Hidden Marriage With My Imperfect CEO Chapter 129

"Have you done the handover of Rose Scent with Esther?" Aiden asked.
Anya closed her lips tightly. Doubt appeared on her face when she heard Aiden's question. Anya had decided something without Aiden's permission and didn't know how the man would react to it.
"Isn't it going well?" Aiden asked when he didn't hear Anya's answer.
"I recruited her to work as a general manager at Rose Scent." Anya said as she carefully watched Aiden's face.
Aiden's brows lifted slightly as he casually asked, "And she agreed?"
Anya nodded her head. She grabbed Aiden's arm and led him towards the sofa area.
Aiden sat on the sofa leaning back lazily and asked back, "What did you offer her?"
"Alright, seems there is nothing I can hide from you." Anya grimaced when she heard Aiden's question, "I promised her that I would not interfere in Rose Scent's decision making and follow all the arrangements. I want to ask you a favor. Can we keep using the name Rose Scent?"
"You didn't discuss it with me first and decide it yourself." Aiden's voice sounded cold.
Anya seemed to be able to hear her heartbeat in her ear. She looked carefully at Aiden's face and saw that the man was not smiling like before.
"I did it for you too. I don't want you to suffer losses and lose your money." Anya held Aiden's hand and sat beside him.
"For me? Try to explain." Aiden snorted.
"You bought a Rose Scent for me, but I have no experience running a business. I also don't have the experience to be the head parfumeur. I still have school and don't have time to take care of everything. Rose Scent was like Mrs. Esther's own child and she definitely didn't want to see Rose Scent collapsed. I persuaded her to stay." Anya tried to explain to Aiden.
Aiden's cold eyes narrowed slightly as he stared at Anya with an accusing look, "You're not telling the truth."
"Aiden, Amore has ruined my mother's career. Imel also took all of the parfumeur that was scouted by Mrs. Esther and tried to destroy Rose Scent. Mrs. Esther and I have the same enemy, and we reached an agreement at this time." Anya said.

Aiden pulled Anya's body closer to him. His cold lips brushed Anya's warm cheeks, right near her ear and whispered, "You didn't say my name at all? You didn't say that you could use my power to defeat Imel?"
Anya looked at Aiden in surprise. How could that man know everything she was thinking.
Anya immediately pretended to be stupid and chuckled, "How dare I use your name! You think too far."
"Is it true? You have no experience, but I know you are smart and brave." Aiden could see all Anya's plans.
Anya's eyes were fixated on the food on the table. She didn't dare look at Aiden. "I do not dare. I'm scared, especially when I'm hungry." She said with a laugh. At that moment, Anya's stomach sounded.
"Eat it. I brought it for you." Aiden said. However, his voice still sounded sour.
Anya smiled at him trying to be spoiled. Her hand was wrapped around Aiden's arm, "Thank you for bringing me food."
"Just thanks?" Aiden's face approached her, asking for a reward for the kindness he gave to her. His eyes seemed to say 'you know what you have to do to thank me'.
Anya laughed when she saw Aiden's behavior. She hugged Aiden's neck and kissed his cheek, "My husband is the best!"
"I can do better, especially in bed!" Aiden's hand wrapped around Anya's waist. He changed his position, placing Anya leaning back on the sofa just below him, while his body covered her, "Do you want to try it?"
Anya immediately felt nervous when she saw their current position. Her lips trembled slightly, "I'm hungry. Can we eat now?"
"I'm hungry too." Aiden's brown eyes looked darker than usual. After hesitating for a moment, the man lowered his head and kissed Anya on the lips.
Her lips felt very soft and the fragrance of flowers could be smelled from her body. Actually, Aiden just wanted to tease her, but who would have thought that his tiny wife made him unable to hold back. His gentle kiss grew fiercer and uncontrolled.
Anya's brain felt empty. Her eyes were wide and her body was stiff. She couldn't react at all. Anya could see the intense passion in Aiden's eyes.

