Murim Recurve Chapter 199

Once a Harmoniser becomes a Martial Master, they could tap into their race's exclusive energy, the Kalki Qi. And, when the Pranic Avatar was summoned after consuming 100 units Elemental Qi and 100 units of Kalki Qi, the summoned Pranic Avatar could exist in the material world permanently.
It wouldn't dissipate after time had passed. Moreover, its lifespan was double its respective Harmoniser.
Only the members of the Royal Clan possessed the Pranic Avatar with five foundations. This wasn't a stage that could be attained through any means other than by being born as part of the Royal Clan. The limit to develop the foundation of a Pranic Avatar was only four, end even that was so rare, it was almost a myth, for it relied on a mystical item.
And, using the trait of the Divine Beast, the Royal Clan's Martial Masters lived on as Divine Beasts even after the death of their real bodies. And in this way, they acted as their Clan's guardians. And, it was because of this foundation did the cities protected by the Royal Clan stayed strong despite numerous foreign race invasions.
At present, Ki'Nua gazed at the Yali, her Pranic Avatar. The image formed in her mind depicted exactly how it would form in real life. Though, it wouldn't be summoned as a Divine Beast. To warrant that, she had to reach the peak as a Martial Master first.
At present, thanks to the 10 units of Ghost Qi in her, her Pranic Avatar's development was only on the same level as a Magic Animal. Even for a normal Harmoniser, they could only unleash the strongest state of their Pranic Avatars by expending the required Elemental Qi.
If they only used 10 units of Elemental Qi, then it would only appear as a Magic Beast. Most Harmonisers used their Pranic Avatars as mounts that helped them break through a crisis. After all, summoning one was expensive.

In the end, they only lasted for a short duration before vanishing. So, the Harmonisers had to time it right to create the greatest impact with their Pranic Avatar. This was the reason Re'Kha decided to use a Hand Projection first when she was in the Withered Courtyard.
If she had summoned her Pranic Avatar, she would have expended 10 units of Water Qi. If the timing wasn't right, she would be wasting almost all her Water Qi. So, it was a wiser choice to use a Hand Projection instead. That way, she still had enough Water Qi to unleash some Palm Projections afterwards.
It was a choice of action any Harmoniser would have taken in her situation. After all, they had limited Elemental Qi to rely upon. So, they had to be careful in their actions. So that was why, even if their Pranic Avatar had two or three foundations, they typically just summoned it as a Magic Animal by expending 10 units of Elemental Qi.
But, the case of Ki'Nua was different. She didn't need to expend any Ghost Qi to use her Pranic Avatar. After all, all she did was interchange places with it. So, as long as her Elemental Qi reserves were developed enough, her Pranic Avatar too would grow accordingly.
That was also one of the reasons the First Celestial Emperor took the risk to forcefully elevate her comprehension and Ghost Qi reserves to 10 units. This way, her Pranic Avatar finished forming. Moreover, she was able to use it whenever she wanted.
Otherwise, if she had to reach such a state naturally, it would have taken her another 10 years. And considering the severity of their land's situation, as he had stated, that would have been too late. There was a chance Ki'Nua would have been caught up in some conflict and lost her life by then.

But now that she could interchange positions with her Pranic Avatar instantly, her life was guaranteed, unless the foe was beyond her ability to handle.
As Ki'Nua focused on the Pranic Avatar, she willed using her thought, watching the Yali morph its body and turn humanoid. It still retained its respective muscle density, rather, due to being compressed into the tiny frame of Ki'Nua, its explosive strength was further compressed.
So, in this form, the strength she could erupt with was even greater. The appearance of the Pranic Avatar looked no different from her own. But, it was currently naked. Even if she possessed the Ghost Mask, going about naked was risky.
After all, she did need to protect herself with some armour. Thankfully, the First Celestial Emperor had covered for that aspect too by imbuing the detail in her cultivation technique, planting the respective modification in her.
The Pranic Avatar used some of the Ghost Qi forming its body to create a suitable armour for herself. Moreover, with a thought, Ki'Nua was able to change the garment worn by the Pranic Avatar to exactly match what she wore.
The appearance too could be manipulated to maintain the same, including any injuries she sustained in a situation.
Moreover, just to experiment, Ki'Nua thought. Her body disappeared, including the dress she wore. And, in the place appeared her Pranic Avatar, looking no different, including the dress it wore. The bed did creak due to the weight difference; she swapped places once again.
In her normal form, Ki'Nua was asleep. The change was so fast even if someone had been staring right at her, they wouldn't have noticed. Thanks to the faint energy revolving from her Ghost Mask, they wouldn't have been able to notice anything even if their senses were absurdly sharp.
'It seems my clothes are carried with me as I reside in the Pranic Avatar's Pranic Heart. That's convenient.' Ki'Nua thought as she giggled, realising the current change in her was immensely more exciting than being a normal Harmoniser.
She then increased the range of effect brought by her Ghost Mask, enveloping both her room and the adjacent room, ensuring no one would notice her movement, even if they had been watching.
Even though Ki'Nua was assured the Clan Elder had left the place due to the arrangement—the First Celestial Emperor made—in her that prevented people from doubting her condition, Ki'Nua didn't take any risks.
She took it as a form of training, intending to develop accordingly if she wished to take down foes threatening her land that even the First Celestial Emperor couldn't sense.
As she walked on the floor, she took on her Pranic Avatar form, looking no different appearance-wise as she passed through the wall and arrived before Re'Kha, maintaining a gentle smile.

