Chapter 3236: Ning Dragon, The Quasi Divine Beast
The golden glow shone above a Peak of Gravity. Despite the clouds swirling around it, its light did not dim at all.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
At this time, many figures were flying over from different directions. In just a blink of an eye, many people had gathered at the same place.
With just a glance, they saw an antique and ornate door in the middle of the dazzling golden light. It was maroon, and its edges seemed to be made from some heavy metal. Apart from that, many complex inscriptions could be seen on its surface. If one focused on them, one could see life-like humans, beasts, and sceneries depicted in the inscriptions.
Meanwhile, on both sides of the door, two terrifying creatures that resembled the hybrid of a dragon and a snake guarded the door.
The door was slightly ajar, and a mysterious black mist swirled out from the other side.
“What kind of Celestial Beasts are these?”
At this moment, everyone present on the scene was grassroots prodigies. They were confused by two creatures at the sides of the doors; they had never seen anything like these.
The creatures looked terrifying with drool constantly dripping off razor-sharp teeth, and their triangular eyes glinted fiercely at the others. They struggled against the chains that were as thick as the arm of an adult male, trying to attack the prodigies on the scene.
A young man said, “Regardless of what creatures these things are, there’s no doubt this door leads to God’s Secret Treasure…”
“So we’ll be able to enter in a month, right?”
Many people’s eyes lit up upon hearing these words.
“Look, the door is slightly ajar. Perhaps, we can enter now…” a middle-aged man said as he stared at the door. It was clear he could no longer wait as he shot toward the door at lightning speed.
Everyone watched as an unforgettable scene unfolded before their eyes.
One of the beasts opened its mouth and roared thunderously as the middle-aged man drew close to the door. An overwhelming force swept out immediately and landed on the middle-aged man. Although he managed to erect his defenses, he was still crushed by the overwhelming force. In the end, nothing was left of him except for a mist of blood. After a few beats, a damaged Spatial Ring fell from the sky. The Royal Grade Celestial Weapon he held in his hand and the purely defensive Royal Grade Celestial Weapon he wore were completely destroyed by that force.

At this moment, a horrified expression could be seen on everyone’s faces. They knew none of them would have been able to resist that force either.
“That… The force is equivalent to that of a Celestial Emperor, right?”
That wave of energy was similar to that of a Celestial Emperor’s Celestial Origin Energy that was boosted with some powerful Elemental Profundity.
A grassroots prodigy gulped before he said in a trembling voice, “Even the most outstanding prodigy from a grade-one force wouldn’t have been able to defend against that energy!”
At this moment, someone exclaimed, “That is Baili Hong Fei!”
Soon after, Baili Hong Fei arrived with five to six people who were also clearly from the Baili Clan.
“Brother Hong Fei, what are those things?” a girl standing behind Baili Hong Fei asked curiously as she stared at the creatures guarding the door.
Upon hearing this question, everyone turned to look at Baili Hong Fei immediately. He was the top young prodigy in the Baili Clan and was known to be well-read and knowledgeable.
Baili Hong Fei looked at the creatures guarding the door and solemnly replied, “If I’m not mistaken, they’re not Celestial Beasts but Quasi Divine Beasts…”
“Quasi Divine Beasts?!”
Although the people present had never heard of Quasi Divine Beasts, they had heard of Divine Beasts. A fully grown Divine Beast could be as powerful as a supreme powerhouse; they were naturally superior to Celestial Beasts whose strength was limited to that of a Ten Directions Celestial Emperor. It was not difficult to figure out that Quasi Divine Beasts were much more terrifying than Celestial Beasts even if they were not true Divine Beasts.
“Brother Hong Fei… This means Quasi Divine Beasts are stronger than Celestial Beasts and weaker than a Divine Beast, right?” a male member of the Baili Clan asked fearfully.
“That’s right.” Baili Hong Fei nodded. “If I’m not mistaken these two Quasi Divine Beasts are Ning Dragons. They’re a type of Quasi Divine Beasts with no intelligence; they only possess the most primal instincts…”
Whether the Quasi Divine Beasts possessed intelligence or not, these young prodigies’ fears did not lessen.
The female disciple from the Baili Clan who had spoken earlier exclaimed, “Brother Hong Fei, look! The door behind the Ning Dragons is ajar!”
