Hidden Marriage With My Imperfect CEO Chapter 120

Aiden and Anya were deeply immersed in their kiss, hugging each other as if to make up for the time they parted. Anya's hand rested comfortably on Aiden's shoulder. Meanwhile, one of Aiden's hands was holding the back of Anya's head, making sure she was safe, and the other was tightly hugging her waist.
They forgot everything around them. They forgot about Abdi's presence in the front seat. They forgot the fact that they were still in the car. They told themselves that they were still on their way home, and yet they ignored it all.
Suddenly, Aiden's cell phone sounded loudly, breaking them from their heated loving moment. Harris called Aiden to report the progress of the investigation, forcing the man to release Anya from his embrace.
Anya immediately sat up straight and distanced herself from Aiden's body. She moved closer to the side door, pretending to be looking out the window, enjoying the sight she had previously forgotten. However, the blush on her face could not be covered up.
Even though no one was around, Anya still felt ashamed as if she had been caught doing something wrong. Nor did she dare to look at Aiden.
Meanwhile, Aiden was annoyed at Harris for interrupting his moment with Anya. He picked up the call and said impatiently, "What's wrong?"
"Sir, the investigation is complete. CCTV footage was also successfully recovered. Mrs. Esther put the formula recipe in her drawer. But not a single person approached the table." Harris said.
"Then, how did the recipe get in Anya's bag?" Aiden asked.
Harris also did not know the answer to that question.
The last person to see and keep the recipe was Esther and the last person to leave the office was Anya. The only possibility was that Esther lost the recipe or Anya stole it.
But Anya also had no reason to steal it. Did Esther do all this?
"Has the culprit been caught?" Anya asked Aiden when she found out that Aiden was discussing her problem. The man just shook his head while hearing Harris's explanation on the phone.

"At present, the shop manager still continues to insist on accusing Madame of being the thief." Harris said shyly. He was ashamed that he couldn't do anything to prove Anya's innocence. He was embarrassed that he could not solve this problem quickly.
Aiden raised his eyebrows as he stared at Anya's face. His wife was looking at him with her round innocent eyes. Then Aiden said casually, "She's too innocent to plan a theft like that. She had to break into the drawer locks on Esther's desk and avoid the CCTV. Anya won't be able to do it."
Hearing Aiden's words, Anya's mouth opened slightly. She couldn't believe what Aiden said. Wasn't that the same as calling her a fool because she couldn't do all that? Aiden just replaced the word stupid with a more subtle word. In plain sight…
After realizing that Aiden called her a fool, Anya immediately frowned.
It's true Aiden was very smart. Even though Aiden couldn't see, Anya couldn't hide anything from him at all.
'But it's not like I'm stupid just because Aiden is way smarter compared to me! It's Aiden who's too smart, I'm not the fool!' Anya grumbled inwardly, pursing her lips.
"I didn't steal it. Ben must have put the envelope when he searched my bag, when I wasn't paying attention!" Anya said irritably.
Aiden stretched out his hand and stroked the top of Anya's head, annoyed by his wife's childish attitude. Rarely could he see Anya pouting like a child. Instead, he wanted to keep teasing her, "If you know, why did you let him frame you?"
"I ..." Anya immediately stopped talking and looked at Aiden excitedly, "Aiden, can you ask Harris to look at the CCTV footage when Ben put the envelope in my bag?"
From the end of the phone, Harris could hear Anya's words, "The manager knows the position of the CCTV cameras so he turns his back on its view and covers what he's doing with his body. Nobody can see what he is doing clearly."

"Hmm… I just want to hear the results. Continue the investigation!" Aiden said before hanging up nonchalantly.
A few moments later, they arrived home. Aiden took Anya's hand to get out of the car. Hana rushed over to greet them, "Sir, you are back!" She greeted warmly.
"Hmm ... What's the news while I'm gone?" Aiden asked casually.
"Nothing, sir. While you were away, the house was deserted as Anya went to work and visited Doctor Tara. She said he wanted to learn massage techniques for your sake, sir." Hana narrated the story with enthusiasm. Anya could only grimace in embarrassment from beside Aiden because Hana had revealed her secret.
"Anya also intends to make eye masks for you but it hasn't been done yet because last night she was busy making perfume." Hana said.
"Perfume?" Aiden raised his eyebrows.
"Perfume for you. I've made it for you!" Anya said with a smile.
"Is it true?" Aiden looked at Anya with an unpredictable gaze. His wife was able to make the perfume really fast. Did she really want to part from him right away? Was Anya impatient to want a divorce from him and return to Raka's arms?
However, Anya didn't notice Aiden's strange gaze. She took Aiden's hand and led him upstairs, "Come to the room. I will show you."
Hana smiled and immediately left Anya and Aiden so they could be alone. She knew for sure Anya and Aiden missed each other, so she didn't want to be the fly that bothered them all the time.
As soon as they entered the room, Aiden immediately took off his shirt without a warning. Actually Aiden didn't mean anything, but he did want to change clothes since getting off the plane. Unfortunately, he couldn't go home first and had to go directly to Anya.
Anya was rooted in place. Her eyes were fixed on Aiden, unable to take her eyes off Aiden's body which looked very athletic. Her gaze continued to fix on Aiden's boxy stomach as she said, "Are ... Are you going to take a shower first?"
"No. Spray the perfume here." Aiden said, holding out his hand.
Anya took the results of her perfume experiment for Aiden and sprinkled it on the man's hand nervously. Aiden was in front of her half naked! Oh God…
Meanwhile, Aiden didn't know what Anya was thinking. He raised his hand and brought it to his nose. His eyes were closed as he inhaled deeply the perfume, trying to study the perfume made by Anya. His face looked a little stunned after he smelled the perfume.
The aroma was very refreshing. A blend of light foliage, mixed with citrus scents.
"What do you think?" Asked Anya excitedly. Her hopeful gaze made Aiden's heart melt even more.
"Did you know I don't like flowers? I didn't expect the perfume you made for me wouldn't have the fragrance of flowers, but the scent of pure and elegant plants." Aiden smiled warmly as he said this. Indeed, whatever the result, he would still like the perfume made by Anya. However, his wife really thought about it while making perfume for him so that it made his chest feel warm, "I like it. Say, what do you want in return? I'll give you anything."
"Anything?" Anya asked carefully. She was very afraid to ask for it. What if Aiden got angry at her and decided to leave her after she made her request?
"Anything!" Aiden replied firmly and calmly. But in truth, his heart felt very tense. His heart was beating fast as if someone was gripping him tightly.
If Anya asked for a divorce ...
If Anya asked to separate from him ...
If Anya wanted her freedom again ...
Would he agree to it?

A Dungeon Tested
Its a hard life balancing all the things a successful dungeon should be doing. Will our newest addition to the dungeon race even survive let alone make it to the top where dungeons such as the megafauna roam? Or will our main character suffer in the dust till some inauspicious and ignoble death at the end of some F-rankers sword? Note this is me having some fun while I wait for new releases of dungeon stories. Feel free to comment on that basis. I will be keeping the first few chapters slow so as to give me plenty to build upon later. I have tentatively given this the gore tag for now. With that in mind "Let the games begin".
