Chapter 2537 The Patriarch Appears

Duan Ling Tian hovered in the air with his hands resting on his back as he looked at the enormous castle indifferently. The castle belonged to one of the ten most influential families in the Milky Way, the Barker family from Planet Lissa.

Duan Ling Tian was capable of destroying the castle with just a flick of his hand, but he stopped himself from doing so. Ever since he heard that the Barker family was one of the ten most influential families in the galaxy and possessed one of the most advanced technologies in the galaxy, an idea had sprung up in his mind. If everything went as planned, it would bring a seismic-like change to earth. Most importantly, his homeland, Hua, would become one of the top forces in the Milky Way if his plan worked. For this reason, he did not immediately destroy the Barker family.

“I’m here!” Tang Xiao Xiao said. She had brought Long Zhen Guo and his companions with her and supported them as they hovered in the air. If she had withdrawn her power, these people would undoubtedly plummet to the ground. Unless they fall into the sea, they would lose their limbs even if they did not die from the fall.

“Is this how he’s going to talk to our patriarch?”

“Damn this little piece of garbage! Our patriarch is being courteous to you! Don’t take it for granted!”

They continued to voice their dissatisfaction and pelt Duan Ling Tian with curses when suddenly, Duan Ling Tian, the object of their anger, barked, “Shut up!”

Duan Ling Tian’s voice sounded like a landmine being detonated, easily drowning out the voices of the members of the Barker family. “I’m talking to your patriarch. It’s not your place to talk. Did I allow any of you to speak? Impudent fools!”

Duan Ling Tian did not make any movements when he spoke. However, to the horror of the members of the Barker family, they discovered their left arms had been neatly severed at the shoulder. The wounds were smooth as though an extremely sharp knife had been used to sever their arms.

“Aaahhh!”

“No!!!”

The air was filled with the bloodcurdling cries and screaming from the members of the Barker family in just an instant. All of them scrambled to catch their left arms before pressing it back against their wounds and drinking a potion that gleamed with a blue light. In just a few moments, their left arms were completely reattached, looking as though it had never been severed at all.

Duan Ling Tian was not surprised by this. Tang Xiao Xiao had informed him that some of the most advanced civilizations had invented a special genetic serum that could heal physical injuries. One would be able to reattach one’s dismembered limb if one drank the potion within a short time.

Although Duan Ling Tian and Tang Xiao Xiao remained indifferent to this, the same could not be said for Long Zhen Guo and his warriors.

When the full gravity of the situation dawned on him, his expression darkened. “Search! Get to your feet and search right now! Who’s the one who brought men to the solar system and to earth a few decades ago!” A furious voice blared through the speakers of the communication devices owned by the members of the Barker family. “When you people find that culprit, tell that little punk to see me!”

The Barker family stiffened at the command.

At this moment, a young man wearing a silver business suit who was standing at the back of the crowd suddenly spoke up. “Uncle.” He drove his flying vehicle to Leylin’s side. His head was lowered as he said, “It was me. I brought some of our men to earth in the solar system.”

As soon as the young man appeared, Long Zhen Guo cried out, “It’s him!” He pointed at the young man as he said, “A few decades ago, he brought his people to Earth and gifted us with a few hundred years of advanced technology. He’s also the one who restricted the advancement of aeronautical and space technology on earth!”
