Chapter 354: Pseudo-Legend Body
'Hmm, I think I need to start working now.' Charles nodded inwardly and shifted his attention towards his Game Interface.
'The next thing is about my advancement. To Rank Up my main class, I have to comprehend the final spell model. Unfortunately, it would take more than a month to complete it. After that, I need to increase my Strength attribute to above 25 and get the Pseudo-Legend body. Thankfully, I still haven't leveled up my Sub-Class.' He muttered to himself and turned his attention towards the Exp bar.
'7.81 Million Exp… Damn, that's a whole lot of Exp points I have.' He couldn't help but show a pleased smile on his face.
Before he went after Red Prince, he only had 4.9 Million Exp points.
But after he killed the Red Prince, Saron, and Martin Nightwind, he received around 3 million exp points.
'This should be more than enough.'
Nodding inwardly, he looked at the Main Class section and began to ponder.
Just when he thought of returning to the Fire-Elemental Plane, he suddenly recalled something, turned his gaze towards Oswald, and asked.
"Did you notice anything out of the norm in the Iron City, old man?"
Upon hearing his words, Oswald paused for a moment and soon shook his head.
"Everything is okay. Wait. There is an incident that happened after you left. But it's just a small feud between Titus and Tyler Elliott."
Upon hearing those words, Charles raised his eyebrows in surprise.
"Titus? I thought you said that he quit being a Mystic and started living a normal life, right? What's with him? Moreover, Tyler Elliott? Isn't he the one who assassinated his father before the coronation ceremony? He also took full control over the Elliott family, right?"

"Yes, that guy gave some trouble for Daisy when she went back to see her father's graveyard. Thankfully, Jessie seemed to have anticipated the plot and intervened. If not, Tyler and his family members might have captured Titus and Daisy and held them as hostages." Oswald paused for a moment and then added.
"Griffon family also seems to have been involved in this plot."
Meanwhile, Charles fell into deep thoughts and soon frowned.
Then, he closed his eyes, conjured a ball of purple flame, and weaved it into a small orb.
After that, he reshaped the orb into a coin-like thing and turned his attention towards his Inner World.
He then replicated his memories, infused them with the purple coin, and made it look like an illusionary coin.
But he didn't end it there, though.
Instead, he conjured three more purple fireballs and created three more similar-looking purple coins.
"Old man, please use your power and place this coin in those kids' Inner Worlds. It's better to prepare for the worst-case scenario."
Saying so, he passed those purple coins and then shifted his attention towards the right sidewall.
"I'll only come on the last day before the Destined Day. Till then, take care of everything." He said in a calm tone and recited a word in English.
A moment later, his figure turned blurry for a moment and soon disappeared!
On the other hand, Oswald glanced at the four purple coins and soon showed a surprised look on his face.
"A defensive mechanism against memory erasing spells, huh. This lad improved a lot during the past five years." He nodded inwardly and stored those illusionary purple coins in his space ring.
After that, he turned his attention towards the metallic disk in his hand and continued to work.

…
Dawn Route, First District, City of Red, Fire Elemental Plane.
Charles reappeared in his newly rented house and looked at the empty bedroom.
Then, he cleaned the floor using a broomstick, took out a mat from his space ring, and placed it on the floor.
After that, he sat in a cross-legged position, closed his eyes, and entered his Inner World.
For the next few weeks, he mostly stayed in his bedroom and comprehended the final spell model.
The only time he went out of his house was to buy food for himself.
He also sold the four-legged horse to the nearby house owner and earned 4 Chariots.
The time passed as he continued to comprehend the spell model.
Exactly 35 days later, Charles finally comprehended the [Heart of Fire] spell model.
He then walked out of his house, entered the yard, and glanced at the weed-filled areas.
After that, he moved out of the fence gate and started walking towards the main road.
Thirty minutes later, Charles finally left the City of Red through the small exit and walked in a particular direction.
His current destination was a volcanic mountain range located at the farther end of the Red Human's territory.
That was the only place where the Red Humans would avoid visiting due to the harsh environment.
Once Charles reached a particular distance, he cast [Flame Teleportation] spell, disappeared from there, and reappeared a few km away from where he stood before.
He continued using the [Flame Teleportation] spell, crossed many villages, towns, and farmlands, and finally left the habitable area.
He soon saw a volcanic mountain range and hot rocky land on the other side and then teleported.
A moment later, he reappeared at the summit of an ash-filled mountain and released his full wisdom power.
After scanning the surrounding areas for a moment, he opened the Game Interface, focused his attention on the sub-class section, and poured 2,701,845 Exp points into it.

Charles nodded inwardly and put four free attribute points into the Strength attribute.
A second later, some mystical energy came out of the System Cube and seeped into his body.
Then, the mystical energy entered his body cells and started to strengthen his body.
At that moment, Charles felt an itching sensation and soon realized that his whole body was entering a new phase!
His senses became heightened, and his muscle also hardened like a rock.
'This… Is this the Pseudo-Legend body strength?' He clenched his fist, bent down a little, and punched the air.
To his surprise, his simple hand movement released a shockwave and sliced the nearby rocks!
'Good.' He nodded with a pleased smile on his face and shifted his attention towards the free attribute points section.
'Oh? I still have one attribute point left? Yeah, I never used this one after I ranked up the subclass.' He muttered inwardly and chose to put it on Dexterity attribute.
Then, he found a suitable place and sat on the ground.

Naturally, it features very overpowered characters with a lot of high stakes battles roaming across the cosmos. Warning: Swearing, some suggestive sexual gestures/words, gore. Feedback is highly welcomed. (The story was originally named, God's Return, but I wanted to change it.)

After the End: Serenity
We all want to believe we are heroes of our own story - unless we want to be the villain, of course. At the end of everything, the Final Reaper decided he hadn’t been a hero. Driven by a desire to right the wrongs he was subjected to, he killed everyone who wronged him or his people - which turned out to be everyone that wasn’t killed by someone else first. He'd won - but it was a hollow victory. Eventually, Order’s Voice found a way out. If the only existing being would agree to give up most of his power, the Voice could reset the multiverse to an earlier time with a few minor changes. Of course, the Voice couldn't ask it that way. It could only ask if the Final Reaper was willing to start over from when Earth was first brought into Order. It was an easy decision, and yet it wasn’t. Was he willing to go through eons of pain again to not be alone? Yes. In a heartbeat. Not that his heart beat anymore. Now it would. Perhaps he could even be a hero, this time. When he landed in his old body - more or less - on Earth, the Final Reaper once again became Thomas. He was both and neither. He needed a new name for a new life. Serenity. ------------------------------------------ While this is technically a System Apocalypse story, it's a System Apocalypse that is designed to have a large percentage of the population survive and prosper. There are a lot of problems that come with the appearance of the Voice, and it's entirely possible to lose. Earth has some special opportunities, but also special challenges. The first time around, Earth won the first round and lost the second. Serenity has ten years from when the Voice arrives to prevent that from happening. It will be a group effort; Serenity can't win alone - which is difficult for someone who's been alone for as long as he has. Of course, that's only his second priority. ------------------------------------------- Updates Daily A note on the nonhuman lead tag: He isn't human, and hasn't been human for a very, very long time (or maybe not long at all, depending on how you count it). He still thinks of himself as human, either way. The content warnings are mostly to give me room to write; this fiction is not intended to be edgy, but once in a while a character will swear or someone will get seriously injured. The cover image is a Chandra/Hubble composite image of VV 340 / Arp 302 / UGC 9618. While we're not going to space itself any time soon in the story, people from elsewhere are coming to Earth and Serenity will visit other planets. Plus, I like space imagery.