The Helena Chronicles
Espers are really no different than humans; they look like any normal human and in general behave like any normal human. However, there are a few key differences. The max life expectancy of espers ranges from forty-five to fifty. They naturally have a knack for mathematics and are extremely intelligent in general, this is because their abilities rely on the subconscious and conscious calculations. They also have a mysterious energy source they call Focus that is generated naturally by all espers. The continent of Elestveeve is populated by three major factions, each a governing force. On the west of the continent, there is the Noble Houses that subscribe to the Deity Faith. The Houses ruling with the Deity Faith as council since the religion's founding four-hundred years previous. Controlling most of the northeast is WITCH, an organization ruled by powerful espers; claiming the mysterious Genesis as their capital, they are a whispered myth among much of the continent's less technically advanced residents. In the southeast you have Tech City, a towering monolith of a capital with four sky layers and metropolis' leveled deep underground; it is a city brimming with technical advancement and cyber integration. Each faction contends with one another for their evolutionary ideology, by devout religious worship to receive miraculous gifts, unique genetic lineage to obtain ESP, and technological integration to become something more than human. Helena, a young genius and esper, awakes in a dark room with only fuzzy memories and the company of seven other children. She must determine how she got there and how to get back to where she came from. Warning: Due to time constraints, I don't have the time to keep up on my three stories; therefore, Helena will need to go in a stasis chamber until I can find more time to write between work and life. I love my first girl so much! however, it seems she is the least popular among the fans (the poor girl T_T). This world is much bigger than my other two novels and I'm not giving up on it, but simply having to put her on ice.

Almost a Good Person
A memory, a memory of a boy who wanted more than pain, of a girl who wanted more than death, and an Isle that should not exist. The Isle of Red is a small, unassuming, quiet place. It is just large enough for a college, a small town, and maybe even a few more unusual sorts of places. Of course, the townsfolk practically know each other as family. Flush-faced regulars can be found toasting just about anything in the Briar's Brew, then, a few streets away, the same haggle of older women stationed themselves on their perch as they did every day from one of the few balconies in Central Square. They fuss away now, spouting the usual gossip as they watch us all from on high. Then there is the College here on the Isle of Red. My college. It has been often described as an unusual place by a good deal of people on the mainland. If they only would visit -why I am sure they'll soon have a change of heart, they may even come to find it a quaint sort of place, odd but in the same way a tattered old quilt can be both odd looking and warm, and especially soft. We teach mostly the same sort of disciplines here, with fantastic and absolutely normal professors.I must conclude that I am quite smitten with myself. The stage is set with a level of perfection that would have astonished me in my youth. They are coming. Derek will follow her. He knows the weight of reality too intimately, but she will be his true north if only for a short time. A beacon in the storm to show him the stunning pastels and brightness the sun may yet refract through his thinner, sharper pieces. Theoline will lead as she always has- well not always, not yet. She holds onto questions feverishly tight, that one. Lights them up inside like a new type of fuel without the slightest worry of being burned. She knows... There is but a certain few who can look at a map and find nothing where I stand but the Atlantic Ocean. And still, there is earth beneath me, a noisy pub down the road from me, and several people clucking conspiratorially on a balcony above me. She knows... that the Isle of Red doesn't belong here. Neither, technically, do I. (Hello!
