Murim Recurve Chapter 231

"The Blinded Ghost…" Re'Kha muttered through gritted teeth as she was able to recognise it even though it was just a blank space. The way it moved, its body size, its shape, etc. everything was details that she was well-versed with.
It was the sole Sha she had been fighting ever since she became a Harmoniser. So, Re'Kha knew everything there was to know about it. And, she was the sole Harmoniser that had fought against it the number of times she did.
So, even though she was blind, and even though it just appeared as a blank space in her Wind Qi perception, the Blinded Ghost couldn't look any clearer in her eyes. Moreover, just by concentrating on her eyes, she was clearly able to perceive every action of the Blinded Ghost.
Moreover, the moment she opened her eyes, she realised a shocking fact. She was able to see through her eyes, the ones that were lodged in the face of the Blinded Ghost. This shared perspective allowed her to look at everyone and see how they looked to the eyes of a normal person.
This also allowed her to see the actions of the Kite Sha better as the Blinded Ghost attacked it immediately. The Blinded Ghost just started with the usual punching and kicking, but each of its attacks was thunderous, sending the Kite Sha flying.
Though, as for the damage inflicted, it wasn't much. After all, both of them used Ghost Qi and had considerable resistance to the Ghost Qi of others. Moreover, they were constantly recovering the Ghost Qi they were expending thanks to the sheer volume of fear they were spreading out.
Just a single Sha was enough to cause widespread fear. And now, there were three fully matured Sha prowling about in the scene. And adding onto a fourth, rather powerful Sha, the combined fear they induced caused most of the guards to become incapacitated.

They were unable to even move, serving as reserves of Fear Qi that were free for grabs to the four Sha. The moment they had arrived outside the auction house, the situation took a turn for the worse.
Even though the attackers were the same, the people experiencing fear had increased. So, the four Sha were able to recover faster. But right at this time, the auctioneer lady summoned a large metallic drum and a metallic hammer, both condensed using her Metal Qi.
She then began slamming the hammer on the drum, causing a ringing sound that was deafening to the ears of everyone, for a moment preventing all the Harmonisers from attacking their foes. But, no one scolded her, rather wore grateful expressions on their faces for her swift action.
As for those part of the Burfuna City's Elemental Clans, they too took out the whistles they had prepared. Though, only the Clan Heads possessed this whistle, one that was regarded with as much value as their own lives. Moreover, it was a Magic Artifact of their respective element, one that was passed down from Clan Head to Clan Head, a symbol of their authority.
Burfuna Vi Clan, Burfuna Ka Clan, Burfuna Re Clan, and Burfuna Ju Clan, the Clan Heads of all four Clans took out their respective whistles simultaneously and blew into it with all their might. For a moment, silence reigned in the surroundings as the four Sha knew something was up.
But, as if it didn't seem to care, the Blinded Ghost continued to attack the Kite Sha while approaching closer and closer to the mural. And right at this time, the Serpentine Sha exited the ground, slamming it away while using one of its arms to grab hold of the mural.
But, it screamed in pain immediately, noticing the dense Earth Qi condensed on its surface. Its hands burned from the touch, as if it had touched a Magic Artifact, causing it to retract its hands immediately.

But as if it was triggered by this action, it opened its mouth and slammed a breath attack onto the mural, smirking when the mural began to shine with a dense brown radiance. But, there was a major crack on it, as if something heavy had slammed into it.
It seemed it only needed a couple more attacks before the Earth Qi layer would collapse. And, the Serpentine Sha planned to do exactly that. The moment the mural's defensive layer broke down, it would be able to grab hold of it easily and escape from the place.
If it gave its all while forgoing all defence, it would be able to escape from the place, irrespective of who it faced against. Moreover, it wasn't alone at the scene but was accompanied by two other partners with the same goal.
And, even though the group of Harmonisers standing near the mural, Re'Kha included slammed attacks on it, it just tanked them while slamming another breath attack onto the mural, causing the cracks on the brown radiance to spread completely over its surface.
One more attack and it would collapse. Without the layer of Earth Qi, it would be able to escape with the mural easily. None present in the scene were idiots, able to judge its target. So, without saving up any Elemental Qi, they erupted with their strongest attacks, severely wounding it, melting off most of its hundred arms.
And, just when they thought they would be able to stop it, the Mirror Sha appeared before them and slammed almost forty Pranic Arts, sending everyone in the place flying, causing a large section of the auction house to collapse.
Re'Kha shielded Ki'Nua as she activated her armour, emitting dense Water Qi as she defended against the Fire Qi tongue that lashed out at her. The force from the impact slammed her onto the walls, causing her to spit out blood. Ki'Nua too was injured, fainting in the process as her head had hit the wall.
As if they had timed it accordingly, the Kite Sha unleashed a breath attack onto the mural, shattering its final layer of defence. But at the next moment, the entire surroundings chilled as if the worst of winter had arrived.

The Forgotten One
Hey there everbody. This will be my second upload to Roll 20. Unfortunately I wasn't able to continue my previous one due to life and what not but I'm now back and have a some what new idea I've been kicking around for years. We'll see if i head back to my other fiction due to having things calming down. And like always I'm open to constructive critisims. Any way on to the synopsis. The world as we know it is gone. Torn from everyone due to two major things. First and foremost a biologica lweapon that no one wanted to take credit for after it was released and couldn't be stopped (a zombie virus of sorts) and the way that many nations thought to stop it from spreading was to destory everything they could ofcourse that didn't include them selves. So there the world was in a mexican standoff with hundreds of countries with hundreds of nuclear weapons just dareing one another to make the first move. Once again no one knew who started it but it didn't matter once it started the world was doomed. In an attempt to save people some scientists began working on a way to cryogenically frezze people so they could surive the on coming armegedon. The problem was before they could begin testing it on humnas the nukes began launching. In a bid to save them selves a family gave their youngest son to the scientists as a test subject. He had already been infected by the virus weeks before the nukes were being threatened and still retained his humanitiy. After being betrayed by his family after telling them of his ability to stay him self and a few things the bio weapon had changed in him physically he was sedated with enough drugs to kill a whole pride of elephants and forced to take part in the experiment. The last thing he remembers was watching his world close around him (his cryo pod) and his family's face of sadness but also hope in the fact that them betraying him may give them a chance to live. This is a fan fiction in which many aspects of one of my favorite games will be quiet prevelent. It will be obvious to those who have played it but for those who may not the game i'm going to be baseing some of the things in this novel is called Prototype. And no I do not own the rights to the cover. If the creater would like for me to pull it down please messege me.
