Hidden Marriage With My Imperfect CEO Chapter 227

The temperature in the room suddenly felt cold. Dio's hair stood on end as he stared into Aiden's cold eyes. He unwittingly lowered his head, as if hiding his guilt. He did not dare to say another word.
"Dio, people around this estate may find you dead on the roadside from alcohol poisoning tomorrow morning," Aiden said coldly.
"Are you threatening me because I'm telling the truth?" Dio panicked at Anya and begged for help, "Anya, you have to help me. I don't want to die!"
"If you don't tell the truth, it doesn't look like you will have time to order your own coffin," Aiden glanced at his bodyguard. Before the guards did Aiden's order, he had pulled Anya's body into his arms and covered her ears.
Anya still heard punches and kicks, but she couldn't hear Dio's screams at all.
Since they didn't want to scare Anya and didn't want to disturb the servants at home, Aiden's guards stuffed a cloth in Dio's mouth so that he couldn't scream.
Anya's heart was beating fast. Her little hands gripped Aiden's clothes tightly.
"Aiden. Even though Dio sounded reasonable and I still doubted the matter, you understand how I felt when I almost lost my crop. You know the taste, like when you lost the cat your mother gave you. I know you won't do it," Anya said.
Aiden's face that looked gloomy immediately relieved after hearing Anya's words.
He then removed his hands from Anya's ears, and held her face with both hands before kissing her lips gently.
"Aiden. This time, I trust you," Anya said in a low voice.
Anya knew that although Dio's words sounded reasonable, Aiden's reasoning was also right. If it was Aiden who did it, he wouldn't be this stupid.
Aiden was much smarter than that ...
He could do it really clean, leaving no trace at all and Anya would never find out what he did.
Therefore, Anya preferred to trust Aiden.
Besides, Dio knew too much about them. He could tell that Anya and Aiden were fighting. How did Dio know she wanted to leave Aiden? Dio also deliberately slandered Aiden, saying that it was Aiden who told him to destroy Anya's vanilla park.

His main purpose was to destabilize the relationship between Anya and Aiden. Who intended to ruin their relationship?
Aiden hugged Anya's body closer to him. "Are you cold?"
"I'm not cold in your arms," Anya said with a smile.
"Let him go," Aiden ordered. His guards immediately stopped beating Dio and took out the cloth that was sticking to his mouth.
Dio's body shook and he fell to the floor. His face was covered with blood stains.
Anya wanted to turn to see Dio's condition, but Aiden didn't allow it. He didn't want to dirty Anya's eyes...
"Dio, I know you don't intend to harm me. As long as you can tell who ordered you, I will ask Aiden to let you go." Anya who was still in Aiden's arms said to Dio without looking at him.
Though she didn't look at Dio, she was currently facing a glass window in the living room so she could see Dio's chaotic condition.
"Anya, why are you so stupid? How could these rich people be sincere to you? When he is tired of you, he will throw you out as quickly as possible. If it's like that, who will take you? To make sure you stay by his side, he even does cruel things. Why are you so stubborn?" Dio shouted.
Anya's face turned pale. She couldn't believe Dio still didn't want to admit it even after being beaten so badly. So who was actually the fool? Anya or Dio?
Anya's voice sounded cold. "Dio, I know you often help me. As long as you tell us, I won't sue you for this matter. But if you insist on hiding it, it is the same as intending to harm me. Because those people will continue to try to hurt me in the future."
Hearing this, Dio suddenly raised his head. He looked at Aiden and Anya.
"Anya, why don't you trust me?" Dio looked sadly at Anya.
"Because Aiden will never hurt me. Whatever Aiden does, I am number one in his heart. He's not going to destroy the vanilla garden I fought for for years just to keep me by his side. In other words, you lied to me," Anya calmly said.

