Hidden Marriage With My Imperfect CEO Chapter 685

"They were just kidding. You didn't have to say it that way, sir," Della said carefully.
Raka immediately glared at her. "Now everyone thinks of you as my lover! Have you never read the news?" He said irritably.
Della smiled awkwardly, "I just feel, being my lover makes you suffer a lot. I am sorry."
She didn't dare to go against what Raka said. Winda's current medical expenses had not been paid, so she could only wait for Raka to pay it. Della was afraid that Raka would refuse to pay the fee if she continued to defy what he said.
"If you know it's troublesome for me, don't look for trouble. When you are outside the house, never let people humiliate you like that. If you are insulted, my good name will also be tarnished," said Raka.
Della frowned when she heard Raka's words. But in the end, she decided to nod and comply.
Once back home, Della saw someone coming with a few pairs of women's dresses. Not only one person, there were also several people behind her carrying make-up equipment.
"I'm taking her to the Christmas party tonight. Please help choose clothes for her," Raka said to the stylist.
Della saw the beautiful clothes and felt her smile stiffen. It looked like Raka really wanted to take her as a display at the party that he even brought a stylist to the house.
The stylist picked out a red dress and then gave it to Della, "Try this one, miss."
Della walked over to the woman and whispered, "How long do I need to get ready?" Every now and then she would glance at Raka anxiously.
"I'll give you an hour. Hurry up!" After that, Raka immediately came out.
Della saw that it was raining outside. She really liked rain, because for her, the sound of rain could cover other voices. The sound of screaming, scolding, and swearing…

But right now, she didn't have time to admire the rain. She must change clothes immediately.
A few moments later, Della came down with her new dress. The stylist who chose the dress was very satisfied. "Miss, your skin is very fair. Red is perfect for you. But it looks like the skirt is a little too big," she said.
The bottom of the dress looks a little too big and too long. Even though she had chosen the smallest size, the shirt still didn't fit her body. It looked like Della was too thin.
"How about I try something else?" Della asked.
The stylist shook her head. No other clothes had any size smaller than that. "Miss, your body is too thin. Looks like we should stitch the dress a little. Now, let's do your makeup for the meantime."
Della took off the dress and someone immediately sewed it on the spot.
The people Raka chose to do her makeup were really great. The stylist immediately sewed it up and repaired it at a very high speed.
She did it with her own hands, without the help of machines and the result was very neat and satisfying.
It only took half an hour and Della was ready with an elegant make-up.
The stylist nodded with great satisfaction. Even Della was surprised when she saw herself in the mirror. "So beautiful," the stylist said, clapping her hands.
This wasn't the first time Della has attended a party. But the stylists hired by her mother used to paint her face with thick makeup and made her wear sexy clothes.
It was different from the stylist that Raka chose. The stylist chose clothes and makeup that matched Della's personality, and made her look even more radiant.
Della was back in her dress and this time, it was just the right length, right at her knees.
Since they were running out of time, the stylist only smoothed Della's hair into a cute Korean bun.

