I Really Am Not The Lord Of Demon Chapter 238

Chapter 238: Transforming into a Human
He slept until his stomach began to growl.
Ling Pingan finally got up.
He picked up his phone and looked at the time. It was already two o’clock in the afternoon.
“Ah…” He turned on his phone, ordered takeout, and put on his slippers. “So comfortable… it’s been a long time since I’ve slept so comfortably…”
Meow!
The Little Cat Bastet walked in from outside the door and meowed obediently at his feet.
“Little Darling…” Ling Pingan picked it up and kissed it. “You’ve become so obedient recently!”
In the past, this little cat was a little naughty.
But recently, it had really changed a lot.
It was quiet and not noisy, just like a smart child.
No one would dislike such an obedient pet!
Meow!
The little guy stuck out its tongue and licked the back of its master’s hand.
Ling Pingan couldn’t help but be happy, hugging it and kissing it a few more times.
Half an hour later, Ling Pingan saw Chiba Michiko on the balcony, riding on the electric donkey and appearing at the end of the street.
He immediately smiled and carried his pet downstairs.
When he opened the door, he just happened to see Chiba Michiko parking her car by the side of the road.
The young girl from Fusang seemed to be very happy today.
She skipped around with the takeout food box in her hand and delivered it to Ling Pingan. She bowed happily and said, “Ling San, this is the iron plate beef rice that you ordered!”
Ling Pingan took it and asked curiously, “Chiba Michiko, what made you so happy today?”
Chiba Michiko said happily, “Ling San, did you know? Yesterday morning, the representative from the Federal Empire’s Food Selection Association came to our shop!”
“After tasting the food in our shop, they gave us high marks!”
“Now, the Chiba family’s small shop has officially become the one-star restaurant recommended by the Federal Empire’s Restaurant Association!”
Ling Pingan also became happy when he heard this. “Congratulations! Thousand Night Sauce! You Deserve It!”
The Restaurant Association of the Federal Empire was publicly recognized as the most authoritative old Foodie Association.
To be able to obtain their recognition was a supreme honor for all food shops!
And in Ling Pingan’s opinion, the food from Chiba Michiko’s family definitely had the qualifications to be selected.
Therefore, this honor was extremely suitable for them!
He watched the young girl from Fusang happily ride on his electric donkey and disappear from his sight.
Ling Pingan carried the food box and walked back to the shop.
He suddenly thought of something.
“Sigh…” The young web novel author sighed. “I wonder when my novel will be like thousand night sauce and receive good reviews from people…”
Then, he raised his head. “Yes, my new book will definitely be able to do it!”

