Chapter 47: Mage Mike? Priest Fike!
Translator: EndlessFantasy Translation Editor: EndlessFantasy Translation
Mike walked out of the Heavenly Palace with his hands behind his back. In them was the most powerful arcanum in the realm.
Zhao Ruoxian was already waiting for him outside, standing not far away from the Heavenly Palace.
“I see that you seem to have obtained a good cultivation technique.”
Mike smiled confidently.
“Of course!”
Seeing that there were no glaring changes to Mike’s behavior as compared to before, the worry in her heart lightened.
“Quick, let me see which cultivation technique you’ve chosen.”
Stretching out his hands from behind his back, Mike revealed the Celestial Arcanum before Zhao Ruoxian.
Her brows furrowed, and her expression suddenly shifted.
“How did you… How did you get this book?
“Do you know how terrifying this cultivation technique is?
“Quickly put it back. I’ll allow you to choose another one! Quick! Go!”
Mike looked at Zhao Ruoxian, who was now wearing a grave expression, before speaking confidently.
“I’ve roughly understood the origin of this cultivation technique. I also know a lot about Gu Wuya…”
Seeing that Zhao Ruoxian was about to speak, Mike raised his hand, interjecting.
“Hold on, I understand your concerns very well. If I say that I’ve found a way to eliminate the evil god’s consciousness that resides in this book, will you believe me?”
Zhao Ruoxian listened to Mike’s self-assured words in disbelief.
“How is that possible? Do you know how harmful the evil god’s consciousness is to the gods? Even the gods can’t withstand its power, let alone an ordinary Earth person like you…”
Noticing Zhao Ruoxian’s 180-degree change in attitude, losing the typical arrogance of a god, Mike suddenly asked in return.
“Do you still remember what happened in the past? Why do you want me to help you find the god of creation, Ogallas?”

Upon hearing Mike’s words, Zhao Ruoxian’s head started to hurt.
Hurriedly putting her wrist to her forehead, her expression abruptly shifted to one of fear.
“No, don’t… Don’t do this… no!”
Seeing Zhao Ruoxian’s sudden shift in temperament, Mike quickly changed the topic.
“Besides that, do you know how to release these seals of yours?”
Zhao Ruoxian’s torturous thoughts were dispelled after hearing Mike’s new question.
“Your current level is still too low, and your strength too weak. You are still unqualified to open the second seal.
“After returning to the real world, continue to head north. After passing through a forest, you will arrive at the northern royal city of Romon. In the royal city, there is an academy called Jorge Mo.
“The key to improving your level and strength lies there.”
“Oh right, Earth child, although I do not have the full picture, some fragments of my memory have been revealed. When I see Ogallas, I’m sure all the answers will be revealed.”
Mike looked at Zhao Ruoxian, speechless.
“Who told you this?”
“My consciousness has always been precise.”
Shocked, Mike could only respond with a smile.
“Earthling, although I am not fully at ease with you cultivating the Celestial Arcanum, since you’ve said that you have a solution, I will believe you for now. Don’t die on your way to cultivation. I have waited thousands of years to meet a living person. Live on for me, understand?”
‘Got it, old fairy!’
Mike thought to himself. Although this Zhao Ruoxian looked young, her actual age was already thousands of years old. It was inevitable that she would be a little wishy-washy when she spoke.
He smiled to himself at the thought.
“Earth child, why are you smiling so foolishly? It’s getting late. You should hurry back to the real world. Don’t forget what I’ve said to you!”