Her heart sped up, twice as fast. Panic rose in her heart as she tried to push away Aiden's body.
They were currently at the Rose Scent! What if someone saw them kissing?
However, Aiden was like an immovable mountain. His embrace on Anya's body grew tighter.
Aiden's intoxicating kiss seemed to make Anya's vision blur even more. Her cheeks blushed, making her face look even more charming.
Aiden really didn't want to break the kiss. He crushed Anya's sweet lips, making him feel addicted.
In the past, he didn't care if he had to go to work overseas for even a few months. However, this time he really missed Anya.
For the past few days, he just wanted to hurry home and see his wife's face. These thoughts were stored tightly in his own heart. No one else knew about it other than Aiden himself. So that when he could touch the woman he longed for, that longing immediately overflowed by itself irresistibly.
Being away from Anya made Aiden's nights filled with anxiety. The man could only imagine embracing his wife's body, craving the physical touch between them.
While Aiden's thoughts were drifting, Anya got a chance to run away. She immediately freed herself from Aiden's control and got up from the sofa.
She was afraid and angry too. Aiden promised her he would wait. But what was he doing now? Aiden forced her to kiss in a public place and didn't let her go when she said no.
But Anya didn't dare to be angry with Aiden so she could only frown. She didn't even dare to express her frustration with Aiden.
Aiden just sat looking at Anya's sullen face with a smile. "Aren't you hungry? Eat." He said as he pulled Anya's hand to sit back down. The man then put his hand on Anya's head and gently stroked it.
"You're not coming home?" Anya asked.
"I'll wait for you to finish work and we'll go home together." Aiden said calmly.
Warmth crept into Anya's heart when she heard the words 'home'. Who knew since when she felt that she had a place to return to. Now, Aiden's house was also her home, a home that could give her a sense of security. She really had a place to come home to.
The thought made her feel very happy.
"I have to send a perfume sample to Mrs. Esther today." Anya said weakly.
"Let Harris send it. He's downstairs." Aiden said in a flat, heartless tone.
"Aiden! Harris should be home from work. He must be tired. I will order one of the shop clerks to accompany him." Anya said. She couldn't keep using Harris. The man was Aiden's assistant and he had held many jobs.
Since this was a problem in her work, she would have one of the Rose Scent employees send a perfume sample to Esther.
"Aren't you afraid that the sample will be lost?" Aiden asked, "Do you think there is still a person you can trust in this shop?"
Anya couldn't answer that question. There wasn't a single person she could trust in this place.
Aiden just let out a deep breath, "Tell Mila to deliver it. She has just been appointed as a shop manager and she is someone you can trust." He said, ruffling Anya's hair fondly, "And don't trust Esther too much."
"Mila? Mila is the person you ordered?" Anya suddenly realized.
After one of the Rose Scent employees was arrested by the police for recording her conversation with Raka, Mila came to replace her position.
Who would have thought that Mila, who suddenly became a store manager in such a short time, turned out to be Aiden's subordinate.
"I don't want to let you work alone in this place. If you need anything, ask Mila. She will help you." Aiden said while still stroking Anya's hair.
The frown on Anya's face became clearer. She did not know and did not think that Mila was Aiden's subordinate.
In her heart, Aiden chuckled to see Anya who was sullen like a child. But that was just on the surface. He actually looked stern. He wanted Anya to grow, but also didn't want to leave Anya alone. At least, he wanted to look after Anya.
"Don't you want to obey me?" He asked.

Ætla Verǫld
AV Online was just a flash in the pan—a harsh, experimental land which lost most of its players in mere weeks. Only the dedicated few remained, carving out their destinies in corners of the vast abandoned world. Lily Quinn wasn't one of them. With a career worth millions in the esports world, she didn't have time for a game like Avo—but when an exclusive beta test for the new version showed up on her doorstep, she couldn't say no… as much as she wanted to. Literally hooked into the simulation, Lily reluctantly entered a world beyond anything she'd ever dreamed of. Accompanied by seven other beta testers desperate to save their beloved game, Lily dives into a vibrant, beautiful world, where mystery and adventure waits around every corner. Trapped in a game with no rules, and surrounded by cutthroat players eager to kill for a quick windfall, Lily and her ragged band have no choice but to fight their way out, or die in a game that has turned all too real. Hi there! I'm setting off on yet another adventure, come join me :3 Unusually for me, there's only one perspective this time, and it's quite a bit more action-oriented than I usually write. Don't worry, though: everything's still as character-driven as always, and I never get tired of writing dialogue. Just to acknowledge it up front: this story is heavily inspired by EVE Online and the many stories generated by that world. However, since this is a fantasy setting, not sci-fi, don't expect any real parallels. Chapter publish rate for this one will be whenever I write them, as with Epilogue. I don't expect to move as fast here though, since it's not for NaNo. The plan is chapters somewhere in the 4k-5k range, and hopefully frequently. The Last Science takes priority as always though. Special thanks to Reaver and Ace Arriande for pushing me to get this going, and to all my fellow writers whom I've stolen from been inspired by. You're all wonderful people and I love you Quick reminder: Patrons get to read ahead of what's published! The sheer vastness of the planes of reality meant that if a combination of laws is stable enough, then it probably exists. The protagonist encounters one such stranger than fiction world that he has a hard time wrapping his head around. He is left alone in an Alien Reality. To him survival isn't the most important after all that he had been through, but he refuses defeat in his pursuit to understand the strange reality he finds himself in. Join this journey of his new story in finding out the answers and secrets of this world. I like this Genre to put it bluntly but I've always found that illogical 'Science' and flawed laws of the world, typical in these stories. So, I've decided to fix that. I have tried my best to make weirdness make sense in this World filled with Magic. Short of simulating them to verify, the laws of this new world should make some reasonable sense and will be consistent (As much as I humanely can keep it that way). This might mean my story might vary in it's progression speed but as a compensation, I promise to have a lot more sensible Cliffhangers if I must put them in. Also, I'm not a big fan of over using vocabulary when telling a story. So, My Language will be very unsophisticated. Hope that's not a putoff. So, Enjoy your reading!
