Hidden Marriage With My Imperfect CEO Chapter 32

Doctor Tara arrived at Aiden's house as soon as Mrs. Hana called her. It happened that today she had no schedule so she could get to Aiden's house quickly.
When Aiden entered his bedroom, he saw Doctor Tara was examining Anya.
Anya's face looked pale, her eyes were closed and her body was limp on the bed. Hana was at Doctor Tara's side, waiting anxiously for the results of the examination and Aiden's arrival.
Aiden hurried over to Doctor Tara, followed by Harris behind him, "What's wrong with Anya? Why is she suddenly sick?"
Doctor Tara removed the stethoscope from her ear and hung it around her neck. She turned to look at Aiden, "Looks like this is an allergic reaction. Does the patient have any allergies? Food?" She inquired.
Hana looked worried when she heard Doctor Tara's examination results. Did she cook something that caused Anya to be sick like this? She didn't even know that Anya had allergies.
Aiden was just as clueless. He could only shake his head when Doctor Tara asked him.
"To find out what allergies a patient has, a further allergy examination should be done..." Doctor Tara said.
"Coffee…" A low voice rang out, causing everyone to turn towards the direction the voice came from.
Anya slowly opened her eyes. She saw many people gathered around her. She could vaguely hear what they were talking about, but she was not strong enough to answer, so only that one word left her mouth.
Anya had a coffee allergy!
Hearing this, Aiden felt very angry. Anya had a coffee allergy. She fell sick like this because of what Deny and Natali did at the cafe yesterday! It was all because Natali poured the damn coffee on Anya!
Aiden was furious. His hands were clenched tightly as he gritted his teeth. He shouldn't just let them go yesterday. He should have punished Deny and Natali even more severely yesterday. Splashing Natali's face with hot coffee was a light punishment, not worth the pain Anya was experiencing at this time.

He should have retaliated against them even more cruelly.
"I will give her a drug injection to reduce her allergic reaction. The patient should rest for a few days and not be too tired." Doctor Tara said while looking at Anya.
"Hmm ..." Anya could only mutter and nod slowly.
After giving Anya an injection and a prescription, Doctor Tara said goodbye. She didn't forget to leave a message to Hana so that Anya would get plenty of rest.
Hana cooked porridge for Anya because Anya had not eaten anything since morning. Before resting again, she told Anya to eat a little porridge so that her stomach would not be empty.
After she ate the porridge, Anya felt a little better. Maybe the drug had also worked so that she was not as weak as before.
As she laid herself on the bed, she thought about Aiden. She didn't see the man at all after Doctor Tara finished giving her the injection. She didn't know where the man went.
Her eyes slowly felt heavy and she fell back asleep.
…
After Doctor Tara gave Anya the injection, Aiden left his room and continued his work in his study. He tried to calm himself down by immersing himself in his work, but it was completely useless.
Harris also felt the same way. He had been accompanying Aiden since he was a child so he could feel that his boss couldn't focus on doing his job. Aiden's mood was also so bad that none of their work was right that day.
"Sir, is ..." Harris had not finished his sentence but Aiden had raised his hand to stop him.
"I will definitely repay them when the time comes…" Aiden's voice was cold and threatening. He knew that his assistant could sense his bad mood and awaited his orders. However, Aiden wouldn't do anything now. He had planned various things to get back at Deny and Natali for their actions toward Anya, but he was waiting for the right moment.

"Yes sir." Harris answered, "I suggest you rest and check Madam's condition." He suggested. He knew Aiden would not be able to finish a single job in this condition so he'd better calmed down and rested first.
Aiden nodded in agreement. He knew that he couldn't concentrate on working now. Maybe he should take Harris's advice, to rest and see how Anya was right now.
He left his study and immediately went to his bedroom. When he entered the room, he saw that the room was dark, illuminated only by a dim light from the table lamp on the nightstand beside Anya's bed.
Anya was still asleep, her body looked tiny under the thick blanket. At this time, the woman seemed to sleep more comfortably and quietly than before.
Aiden sat on the edge of the bed and reached out his hand to touch Anya's forehead, wanting to check her temperature. Her fever had subdued.
When she felt someone's hand touch her forehead, Anya woke up. She slowly opened her eyes, seeing Aiden sitting on the side of the bed and staring at her. The man was no longer wearing his work clothes and was wearing casual home clothes.
"How are you?" Asked Aiden. He could see that Anya's face was not as pale as before.
"It's getting better..." Anya answered quietly. Her body already felt much better than before. She was no longer sweating nor feeling itchy thanks to the injection given by Doctor Tara.
Aiden didn't retract his hand. He stroked Anya's head, stroked her hair gently, making Anya feel surprised. Anya was surprised to see Aiden being so gentle with her. Aiden had always helped her and was nice to her, but the man tended to keep his distance. The man didn't touch her much, always putting some distance between them.
However, she didn't hate the touch of his hand…
"Why don't you work?" Asked Anya.
"I'm resting." Aiden replied. He didn't tell Anya that he couldn't concentrate on working. He couldn't focus because he thought about Anya's condition. However, after being with Anya now, he could feel his heart calmer a little.
Anya's presence brought calm to him.
"Rest yourself... I'll go back to work." Aiden said as he pulled back his hand. But before he could do so, Anya grabbed Aiden's wrist, preventing him from leaving.
"It is okay. I'm not sleepy." Anya said. She didn't know what had entered her mind that she dared to do it. After she realized that her hand was still holding Aiden's, Anya immediately pulled her hand and hid her face under the blanket.
Aiden chuckled when he saw the woman's reaction. Anya was amazed when she heard the laughter. This was the first time Aiden had laughed in front of her. His laughter sounded very warm and melodious in her ears, making Anya laugh with him.
Aiden spent a few moments accompanying Anya until the woman fell back asleep. Before he left, he saw Anya and made sure that she was sleeping soundly.
Aiden left a light kiss on the woman's forehead, while the determination in his heart grew stronger. He wouldn't let anyone hurt Anya, not even her father. He would repay them a thousand fold for what they did to Anya!
