMORPG: I Can See Hidden Information Chapter 97

At this moment, the muscles on Truman's body were clearly expanding.
His veins popped up as they slithered across his skin, making them become clearly visible.
Truman's skin had suddenly turned a dark blue color.
"Kid, watch carefully, this is my ultimate attack!"
At the same time, the colossal hammer in his hands had also seemed to have been influenced by the change as its color gradually shifted as well.
A strong wind blew straight into Fike's face again, heralding the coming impact.
However, Fike didn't dodge this time. Instead, he stood unmoving without budging.
Just as the hammer had been about to blast down directly onto his head...
Fike suddenly reached out an arm upwards, stopping the blow in its tracks and holding up the hammer.
Witnessing this, not only Truman, but the students in the stands and even the teachers were aghast.
On the rostrum, everyone exclaimed in unison.
"What kind of power is Fike using? He can actually withstand the blow from that huge hammer? That thing weighs almost 10,000 pounds!"
Cisco was the first to cry out.
"It seems that boy has quite a few secrets!"
"Yeah! First, he can use dual-class spells, then he has that magic sword, and now, he can directly receive that powerful impact. He's too terrifying!"
Chambers agreed loudly.
Truman stared at his opponent in shock.
"This... this... What's going on? How did you withstand that?"
Fike didn't answer.
This time, he actually put away his Hermes' Curse before saying loudly, "I initially thought that you'd have some strength, but compared to all the students of the Spell School I've fought, you don't even have half their power!"
Before he finished his sentence, his free hand had clenched into a fist.
An uppercut was directed straight into Truman's face.
With no time to dodge the sudden unexpected blow, Truman stumbled and fell heavily to the side.

Hearing Fike's bold words, the students and even the teachers in the stands of the Spell School burst out in resonance.
"The Spell School is invincible! Fike will teach him a good lesson!"
"Long live Fike! Hurry up and send this rude weirdo back to the 40th position!"
The students in the Spell School had been greatly encouraged.
Even those who had once looked down on Fike were caught up in the spirit of the moment.
Senior Molly, who was in the stands as well, was moved as she watched along, naturally thinking that Fike was swearing sovereignty over Truman for her.
"It seems that Fike still has me in his heart!"
Molly whispered infatuatedly.
Truman couldn't stand up for quite a while after receiving the heavy blow.
On the rostrum of the Forging School, it was a rare occasion as Tegpus had actually appeared in a public setting.
He was here not only because of his responsibilities as a professor of the Forging School, but also because he actually cared about the qualifiers this time.
These teachers had actually known earlier on about the matches that would be taking place in today's competition.
Finding out that Fike was just so happening to be going against the number one of the Forging School, Truman, Tegpus couldn't help but be a little curious.
"Looks like the result of this match won't be suspenseful!"
Tegpus said softly as he turned around and left.
Finally, Truman managed to get up with some difficulty.
However, he had barely any strength remaining to lift his giant hammer again.
"Fike!"
Truman roared, enraged.
"I'll tear you into pieces!"
As the number one of the Forging School, Truman represented the honor of all the freshmen among his entire school.
He also knew that he could not lose this match.

The brute charged toward Fike with great difficulty.
However, he did not have his giant hammer in hand anymore.
He raised his fist, smashing it fiercely onto Fike.
Yet Fike did not have any intention of dodging or fighting back.
A heavy blow landed cleanly on top of Fike's head.
Nevertheless, as far as the eye could see, not only was Fike uninjured, Truman was now shaking his hand in pain.
Raising his head nonchalantly, Fike addressed his opponent.
"Give up, Truman. Even if you're at your peak, you could've never beaten me!"
Prompted by his words, Truman stubbornly threw a second punch at Fike.
This time, Fike caught the fist, and Truman was unable to struggle out of his grip.
Fike slowly and calmly twisted the hand in his grasp, sending an intense burst of pain shooting up from the giant's hand through to his entire body.
Truman cried out in pain.
Without letting him recover, Fike suddenly launched himself into the air before slamming down, landing a heavy punch ruthlessly onto Truman's face.
"This is to teach you not to be too arrogant!"
Immediately after, a second punch followed.
"This one is to tell you not to be arrogant at all!"
Truman fell to the ground, and Fike rode atop his hulking body as he crashed down, mercilessly throwing a third punch.
"And this one is to assure you that Senior Molly would absolutely never allow you to lay your hands on her!"
Hearing his words, Molly's face turned red.
Meanwhile, the other female students beside her had started to jeer.
"Not bad, Molly. Fike has only been here for a while and you've already taken him down!"
"That's right, Molly, tell us quickly! How far have you progressed?"
Molly blushed and lowered her head as she muttered softly.
"How is that possible? Fike is only helping me deal with some of the stalkers around me. We are not in the kind of relationship you think!"
Hearing this, the other girls teased.
"Yo yo yo, if that's all there is to it, why didn't you deal with the biggest stalker around you yourself?"
Molly blushed even more and could only remain silent.
In the arena, Truman was already unconscious.
Fike finally stood up from his body.
The host himself was still hypnotised by the electric atmosphere that had been in the air as Fike landed blow after blow, and was unable to realize that the match was already over.
Finally coming back to his senses, the host quickly announced.
"Congratulations to Fike of the Spell School for advancing to the top 20s of the freshmen trial!"
As soon as the voice of the host faded, the entire arena erupted into waves of applause once again.
"Fike is too strong! My Prince Charming!"
"Fike has really brought glory to our Spell School!"
The teachers on the rostrum of the Spell School once again gazed down at the silver-haired youth with looks of approval.
"Looks like the name of our Spell School will soon spread throughout the entire Yogmo Academy!"
Cisco beamed proudly.
"What Yogmo Academy? I think it's more like the entire Royal City of Romon!"
Chambers retorted.
However, what nobody expected was that in the next few months, Fike's name would be resounding throughout the entirety of the world of Miracle itself.
The radiance of the name would overshadow even the stature that Mike had held in the past.
Very soon, Fike's current peaceful lifestyle would no longer be so untroubled.

The Edge of Endless
Due to some unforseen and significant life events, this story will be on hiatus for a time. Reborn into a strange but familiar world, Alex makes it his mission to uncover the mysteries of governments, gods, and the arcane realm known only (and inaccurately) as the Unending Depths. Slowly but surely, he grows in ability and meets new and interesting people. tEoE is an epic fantasy LitRPG with a focus on plot, writing, and hopefully original twists on the standard formula of 'MC picks cool class, levels up'. Give it a read if any of the following appeals to you: > 3000-5000 words per chapter, chapters released at least once per week, usually several times. Expect good grammar. > Story focus on illusions, secrets, and traps (along with the usual combat and character stuff). > Progression fantasy, but one where progress is meant to feel earned, moderately paced, and reasonable. Some advantages, but not big, unfair ones. > If a random reader can work out that putting a big rock in a bag of holding, lifting it, and then dropping the rock is free energy, then so could an adventurer who's owned a bag of holding for twenty years. Side characters have brains too. > Blue boxes! Levels! [Classes]! [Skills]! Loot! > No uncomfortable sexist undertones. Ambivalent about including relationships. Definitely no harems. There are a number of arcs planned and this will be ongoing for some time. I am very appreciative of the kind reviews and comments left so far.
