Are you trying to stall for time and wait for reinforcement so you can gang up on me later?” Duan Ling Tian had seen Zhang Chu He subtly sending a signal earlier. He was certain Zhang Chu He knew he was no weaker than an Eight Tribulation Bodiless Celestial. Zhang Chu He was not confident he would be able to defeat him so he had requested for reinforcement.

“Don’t make me laugh! Why would I need help to deal with someone like you?” Zhang Chu He flew into a rage out of humiliation since his plan had been exposed. He would not admit to it.

“Oh, is that so?” Duan Ling Tian smiled, it was deceptively friendly. Upon closer inspection, one would be able to see the shadow of contempt hidden in his smile. He said dismissively, “Well, since you’re so eager for revenge, I’ll give you a chance and wait for your reinforcement to arrive. However, let me warn you that there’s a limit to my patience. I’ll wait for fifteen minutes. If your reinforcement doesn’t arrive by then, don’t blame me for not holding back.” His gaze caused Zhang Chu He’s blood to run cold.

“Impudent!” Zhang Chu He’s expression turned unsightly. He had assumed Duan Ling Tian’s strength was only comparable to an Eight Tribulation Bodiless Celestial. He might have a hard time defeating Duan Ling Tian, but the same could be said for Duan Ling Tian as well.
