Chapter 55: Immortal Fike’s Debut
Translator: EndlessFantasy Translation Editor: EndlessFantasy Translation
Fike stood perched on a treetop, carefully observing the situation and waiting for information about the Demon Prince-tier Exotic Beast.
At this moment, the hidden information happened to send out a notification.

Fike was stunned as he stared at the words before him.
…
Earth.
Human headquarters.
Miracle Development Office.
“Director! The game has encountered a problem again!”

“Sally, I see it too. This time, an ultimate Exotic Beast has appeared that should have only appeared later.”
“Director, what should we do? The system has detected that if the players who are still in Miracle Forest die… They will lose the ability to respawn!”
“I don’t know either, Sally. We can only pray that there are no Earth players in Miracle Forest.”
[System detection: A huge black dungeon is being automatically generated. The Beast Tower has been automatically generated. Warning! Warning! Warning! The memories of all NPCs in Miracle have been tampered with!]
…
The Demon Prince-tier Exotic Beast roared into the sky, emitting a sound that was loud enough to shatter mountains and flood rivers.
The gravity of the situation had finally dawned upon Fike.
He patted himself on the cheek.
“Am I really going to die here this time?”
The Exotic Beast suddenly stopped roaring before turning to glare at him.
In an instant, he felt the temperature around him rising rapidly, and noticed that every plant within a few miles of him was slowly melting.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
A vast circular battlefield formed naturally around Miracle Forest, clearing the land of any cover Fike could’ve used to hide.
“This is bad!”
In his hesitation, the entire world suddenly turned blindingly bright.
A blazing light consumed most living creatures in the forest.
Raising his head, Fike saw a new sun appear in the sky, slowly falling toward his position, picking up speed as it did.
The bats and crows in the sky whimpered as they turned to ashes.
‘Could this be Hellfire? The power of a Demon Prince-tier Exotic Beast is truly terrifying.’
Fike made a break for it, dashing away from the falling sun as fast as he could.

However, the Demon Prince-tier Exotic Beast wouldn’t be so foolish as to let him escape so easily.
It raised one foot before stomping fiercely onto the already shattered ground.
Along the direction he stomped, a huge crack quickly spread forward.
It continued to extend, and trailing behind it as the ground caved in, a ravine was forming, splitting the entire Miracle Forest in half.
Just as Fike had been about to escape from the point of impact, the sudden appearance of the crevice cut off his retreat.
‘What should I do?’
Even as he tried to remain calm, he could not think of a solution at the moment.
The sun was getting closer and closer, and would crash into the ground at any moment.
In his desperation, Fike suddenly had a flash of inspiration.
‘Looks like this is the only way.’
Faster than anything he’d ever done in his life, he opened his backpack and quickly took out the immortal pill that Zhao Ruoxian had given him.
Boom!
A faint aurora shimmered in Miracle Forest as the sun finally hit the ground.
In an instant, a tremor could be felt reverberating throughout the entire world of Miracle.
A series of violent explosions resounded through the various mountains and rivers.
The ground that the sun passed through was burnt to ashes the second it came into contact with it.
Countless mountains, rivers, and vegetation in the distance were annihilated instantaneously, their shattered fragments shooting off in all directions and smashing into their surroundings.
That scene was simply like an apocalypse, a meteor falling from the sky.
Boom!
As the fallout of the explosion cleared…
The entire battlefield had collapsed hundreds of meters into the earth.
The canyon that the Demon Prince-tier Exotic Beast had caused to split apart the ground was now a steep cliff face.
Thick smoke and dust filled everything around. As they dispersed, a figure gradually appeared from the ruins, surrounded by pulsing waves of faint jade-red light.
It was Fike.
His silver hair had been stained blood-red.
His shirt had been torn to shreds, exposing his clearly defined, muscular body.
From his eyes down to his ribs, two red streams of mystical patterns flickered.
His chest and back were engraved with countless ancient Eastern characters, which seemed to be a kind of immortal spell.
Fike’s feet were suspended in the air, and he gradually ascended upwards.
The Demon Prince-tier Exotic Beast didn’t think much of all this as it rushed recklessly toward Fike.
The man simply raised a hand in response. A barrage of crimson red undercurrents rushed up to the Exotic Beast from below, at a speed so fast that only gods could have dodged it.
The creature took the attack head-on as the dark tide hit its left arm.

In an instant, the arm had been corroded by the burgundy surge, leaving behind a gash that looked like the bite of a ferocious beast.
The Demon Prince-tier Exotic Beast cried out in pain.
Fike’s expression was one of indifference.
“Noisy bug… Die!”

Re-Ordaining of the Chosen
Alea cheerfully hummed as she descended the steps, brimming in upbeat while her colleague, Quarren Leos, shot her a look of skepticism. “So… were you right about him?” he asked doubtfully. She came to a stop for a moment, her humming falling silent before she shook her head, waving her medium length light-blonde hair from side to side. “I was wrong about him.” Quarren raised an eyebrow in confusion at the convoluted response.“But you seem quite happy?” he asked again. “Because I am. But I was wrong about him. He was… so much more than I ever expected.” Alea looked at the sky overhead with a smile. “That boy… no, that man, is amazing. I firmly believe he will come to stand on top of any adversary he faces. He is destined. He is Chosen.” Quarren snorted as he stepped past, shaking his head. “Okay. Each to their own beliefs but you’re sounding like a nutjob. That skinny twig? Everyone calls him a cripple, you know,” he shook his head.“Rumours are always false, Leos,” Alea answered with a disapproving shake of her head. “You wouldn’t know. He is so, so much more.” “I saw him with my own two eyes. I didn’t see anything redeeming,” Quarren rebutted. “Well…” Alea chuckled. “You haven’t seen what I’ve seen.” In the year 917 of the Imperial Calendar, the Great War had just ended between dozens of nations. All were ecstatic when the current generation of the two Archduchy's, after the war, agreed to let their children wed. The excitement was short-lived however when the Aerianne Princess proved to be a dragoness among men but the Kanarian Prince was worse than even mediocre. The Prince disappeared and the wedding was shortly forgotten as society lived on. Until one day the Young Heir of Kanaria returned to Farrien a changed man, bringing demise with him. Follow the story of the Chosen ordained by the Goddess of Time as he returns to the past to right his wrongs and set things back straight again!