Dio sat on the ground in despair. His face was covered in blood and looked very sad.
After a while, he finally said in a low voice, "A woman ordered me. But I don't know her."
"What kind of woman?" Anya suddenly turned around and saw Dio's face covered in blood. His hands were still tied. Anya immediately asked one of Aiden's bodyguards to release him. "Untie him."
Before doing so, the bodyguard looked at Aiden first and Aiden nodded.
The bodyguard then untied Dio's hands. Harris took a tissue and handed it to Dio.
Dio accepted it to wipe his nose. Then, he looked at Aiden and then Anya. "The woman said that you took her lover."
Anya's reaction was very quick when she heard that. Her brain immediately went to the only woman who had ever been in Aiden's heart.
Keara...
Anya looked straight at Aiden and without saying anything Aiden already knew what Anya was thinking. Aiden didn't say anything, but his hand tapped Anya's forehead with affection.
"Do you remember how that woman looked?" asked Harris.
"She sat in her car wearing dark glasses. The night was too dark so I couldn't see it clearly," Dio said. "But I wrote down the license plate number."
Harris immediately checked the car plate number and the results showed that the car plate number was not registered. The license plate number was fake.
"Show her Raisa's photo," Aiden said.
Harris immediately looked for a photo of Raisa who was wearing black glasses and showed it to Dio. "Does she look like this?"
When Dio saw the photo, he was momentarily stunned. Then he looked at her a little longer and finally shook his head. "I didn't see her clearly."
"Bring me sunglasses," Aiden said to one of his bodyguards.
The bodyguard looked confused, not understanding what Aiden wanted to do. But he still obeyed and took the sunglasses for his Master.
Aiden put the sunglasses on Anya's face and then said to Dio. "Does that woman look like this?"
Dio couldn't react. He didn't understand. "What do you mean? Are you saying Anya gave me money to kill her own plants?"
"Just answer. There's no need to question it," Harris said with a low growl.
Anya looked at Aiden suspiciously. Aiden asked her to put on the sunglasses and asked Dio about it. Did Aiden also suspect Keara?
Why did he suspect Keara? What was Aiden and Keara's relationship back then?
Was it because Keara loved Aiden though she was engaged to Ivan?
After that, Dio suddenly remembered something. "Even though I didn't see her face clearly, I remembered the glasses she was wearing. The glasses have the shape of flower petals." Dio said with a little doubt.
"The glasses looked expensive and by her nature, it seemed like she was wearing luxurious goods. Maybe the glasses were limited edition."
Anya reached out and hugged Aiden's neck. Then she let out a small yawn. "Aiden, I'm sleepy. Let Dio come home. Let's go back to the room and sleep."
Aiden looked at his wife leaning back in his arms. He knew so well that Anya was pretending in front of Dio, but still Aiden couldn't refuse her.
"If that woman comes to see you again, tell my subordinates," Aiden got up and went upstairs together with Anya in his arms.
After returning to the room, Anya immediately pushed Aiden's body.
Aiden's back landed on their soft bed, while Anya sat on top of Aiden's body. She grabbed Aiden by the collar in annoyance and said, "Why do you suspect Keara? Tell me the truth, is there anything I don't know about your relationship with her?"

Fortuna Verto
A girl’s luck changes when her world changes upon itself, sending her back and forth between a world she knows and another that shouldn’t even exist. Working with her parallel self from that other world, the two must adjust to their alternate form when visiting the other’s world, as they search for a way to escape the chains of misfortune they are bound to. While this story is the conclusion of the trilogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, as the world of Celese itself is no longer a place the characters will be journeying through. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for all previous books, in case that matters to anyone. This book has an additional chapter after the final chapter that represents the trilogy conclusion, and should not be read until all three books are read first. Fortuna Verto continues the events of Essentia Animus to advance society into a sci-fi interpretation of Celese, bringing events to a distant world of another star. At the same time, events interpret a real-world advancement into a similar sci-fi age of another planet that shares Earth’s galaxy, a planet that has also been linked by the Celesi Veil. English remains predominant in both worlds of the story, but the presence of both sides makes certain Aethyx terms stand out, while Earth-styled scientific terms will also stand in a powerful contrast. Instrumentation remains an important aspect of the Elemental Era, but the influence of the gift has grown distant after discovering the superiority of the elements. Harnessing the elements had eliminated some of the original limitations of instrumentation, allowing for a self-sustaining focal source that provides solutions to problems such as automation. This turns the development available from the previous modern-day sense of a fantasy to one that is deep-future. Finally, opening access to the passage across the veil will open this progress in comparison to a very similar deep-future parallel world without such fantasy elements, contrasting the laws of physics with the laws of elements in a convergence of time and space.
