Some thrived and some less so; some city governors were stronger than others. Passage City, for example, was considered as one of the top three cities in the Supporting Fall Nation whether it was in regard to resources or population.

Huang Yuan Fei was the strongest powerhouse below Celestial Kings in the Supporting Fall Nation. This was one of the reasons Hu Lin Yi, the Emperor of the Supporting Fall Nation, relied on him heavily. Moreover, with him governing Passage City, the city was thriving.

Since two of Huang Yuan Fei’s sons had secured a place to enter the Southern Heaven Ancient Realm in half a year during the Southern Heaven Combat, they decided to stay in the capital for the time being. Moreover, there was no urgent matter to attend to in Passage City.

Huang Yuan Fei had decided to wait for his sons to come out from the Southern Heaven Ancient Realm and join one of the Three Sects and Two Clans before he returned to Passage City.

Although Passage City’s residence was inferior compared to the Imperial Palace, it was still big and grand. Duan Ling Tian who was standing at the entrance thought that it looked like a mini palace.

After a while, the guard finally came to a stop outside a huge courtyard. Then, he notified the people inside of their presence before he left.

Soon after, Huang Jia Long appeared and invited Duan Ling Tian and Liu Guang Lin inside. “Brother Duan, I was just about to visit you… I didn’t expect you to visit first!”

“You were planning to visit me?” Duan Ling Tian asked, slightly curious, as he followed Huang Jia Long into the courtyard.

Huang Jia Long invited Duan Ling Tian to sit at a stone table before he said with a faint smile, “You’re probably here for the same matter. The Golden Nematodes, right?”

“You’ve already heard about it? Did City Governor Huang tell you about it?” Duan Ling Tian asked with a smile.

“Yes.” Huang Jia Long nodded slightly. “Father told me His Majesty has tasked him with obtaining the Golden Nematodes at all cost during the auction in the Solitary Nation’s capital! After telling me this, he asked me to look for you to see if you’re interested in going to the Solitary Nation’s capital to participate in the auction as well… What do you think, Brother Duan? Do you want to go out and gain some experience? I’ll accompany you if you decide to go!”
