Fire Mage Chapter 332

Chapter 332: Search
"I don't know. But there are still two more suitcases with us." Valerie said in a grim tone.
"What should we do now?" Charles asked, frowning.
Just as Destiny was about to open her mouth, Elias's voice came from above.
"It's not pirates! They are from the Rising Serpent Navy!" His voice contained a trace of panic.
Meanwhile, Charles and Destiny Lady also turned solemn.
They didn't waste any time during the past few days and learned a few things about the Azure Federation Naval forces.
The first was about the Naval Forces.
Five naval forces were controlling the Endless Sea and its outer areas from different ports.
They were: Rising Serpent, Red Tuna, Hope, Grey Alliance, and The Legion.
Each naval force was powerful and could squash any small kingdom in seconds.
Although all these five naval forces belong to the Azure Federation, each party always works separately and only listens to their Captain's order.
For example, this Rising Serpent Naval Force mostly does the patrol works and maintaining the law and order of the sea.
This naval force had a total of 6 Pseudo-Legendary Mystics, and each of them held the position of a commander.
Each commander had 5 to 10 large battleships, a separate naval base, and thousands of soldiers.
As for the strength of this naval force's leader, no one really knew about it.
Upon hearing Elias's words, panic surfaced on all of the crew members.
Although they hadn't done anything wrong, they sensed something was wrong with the situation.
At that moment, Valerie took out the other two suitcases from below and spoke.
"It's better to hand these over to the navy. If we do this, they will lessen our punishment for smuggling."
"No. They are clearly targeting us. Once they find out about this, they will kill us." Charles said with a calm look on his face.
"You have a plan?" Destiny Lady raised her eyebrows in surprise and asked.
Meanwhile, Charles smiled mysteriously, took a step forward, and touched a metallic suitcase.
The next second, the whole metallic suitcase turned blurry and disappeared!
Upon seeing this, both Destiny Lady and Valerie widened their eyes in shock.
It was the power of Domain!
Only a Rank-5 Mystic could do such things!
Although the clone Charles could only exert 70% of the main body's strength, it was more than enough to break the shackle of Rank-4 strength.

Yes, his current wisdom power had long crossed 100!
Unfortunately, his wisdom power wasn't powerful enough to create a separate Fire Domain like the real Charles,
The main reason for that was the distance between him and the Inner World.
The domain creation was mainly due to the Inner World.
Although he had a soul shard that could connect him with the Inner World, it wasn't powerful enough.
Unless the Real Charles's wisdom power enters the realm of Legendary, it would be impossible for him to create a separate Fire Domain!
But creating a small space filled with fire-elemental power was an easy job for him.
Meanwhile, Destiny Lady and Valerie were utterly stunned.
"You entered the realm of Pseudo-Legends?" Destiny Lady's eyes were filled with shock.
'I've been staying with him for the past three months… But I never sensed anything… This kid…' She felt like she was in a dream.
She had been staying in this Rank-4 realm for four decades, but she still hadn't touched the bottleneck!
'But… In 5 f*cking years, he had already reached the realm of pseudo-legendaries from a mere apprentice mage… He is a real monster in human skin!' Her mind went blank.
Embarrassment and shame appeared on her face.
On the other hand, Charles moved his hand towards the other two suitcases and put them in his separate fire space.
Then, he noticed their shocked faces and soon gave a short explanation.
"You are thinking too much. I still haven't reached the realm of Pseudo-Legendaries. But I've abnormal soul power, so it is easy for me to create a small space."
"How long can you maintain the separate space? What about the elemental fluctuation problem?" Destiny Lady soon woke up from the shock and asked.
Upon hearing those words, Charles closed his eyes for a moment and started checking.
After two seconds, he opened his deep-blue eyes and spoke.
"I can maintain it for 30 minutes. Any more than that, I'll face mental pressure."
Meanwhile, Destiny Lady and Valerie nodded their heads and started moving upstairs.
Charles also followed after them and soon reached the deck area.
At that moment, more than five battleships had already surrounded the Gold Demon ship!
But what made the trio tense up was that they sensed multiple Rank-4 powerhouses from all those ships.
Valerie soon woke up from the shock and shouted.