The young web novel author was full of confidence in this!
Thus, after eating, he turned on his phone and charged into the canyon.
Yes..
Now, the ant queen was still being nurtured..
Since he had nothing to do, he might as well kill time by playing Rangers!
… … … ..
The witch’s slave walked on the street.
This was the first time he walked on the street openly without a mask.
The street in front of him was crowded with people.
Looking at these people, he swallowed his saliva.
If he was the former leader of the Beast Sect, he would have been looking for a suitable prey.
The Beast Sect followed the rules of beasts.
But now..
He was carefully observing.
At the same time, he was carefully thinking about his future.
He had been told that because of his successful study and transformation, he could go out and look for a job.
Job?
The former leader of the Beast sect was very unfamiliar with this term.
Because he had never worked before!
Even before he became an extraordinary, he had never worked before!
He was born into a noble family!
And it was a very ancient noble family! The family’s history could be traced back to the royal era.
Therefore, he had never done anything since he was young.
After he awakened and became a member of the Beast sect, he had never done anything.
Hmm..
Other than killing people and destroying things, he didn’t know what else he could do?
At this time, a young man in volunteer clothes walked up to him.
“Sir…” The young man asked, “Are you willing to protect the natural environment with us?”
“Natural environment?” The witch’s slave didn’t quite understand.
“Yes!” The young man said, “Our world is in danger because of the industrial development!”
“Look, the global temperature this summer has already surpassed the same period last year…”
“To protect the ecological environment and nature is to protect our future generations so that our future generations can still see the world we see today!”
The witch’s slave was puzzled.
What did the future generations have to do with him?
However..
He remembered the ruler’s earnest and sincere advice, “Everyone, do your best… I will come to see you when I have time in the future…”
So..
The witch’s slave nodded and said to the young man, “Okay!”
“Then what should I do?”
The young man immediately became happy, “Sir, please follow me…”
“You should register as a volunteer first…”
“Oh…”
“My name is Zhang Zun…” The young man said enthusiastically, “What is your name?”
“Wu Nu (Witch’s slave)!” He replied.
“Wu Nu…” The young man was slightly stunned, but he hid it well. He immediately smiled and said, “Mr. Wu, this way please…”
… … ..
Yu Jiaonu looked at the phone in her hand.
On the screen was the answer she had searched for: it was better for a woman to find a job without a diploma.
The answer was sales, clerks, kindergarten teachers.
Sales..
She thought for a moment and crossed it out.
Clerks?
She didn’t know what it meant, but looking at it, it seemed to be working while sitting down..
That wouldn’t do!
Because she was looking for a job that could learn how to take care of and serve people.
So, in the end, she looked at the work of this kindergarten teacher and carefully looked it up.
She found that it really suited her needs perfectly.
This job required patience and care, and it also required taking care of people, and the person who took care of them might have countless unexpected requirements.
“This is really tailor-made for me!” Said the former witch of the feast.
Therefore, she decided to apply for a job in a kindergarten.
According to the Internet, this was a very easy thing.
She only needed a kindergarten teacher qualification certificate, which was very easy to get.
And she didn’t need to take the exam!
She made a phone call, and someone sent her documents over.
But..
She looked at the stack of documents in the hands of the staff member.
“These are?” She asked.
“These… are the documents requested by your other companions…” The staff member said with a smile.
“They also chose a Kindergarten?” Yu Jiaonu widened her eyes.
“Yes!” The staff member laughed.
There was no reason for him not to laugh.
Qin Lu was famous, and the thirteen terrifying banquets witches were transformed into kindergarten teachers by the Federal Empire?
This alone was shocking enough!
“Alright!” Yu Jiaonu lowered her head. Strength was faintly accumulating in her petite body, but in the next second, she remembered the teachings of the great ruler, and all her strength was completely released.
She raised her head like a mimosa.
“I will learn real skills from Kindergarten!”
Taking care of others… serving others..
She swore that she would learn it thoroughly!
She would trample the other twelve bitches under her feet!
In the next room.
Sa Hatuo also changed into new clothes.
This was his first day at work!
It was also the first phase of his social adaptation experiment.
Unlike the others, the Prince of Hell voluntarily applied for a job and didn’t choose it himself.
So..
Because of his hobbies and interests, the Prince of Hell had now changed into a chef’s uniform.
He was going to a night market in Jiangcheng city to become a stinky tofu vendor.
The stall was ready!
It was specially prepared by the municipal department, a brand new ‘special stall for the poor at the bottom’.
In other words, from today onwards, it, Prince of Hell, Saharto, would officially embark on a brand new stage of his transformation career.
From a demon to a human.
Starting from an ordinary person!
Therefore, from now on, its title would become him!
A smelly tofu stall’s little boss!
He looked seriously at his uniform, seriously looking at himself in the mirror.
In the mirror, he was a twenty-year-old man with a pockmarked face from land of Qin.
He held the identity document in his hand. This was the Federal Empire’s refugee residence permit, and his name was on it.
He put it away seriously.
“I want to make a good transformation!” Sa Hatuo said.
He knew that if he didn’t make a good transformation..
That terrifying existence that even his father was eaten in one bite could slap him to death at any time!
This wasn’t a possibility!
It was simply a certainty!
He had this intuition!
Sa Hatuo had always believed in his intuition!
Thus, he stood up and walked out of the door.
When he walked out, he saw his neighbor, the man who called himself the Zombie King.
This green guy was wearing the uniform of the auto repair factory.
“Going to work!” Sa Hatuo asked.
“Hmm…” The zombie king nodded silently.
Then it raised its head proudly.
Barbarians were barbarians!
Even demons were barbarians!
At this moment, the Zombie King was full of pride because he went to work three days earlier than this demon, this demon from hell.
This was a great victory!
It was also a victory for the zombies of the Xia dynasty!
As a scholar from hundreds of years ago, even if he became a zombie, there were still many stubborn thoughts in his heart.
One of them was: no matter who I lose to, I can’t lose to the Barbarians!
Especially..
As he walked through the corridor of this special personnel rehabilitation center, he smelled more than one scent from the Barbarians!
The Proud Zombie King couldn’t lose to the Barbarians.
Forever!
Thus, he took the keys and walked to the garage, opening the car door.
This was the car he was assigned, a very ordinary second-hand car.
It belonged to a staff member of this center!
Because his place of work was a little far!
Therefore, he was assigned to this car.
Of course, the staff member was given a brand new car.
Jiang Chen started the car and slowly drove out.
Suddenly, he stopped the car because he saw a person walking towards him in the rearview mirror.
It was Sa Hatuo, that barbarian!
He stuck his head out and asked, “Do you want me to walk with you for a bit?” The Zombie King’s voice was cold.
He was a Xia dynasty zombie!
He naturally looked down on the barbarian demons.
But at the same time, because he was a Xia dynasty zombie, he had to treat these barbarians with a bit of kindness. Otherwise, others would say that the country of etiquette didn’t know etiquette!
That was too embarrassing!
The pride of the former scholar would not allow him to make such a mistake!