When entering the family room, Raka's clothes looked a little wet from the drizzle. He entered carrying a basket of bergamot fruit.
"Sir, Miss Della has finished preparing. How is the result?" The stylist moved aside so Raka could see Della.
Della turned a little embarrassed and looked at Raka with a sweet smile.
Seeing Della in front of him, Raka felt his breath was taken away. He seemed to forget how to breathe.
"Sir, since we don't have enough time, her hair..."
"It's okay. She looks good," Raka put the basket he was carrying on the table.
He felt Della's makeup looked simple, but still elegant and exuded her own beauty, like a tiny white flower but beautiful to look at. The little flower he wanted to protect. And the more Raka saw her, the more he remembered Anya a few years ago.
A raging feeling started to build inside him.
Raka and Della arrived at Anya's house a little late, they came right after dinner time.
"Sorry I'm late. It was raining heavy and I couldn't drive fast. Look what I brought for you," Raka came carrying a basket filled with bergamot.
Aiden saw the basket and glanced at Anya, just as Anya was looking at him. Then they smiled at each other.
"I also have a bergamot tree, but I picked the fruit a few months ago. You came at the right time," Anya accepted the basket with a smile and gave it to Hana.
"Raka, don't you want to introduce your partner?" Nico looked at Della with a look of displeasure.
"Hello, I'm Della. Merry Christmas everyone," Della stepped forward, handing Anya a bottle of red wine.
Anya accepted it and gave it to one of the servants so that it could be opened immediately. "Thank you for taking the trouble to bring gifts,"
Nadine also greeted Della and helped her not to be too awkward when she met new people. "Hello. Let me keep your jacket."
Della looked at Raka beside her, but the man was just silent.
She was actually reluctant to take off her jacket. She saw Anya also wearing a red skirt that was quite similar to her. Even though the style was different, the color was still the same.
She felt bad and became even more awkward.
"We're not going home early. Just take off your jacket," Raka took the initiative to help Della take off her jacket. But he finally understood her reluctance after she took it off.
Anya and Della were both wearing red dresses.
The difference in their dresses was on the neck. Anya's dress had a V-neck model, while Della's dress has a curved neck.
But since the colors were both bright red, the dress looked so similar.
The same red dress of a different style, worn by two different women.
Anya in her red dress looked very charming. Especially after giving birth, her maternal aura radiated even more.
On the other hand, Della looked much fresher and more cheerful.
Even though they wore similar clothes, they each had their own uniqueness.
"Forgive me. I didn't know you were wearing a red dress today. Maybe it's better for me to change my clothes first," Della saw everyone's eyes on her. She immediately lowered her head in shame and apologized.
"No need to speak formally like that. Just relax. Today is Christmas, of course red is perfect for parties like this. No need to change!" Anya approached Della and took her hand as if they were close friends. "Look. We are like sisters."
"Auntie, Della is Harris' sister. You two can't be sisters. She should have called you aunt too," Nadine looked serious when it came to her fiancé.

The Second Coming of Fate [A High Fantasy Story]
Prologue Arc: The Day That Begins Your Fate - COMPLETED Story Arc 1: Chaos in the Lamorian Kingdom - ONGOING Please consider following/leaving a rating. I plan to turn this into a long lasting series, and it would really mean a whole lot to me. :) ----- Having succumb to amnesia, Galvin one day appears in the Grand Forest east of the capital kingdom Lamora. For the next two months, he lives a perfectly carefree yet boring life until one fateful day changed everything. Encountering all sorts of characters and dealing with all sorts of shenanigans, Galvin begins to experience visions of what appears to be the future. With this newfound power in a world full of magic, yet plagued with war, discrimination, and brutality, will Galvin be able to change fate…or die trying? ----- Do you like stories where the protagonist doesn't start out strong and is deeply character driven (with a LOT of inner monologues)? A story that has its fair share of comedic and dark moments? Well then you've come to the right place! However, if you're looking for LitRPG mechanics, then unfortunately, this story doesn't contain too many of them. The dynamics of the story will be based on real life physics and mechanics (with a bit of magic of course!) Also, I delve deeply into a lot of disturbing topics, so readers do be warned. However, if any of this sounds interesting to you, then please come by and give my story a read. ----- Expect releases as soon as possible (which is like 4 - 10 days). Just know that I'm writing this story as it progresses, so a lot of first drafts are to be expected. :D

Breaking Horizons: Book 1: Snared Origins
Many want to learn things from a story, while others only want fast-paced wonders. We are human and we like to dream, we are alive and we want to feel. Don’t wander outside before knowing the inside. Even if this is slow, it gives you the reader, things to behold. This is a story but also knowledge. It isn’t fast or entertaining but makes you wonder. Everything starts from something unknown, we all want to know the untold. However, can you persevere if something starts being boring? Shouldn’t entertainment start from something unexciting? Open a door to what you might know or not. Learn to dream in my unhealthy abode. Start from the garbage since that’s the place where I belong. Welcome to Raccoon’s abode. Breaking Horizons: Breaching the Fourth Dimension. A slow story that will take you on a ride towards the unknown. PS: Will make things clear here. The actual main character is a human, the raccoon is a pet for the novel. So it isn't a raccoon Isekai or reincarnation as a raccoon. I still haven't added it to the story, as I am currently doing the intro. A long intro! So the start might feel off when you read it. The story will include many genres but starts with psychological stuff and low fantasy. The whole story is an enormous puzzle, but it starts with a tiresome beginning for many. There is a reason for that... If you want to know more about this story check my discord: https://discord.gg/rZs6mem You can ask what you want to know there.