"I'm the Captain of Gold Demon Merchant Ship crew. Could you please tell me why the Rising Serpent Navy force is blocking our path?"
At that moment, a lean man in his late thirties flew from the nearby battleship and landed on their ship deck. He wore a white uniform, had wavy blonde hair, and looked around 175 cm high.
"We received information from someone that you are involving in the smuggling business. Is that true?" He sharpened his gaze towards Valerie and asked.
Before she could respond, he raised his hand and ordered.
"Put down your weapons. We'll search the ship and find out the answers for ourselves."
On the other hand, Valerie nodded her head, pulled the sword away from her waist, and placed them on the deck.
Other members also did the same and soon arrived beside Valerie.
Meanwhile, tens of well-uniformed navy members moved towards the Golden painted ship through ropes and soon landed on the deck.
Then, they moved towards different areas and started searching stern, berth, orlop, even the bilge.
After 10 minutes of search, they returned to the deck area in disappointment and reported it to the lean man.
After hearing their report, the lean man frowned for a moment, apologized to Valerie and other crew members for their actions, and returned to their ships.
Then, the Rising Serpent battleships moved away from their path and soon disappeared into the Mad Mist.
"Those guys really are polite," Liam muttered in a shocked tone and soon picked up his weapon.
Meanwhile, others also nodded their heads and started sailing the ship into the mist.
At that moment, Destiny Lady glanced at Charles and spoke in a gloomy tone.
"It seems they didn't block us because of the elemental fluctuation. It must be Richie's doing."
On the other hand, Valerie shook her head and added.
"Without Weston's approval, Richie would never sell us out. If my guess is not wrong, they would've made some agreement with the navy." She paused for a moment and then added in a grim tone.
"We've to be extra careful. They might come again and search the ship."
At that moment, Destiny Lady frowned and then proposed an idea.
"Why not take these three elemental crystals and escape on our own? I can tell that each crystal's worth should be more than 200 azure coins."
"No, each crystal's worth should be higher than 500 azure coins. During my seven years of experience, I haven't seen an elemental crystal as big as this one. All I saw were only fist-sized and thumb-sized ones." Even Valerie began to show a hesitant look on her face.
As long as she manages to sell one crystal, she and her crew members could live a luxurious life for the rest of their lifetime!
Greed appeared in her heart.
At that moment, Charles shook his head and interjected.
"It's too dangerous. We still don't know the exact worth of these crystals." He deliberated for a moment and then added.
"We are going to Halewick Haven."
His tone was firm.
With no other choice, Destiny Lady and Valerie nodded their heads and agreed.
After another 10 hours of sailing, the Gold Demon ship finally escaped from the Mad Mist and entered the deep sea.
Then, they continued to sail for two more days and then reached their destination.
Although they encountered many pirate ships on the way, Charles and Destiny Lady bombarded them with Rank-3 spells and scared them away.
It was around 5.30 A.M.
They finally saw a large island!
Halewick Haven!
It was an island filled with full of greenery and vegetation. The sounds of birds and the sound of the sea waves fell in everyone's ears as the ship stopped near the island.
A cool breeze flew against everyone's face. Moreover, the scent of the washed-up waves, flowers, fruits, and sand were all mixed into one.
As Charles opened his eyes, he was amazed by how easily fantasy and reality intertwined at that moment.
While the western sky was still dark, the dawn on the east was already broken. A bright light on the horizon beneath a dark blue ocean had begun to peek out.
Within a few minutes, the deep blue sky faded away. The sun took its mighty position at the top of the sky, shining beautifully.
"The Haven Town is on the other side. We'll dock the ship in a safe place and then go and meet Sage."

Dungeon's Path
The only places I have posted the story and allow it to exist are on RoyalRoad, Scribblehub, and my Patreon. So the world ended. Whoopsie? We didn’t even see it coming. Quite literally as it came at us faster than the speed of light. Don’t worry though, it got better. Also, I am not joking about the world ending. Most people say that and mean humans are inconvenienced for some reason. Nope, all matter disintegrated at the atomic scale there for a few moments. Apparently the local universe wasn’t actually stable? Don’t ask me to go into too much detail. It would require both of us to have a few more college degrees than sense, and I at least lack them (both the degrees and the sense). Anyway, the energy/matter/wibbly wobbly strings were at a local minimum and not the universal minimum. Basically, what we took for sea level was actually a nice little mountain lake and when the dam busted so did, well, everything. Now here is where things go a bit off track with what normal meant before. You see magic is real, qi is real, gods are real. Not on old Earth mind you but souls pay little attention to time and space so we dreamed of it. In fact, the closer the shift in reality got to Earth, the closer our dreams got to the new reality. This is basically me tip toeing around the fact that it was a ‘System Apocalypse’. Reality became a video game, I became a dungeon, and this is my story. Doyle Huxley just wanted a normal life but as the above might clue you in on that just isn’t in the cards. He gets to experience a “Path Based System Apocalypse” and some early paths he takes, both literally and figuratively, lead to him becoming a dungeon. The aim is to release chapters once a week on Friday. Cursing will be avoided and no naughty adult action will take place in the story.

His eyes had turned bloodshot and his hands shook with rage. “The first thirty…” “Shut up!” Genzo bellowed “How dare you help these disrespectful gaijin?” Flecks of spit and madness flew from his face, his fist raised ready to strike. But Emi did not flinch, instead she was about ready to continue when Yuma Takeuchi interrupted her. “Uchida, please,” her sweet sounding words could melt ice. “I think we will have a better chance of getting home if we all work together.” When she glanced up with her sleepy looking eyes at Genzo Uchida he deflated visibly. “Were not getting home.” Uchida said coolly. “Group summoning, large, that puts us in the 60 series. No one came to greet us after five minutes of arrival. That leaves scenarios 68 and 69. In scenario 68 there is something that binds the large group together; they are all classmates or a single family. But thanks to the gaijin” he spit out the word “I think we are scenario 69 with no way home.” Ikko Inoue’s eyes went wide, while Katsukno and Hayata started muttering to themselves. Tim took on a serious look and rubbed his scruffy chin. Emi maintained her stoic expression while trying to find something to refute. McKenzie glanced at Randall and giggled. Randall took the prompting of his teammate and followed up by approaching Genzo. “Uh, so we are in a sixty-nine?” “Yes.” Replied Genzo with the seriousness of someone who’s life was about to end. McKenzie covered her mouth and snickered. “You and me, were stuck in a sixty-nine situation?” Randall pushed with a grin. “Yes, we are all stuck in a sixty-nine scenario together!” Genzo retorted in anger. McKenzie fell on her butt laughing. “What the hell is so funny?” Demanded Genzo, whose face had turned red. “It’s a problem with the automatic translation.” Retorted Tim. Randall, who seemed unable to quit started in again “So, about this sixty-ni…” Genzo interrupted Randall with a swift punch to the face. But, because of their height difference it was a bit of an uppercut that left Randall rattled. Tim and Ikko moved to step in between the two, but Genzo showed no further hostility. Instead he just stared at his clenched fist with such intensity it grabbed the attention of the room. “I unlocked a skill.” He said bluntly. ***************************** This is not a light novel, but people who like light novels should enjoy the themes of this book. ***************************** A Map of the Region
