Hidden Marriage With My Imperfect CEO Chapter 346

"Sir, Mrs. Diana is awake and wants to see you," a shocking news came from across the phone.
Aiden glanced at Anya with an unpredictable gaze. After being discharged from the hospital, Anya looked a little dazed and sad.
Anya could feel Aiden's gaze on her and she looked back at her husband. "If you still have to work, I can go home by taxi,"
"I'll take you home first," Aiden took Anya's hand gently. "Your mother will be fine. Don't be sad,"
"I really want you to see the results of my work. I want to give her my new perfume," Anya said with red eyes.
Aiden embraced Anya's body. "I will find the best doctor to treat your mother. I'll make her wake up before your perfume comes out,"
"Alright," Anya nodded, winking her eyes, trying to get rid of her tears.
Their car stopped in front of the house. Anya immediately got down and rested, while Aiden returned to the hospital again.
In her room, Diana's face looked very calm. The doctor had checked her condition and she was stable.
"Madame, please control your emotions. If something happens again, there's no telling when you can wake up. Every time you fall into a coma, your body will continue to hurt," the doctor warned.
"I'll be careful. Sorry for bothering you," Diana said with a thin smile.
"This has become our job. Get some rest. Mr. Aiden will be here soon," the doctor said.
Diana nodded and slowly closed her eyes.
Aiden walked into Diana's room. Seeing Diana was closing her eyes and resting, Aiden took a chair and sat beside Diana's bed in silence, waiting for her to wake up.
Diana could hear the sound of a chair being moved. She opened her eyes slowly and saw Aiden. "You have come!" Diana said with a smile.
"Anya did not know that Mother was awake," Aiden calmly said.
Diana reached out with her hand to touch her face, feeling the scars that started to fade. Her face felt much smoother…

"Thank you for buying medicine for my face. Anya is very lucky to be married to a man like you. You must be wondering why I suddenly fell back into a coma."
"I've met Doctor Widi," Aiden said in a low voice.
"All of this is my fault. I have hurt my daughter," tears streamed down Diana's face. "Can you keep this a secret from Anya?"
Aiden nodded. "I came to see you to say this. Anya doesn't know that you are not her real mother. While you were in a coma, Mona ordered someone to kidnap her and force her to draw blood for Deny's kidney transplant test. But the result says they didn't match. I discovered by accident that Anya is not related by blood with Deny,"
"I just found out that my daughter and Deny, whom I gave birth to, died from birth. My mother was afraid that I would be sad so she brought a baby orphaned by her parents. Doctor Widi and my father were good friends so Doctor Widi helped him to hide this."
Diana's face was flooded with tears. "Over the years, I took care of Anya like my own daughter. I taught her about the perfumery world. Even after I lost my abilities, I taught her to be my successor. I don't want to lose my daughter,"
"Anya also cannot live without a mother. The most joyous thing for her in this world is to be your daughter and her biggest dream is to be your successor. I can't bear to tell her the truth. So I made a new DNA test result that said she was still your daughter, even though she wasn't Deny's daughter," Aiden said, telling Diana everything.
Diana was surprised to see what Aiden had done for her daughter. Aiden really thought about Anya's kindness.
"I just wanted to keep this a secret for a while and let her know when it is appropriate. If you fake the test results and make her think I'm her mother, she won't be able to find her real parents. Isn't that unfair to Anya? If her parents are still alive and looking for her, won't we only hurt Anya?" Diana said.

"I've talked to Anya. She doesn't want to leave you and look for her biological parents even though you are not her biological mother. However, you must provide a convincing explanation regarding her biological father," Aiden said.
Diana was silent for a moment, stunned by Aiden's words. If Anya asks about her biological father, how should she answer?
When Deny came to her hospital room and caused trouble, she told Anya that Anya was Deny's daughter. But now, she had just found out that Anya was neither her nor Deny's daughter.
Diana frowned and said with a little embarrassment, "Before I got married, I met together with Galih. At that time, we were drunk and Galih was picked up by Indah. I got married in February and Anya was born in November. From the date of her birth, it can be calculated that I was pregnant when I just got married. So, Indah will consider Anya my daughter with Galih. That's better…"
"Yes. Let Anya think that she is Galih's daughter. It's a coincidence that she didn't want to have any contact with the Pratama Family either," Aiden agreed. Anya did think that she was Galih's daughter because of her resemblance to Keara. But she didn't want to have a relationship with Galih because she didn't like Keara. And Anya also felt a little angry because Indah and Keara visited her mother and put her in a coma again.
"Galih is a good man. That night, we just drank and did nothing. But Indah misunderstood and refused to believe our explanation."
Aiden remembered that before Diana came back into a coma, Indah and Keara had come to see her. "That day, Aunt Indah came to see you. What did she say?"
"She said that she had investigated Anya and suspected that Anya was my daughter from Galih. That's because Anya looks a lot like Keara…" Diana paused and then asked suspiciously. "Anya is not my daughter, but she is very similar to Galih. Is she related to the Pratama Family?"
"No. Their resemblance is just a coincidence," Aiden immediately dodged it.
Diana took a deep breath. "I've been taking care of Anya since childhood. It makes no difference whether she was born from my womb or not. In my eyes, Anya is my daughter. I can only ask you to hide this matter temporarily,"
Aiden nodded.
Diana did not want to lose Anya and Anya also loved her mother very much.
Even though Anya was Indah's missing daughter, she had never seen her mother so far. In addition, Indah already had Keara. It wouldn't make any difference even if Anya returned to being a part of the Pratama Family.
Diana pursed her lips and folded her arms. She seemed to have just made a big decision. "Aiden, I know you can do it. Can you help me to find out Anya's parents secretly?"
"Are you afraid that Anya will find her parents and leave you?" Aiden stared at Diana.
"Right. I'm afraid that Anya will leave me. But I'm more afraid if it turns out that Anya's parents are not good people and will not treat her well. Therefore, I ask your help to find out first. If Anya is abandoned, it is better if she doesn't know her parents forever. But if it turns out that she was kidnapped or accidentally lost, or that her parents are good people and are looking for her whereabouts, I will find time to tell her and bring her together with her biological family," Diana's eyes looked very reluctant, but her love for Anya was greater so she was willing to do all this for the happiness of her daughter.

Crimson Gloom
Crimson Gloom. The time when the moon turns crimson, illuminating the landscape with its crimson glow. The time when the ‘doors’ to the Crimson Abyss open. One shall gaze into the abyss and gain its secrets and powers. Concurrently, the abyss also gazes into oneself, gaining one’s sanity and humanity. Dimensional rifts appeared spontaneously on Earth, bringing otherworldly demons along with the Crimson Gloom. Bloody battles were fought, noble sacrifices were made. Humans eventually sealed the rifts and successfully defended their homeworld. Alas, the seals were not perfect. The Crimson Abyss continued to exist, slowly influencing Earth and its inhabitants. Half a century of relatively uneventful years passed… humanity slowly descended into corruption, and the majority of them knew nothing of the effects of the Crimson Abyss. Is there only the dreadful gloom left to the world? Can one find brightness in the increasingly gloomy world? The youth who had gazed into the Crimson Abyss had no answer, nor did he care. He only wanted the Crimson Gloom to end, to forever seal the Crimson Abyss. A mistake and a twist of fate led the youth into a seemingly totally different direction. Will he forget his lifelong goal? Will he instead step back onto his initial path that he fervently pursued? Disclaimer: I do not own the image on the cover. Image edited on canva.com.