With a wave of her hand, Zhao Ruoxian vanished before Mike, sending him back to the real world.
As he stared at the broken body of the strange beast in front of him, clutching the Celestial Arcanum in his hand, Mike was sure that everything he had just seen was real.
He had mastered the mind transfer technique. The moment he returned to the real world, the first thing he wanted to do was to immediately activate the spell and see just how potent the power of this technique was.
Mike activated it, silently chanting the incantation of the mind transfer technique in his heart.
Closing his eyes, he witnessed the creation of a unique life form in the spiritual world.
Its appearance was exactly the same as that of a human, but it was rather blurry.
He continued to silently recite the final chant of the spell.
The life form’s appearance grew clearer and clearer, exactly according to the image he had in mind.
Soon, a handsome youth with flowing silver hair stood before Mike.
Mike thought to himself, ‘I’ve caused a lot of trouble with my name. Now, I can create a brand new alias. I can’t use the name Mike this time.
‘I need a new name, uh… Mike… fake name… Fike! That’s a good name… Then I’ll be called Fike from now on!
‘Now for the last step.’
Mike yelled excitedly in his heart, ‘Mind transference, switch!’
…
Returning to the real world, Mike opened his eyes.
Through the reflection of a longsword laying on the ground, Mike noticed that his appearance had completely changed into that of the life form’s.
‘In the future, Mike will no longer appear. In his place will be me, Fike! The name Mike has become too dangerous.’

As Fike gazed at the virtual selection menu, he realized that there seemed to be many more class choices than before.
‘Berserker, Archer, Priest… Hmm? There’s a priest class?’
[Class description: Priest. Has extremely strong recovery abilities. The only class that doesn’t require energy replenishment. Although priests are unlikely to die in battle, priests are unable to deal any physical or magic damage to the enemy. Please choose wisely.]
‘This class doesn’t need energy regeneration? How sick is that?’
‘Oh right, the life form created using the mind transfer technique retains all the attributes of the original cultivator. Does that mean that my previous mage class can be transplanted into this body?’
Opening his data panel, he quickly flipped through it.
Following this, Fike sneered abruptly.
“As expected! Alright, I’ve decided!
“I choose to become a Priest!”
[Congratulations on choosing Priest. The system is automatically selecting a class badge that matches your talent.]
[Selection successful! Congratulations on obtaining a Master class badge! ]
[You have mastered Healing (master)]
[You have mastered Alchemy (master)]
[You have mastered Divine Ascension (master)]
[System notification: Your class has been selected, and all skills have been mastered. Welcome, Player Fike, to Miracle!]

She’s content to keep her head down while working for the Mercenary Guild, but a new contract arrives that threatens to drag her back to a past she wants nothing to do with. Haunted by her own thoughts and a crow that never seems to shut up, Fena is caught between confronting her past and preventing it from ever happening again. Indigo is alone. Her adopted mother is gone, and the witch that never gets her pronouns right is currently the most popular researcher at the Royal Academy. Worse still, she suddenly finds herself with shoes to fill that are so enormous they’re more like a swimming pool, while that same witch flaunts a research project that could get them all killed. With the expectations of her entire sect weighing on her like a lead weight, will Indigo sink or swim? Can she stop the White Witch’s project before it’s too late? Or will the twisted politics of the Royal Academy prove too much? This is my first published story, so hopefully it goes well! A Hunt Upon Wings of Shadows
Lianne has spent the last few years of her life as a nomadic monster-hunter, aimlessly taking jobs and disappearing without a trace. Her innately high ether reserves are the only thing that’s keeping her alive. After a painful yet successful contract, she receives an offer to hunt a peculiar beast from a mysterious man who- much to her dismay- pairs her with a man by the name of Sirius, a skilled swordsman with too much empathy to give out. At the same time, inside the impossibly tall walls of the divine city, a group of soldiers including a naive yet powerful girl by the name of Felicia, an exemplar soldier named Raynauld, and a scarred and aloof woman named Maria prepare to head out on a mission to deliver justice to a deserter who is reported to be in a large town far outside the lush interior of the city. However, the two groups will find that their paths will intertwine, and painful memories will push them against each other at every turn, with new monsters emerging from the shadows to pick each of them apart piece by piece. ************************** Alright, so this is the first book I've posted here, and I've been sitting on this idea for a long while. I'm open to any pieces of criticism, and I would be glad to receive tips and advice. Enjoy! Normally, new chapters come out Saturday nights, sometimes double uploads if there's a short chapter or if I feel like it. That's subject to change if I run out of the current backlog. Second note, this is the first draft, and some things (like a few characters) are going to be cut. It's still going to be the same storyline, but keep that in mind.