Coeus?
Author's Comment: I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it, or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (http://armaell-library.net/author/andur) ——————————————————————————————— Reading Order of the Multiverse-Books ——————————————————————————————— About a boy who isn’t quite normal and doesn’t see himself as a human being, but is taught differently as he finds out about the world's secrets. Though not everyone is happy about his existence. This is inteded to evolve into a full blown space opera with elements of magic thrown into it. ——————————————————————————————— The OneShot goes FullStory. Trying to go a little more SciFi and alternate reality this time. I am not entirely sure how this fiction will turn out. And I am not sure on the tags either. They may change. Bear with it. As always, how chapters turn out is up to my mood.

Of Gods and Dungeons
March 16, 2021 - Hiatus note: I will come back to this story! I'm really struggling with it, though. It's been a number of years and I kind of forgot what the original outline was. I still remember the main path, but not any of the details, because I stupidly didn't write an outline. Progress is being made. I'd like a very decent sized buffer before I start posting again. Don't want to get hopes up only to immediately disappoint! ----- Amy Barnes, an aspiring chemical researcher, finds herself dying from cancer. One of her most desperate prayers is answered in a way that she'd never dreamed possible, and she finds herself living a new life as a dungeon. Warning: Violence, morbidity Cover: Taken from here, courtesy of www.pexels.com by photographer @tookapic. Author's Note: I've read some dungeon core stories on here, and they've tickled my fancy. I've thought up a whole story, start to finish, and thought it'd be a blast to put it into words. Other than the violent and morbid aspects, this story is suitable for children. Aside from the vocabulary, that is. I will avoid the temptation to have any cursing, sexuality, or gore. Excessive gore, I suppose - it is a dungeon story, after all. I’ll do a little research from time to time, but this story will not have a great deal of rigor. I’ve made Amy’s knowledge comparable to my own for that reason. There’s a few things she knows more about than I do, and a few things that she knows less about. Unlike me, she doesn’t have access to Google - it’s a non issue for her to be more knowledgeable than me, on occasion :P This story does not use the same magic system that I’ve used in either Sorcery in Boston or A Summoner’s Confession. This one is mostly intention based, and designed to be easier access for people who are more used to the idea of, “It’s magic, therefore it works” kind of thinking. Do note that Amy is, in most senses of the term, overpowered. This goes along with the usual dungeon core stories. She’s not more powerful than other dungeons per se, but she does have knowledge and intelligence that puts them to shame. I thought about doing this in a LitRPG style, but systems take balance, and I wanted this to be pure fun to write. This story was inspired from a few sources. Despite the title, it wasn’t really inspired by Of Mice and Men, though some of the themes match. Rather, I’ve taken inspiration from a few dungeon core novels on Royal Road Legends for the main idea. Many conventions of dungeon core stories have been perverted from the genre, however. I’ve taken my usual science-loving self to town to play around with the powers, and I can only hope you have half as much fun reading this as I have had writing it.

The Mystifying Diviner
Content warning, there is cursing in the story and there will be some pretty heavy sexual innuendos in it also. I don’t really plan to write gore, but there will be fight scenes. Fair warning to readers, it is a slow start. But hopefully it is enjoyable for you to read. Follow the story of an old chef who was lucky to be selected to become a system host. Well maybe not so lucky, because gaining the system killed him. He will be given a system that might not be the best match for him. While also having to deal with a snarky system monitor who might not be that helpful most of the time. He will also use his new found powers to enjoy life in a new younger body. What you can expect from this story is bad writing, poor grammar, and slow pacing maybe. Food, cooking, comedy, slice of life, fighting, exploring, tournaments, scamming and probably face slapping. I mean who doesn’t like a good face slapping? This is my take on a cultivation story, a lot of Eastern stuff will be crammed into with a mix of Western. This story started as a goal for myself to write 60,000 words in a month for NaNoWriMo. I was able to do it even with taking days off and not writing. I plan to keep writing the story, but at a slightly slower pace. I am aiming for 2-3 chapters a week now with about 4-7k words written. This is only posted on RoyalRoad currently, and I have no plans to change that for now. Cover art is by Jack0fheart [Participant in the 2021 Royal Road Writathon Challenge for the month of November 2021]