Baili Hong Fei replied, “I’ve read that we’ll be guided to the entrance of God’s Secret Treasure a month before it opens. However, it’s possible to enter God’s Secret Treasure earlier as long as you’re able to pass a test. If I’m not mistaken, these two Ning Dragons must be the test. As long as you’re able to bypass them, you’ll be able to enter God’s Secret Treasure first… However, I don’t think it’s realistic to bypass the Ning Dragons…”

Baili Hong Fei was well aware that he was not strong enough to bypass the two Ning Dragons. Although these two Ning Dragons did not look like they had grown into their full potential, he could tell, based on the two creatures’ auras, that the two creatures were stronger than Celestial Lords. How could it be easy to bypass two Ning Dragons with strength equivalent to a Celestial Emperor who had comprehended a powerful law?
“So we can enter God’s Secret Treasure now if we’re able to get past the Ning Dragons?!” another Baili Clan disciple exclaimed.
“That’s right.” Baili Hong Fei nodded. “However, it’s safer to just wait for a month. At that time, the Ning Dragons would no longer be a hindrance.”
“Brother Hong Fei, if we wait for a month, how long do we have in God’s Secret Treasure?”
“Three days.”
The people in the surroundings naturally heard the conversations between the members of the Baili Clan. They were shocked by this information. If they waited a month before entering God’s Secret Treasure, they would only have three days to spend in there.
“Three days? That’s too short a time, right?”
Even the members of the Baili Clan were stunned when they found out they only had such little time to spend in God’s Secret Treasure.
“It has always been this way,” Baili Hong Fei shook his head and said, “God’s Secret Treasure is a remnant of a Realm of Gods. You can even find Divine Artifacts if you’re lucky… Do you really think you’ll be able to stay there until the Genius Secret Realm closes? That’s just wishful thinking!”
Indeed, most people assumed they would be able to stay in God’s Secret Treasure until the Genius Secret Realm closed. They did not expect to be given only three days in God’s Secret Treasure.
“What can we do in three days?”
“How lucky must one be to find a Divine Artifact in three days?”
“I feel we should try to get past the Ning Dragons so we have more time in God’s Secret Treasure.”
“Get past the Ning Dragons? You can go ahead and try, but leave me out of it! Didn’t you see that even Baili Hong Fei isn’t attempting to get past the Ning Dragons? You’re just seeking death if you try to get past the Ning Dragons!”
While everyone was still discussing this matter, another group of people arrived on the scene.
“It’s the people from the Thousand Hands Devil Sect!”
Many people recognized the prodigies from the Thousand Hands Devil Sect who were led by the most outstanding person among them, Yun Ye.
Upon seeing Yun Ye, Baili Hong Fei said mockingly, “Yun Ye, I heard that you didn’t even greet Duan Ling Tian and Huan’er before fleeing the last time you ran into them. What happened? I thought you wanted to avenge your Junior Brother Yun Xiao?”
“Baili Hong Fei!” Yun Ye said through gritted teeth. His expression soured as soon as he heard Baili Hong Fei’s words. He knew Baili Hong Fei was referring to that time outside of the Formation Spirit Pagoda. However, since Baili Hong Fei was not present at that time, he knew someone must have told Baili Hong Fei about what had happened. If he knew the person who leaked this matter out, he would definitely not let that person go.
“I don’t understand. What does that mean?” There were a few grassroots prodigies who were unaware of what had happened. However, the others who were in the know quickly filled them in, and it did not take long before they began to laugh at Yun Ye as well.
After a while, the people from the Profound Sky Dao Sect arrived. Following that, the young prodigies from grade-one forces such as the Tuoba Clan, the Great Dragon Battle Sect, and the Profound Cat Clan arrived as well. Out of all the grade-one forces in the Nan Dou Territory, only the people from the Thousand Tribulations Sword Sect and the Ancient Phoenix Clan had yet to arrive.
The Nan Dou Territory had eight grade-one forces, and the Thousand Tribulations Sword Sect, the Ancient Phoenix Clan, and the Baili Clan were the strongest among them. To defend against these three forces, the remaining five forces would usually join forces. Fortunately, the three forces had no thoughts of joining forces to eliminate the other five forces. Otherwise, the remaining five forces would have long been destroyed.
