Chapter 302: Three Questions
A deep sigh came out of the light silhouette.
Simultaneously, the whole underground shook violently and soon returned to normal.
The bright radiance inside the underground hall also disappeared and enveloped the surroundings in darkness.
But just as Charles was about to breathe out a sigh of relief, the whole surroundings began to break like glasses.
The next instant, he found himself standing in a lone space filled with nothing but yellowish sunlight everywhere!
Not even single darkness appeared around him!
It was as if he was standing in front of a Sun!
Simultaneously, he felt that his whole body was frozen in the empty sunlight-filled space.
'Time Stop effect, huh!' He couldn't help but get nervous inside.
At that moment, a male voice filled with dominance echoed from all over the surroundings.
"An unpredictable assassin with a scheming mind... One who holds grudges for a long time and rarely trusts anyone. John Browning, a former assassin of the Ghost Organization and also a holder of the System-45 Artifact." The voice stopped for a moment and added solemnly.
"Currently, you must have so many questions in your mind. Unfortunately, I don't have much time. You can ask three questions now."
Although Charles couldn't understand the current situation, he didn't dare to delay any longer and asked his first question using his thoughts.
"What do you want from me, Divine One?"
In truth, he was quite wary of this 'Sun God' from the very beginning.
A silence appeared from the pure sunlight radiance, followed by a chuckle.
"It's not the right time to talk about that yet. When you reach the realm of Legendaries, you can come to Sun Church and look for me. Rest assure. I'm neither your ally nor your enemy. The reason I gave you the System is to help you grow faster. In exchange, you have to help me with something else in the future." The voice paused.

"Then, you must have already guessed about the System. Yes, you are not the only one with Game System. Like you, there are still 35 participants struggling in 35 different worlds and are searching for answers. Although I totally put 100 participants, only 36 are still alive."
Charles could feel the disappointment in his tone.
He then thought of something and asked the second question.
"What is hidden in Fire Elemental Plane, Divine One? Why do you want me to go to that plane?"
"Hmm? Do you mean the 'Twin Leaves'? You are thinking too much. It's just a small gift from me. In truth, I gave similar gifts to other participants like World Tree Leaves, Pocket Dimensions, Intellectual artifacts, Divinities and Affinity Improvement, and so on. Comparing to others, your gift is just an average one."
If it weren't for the Time Frozen effect, the corner of his lips would be twitching right now!
He soon thought of the final question and asked.
"When will 'He' appear here? Why is 'He' after you?"
This time, it was the Sun God's turn to be surprised.
"I thought you would ask me about how to change your Destiny."
Charles used his thoughts and spoke.
"Even if I asked about it, I know you wouldn't give me a proper answer, Divine One. If I'm not wrong, you must be restricted by some powerful rules or something, right? That must be the reason you used a roundtable way to gift me the 'Twin Leaf'. The Edhen World's Will..."
"Did you perhaps sign some agreement with it? Irregulars are the mortal enemy of the World's Will... But you rose to the realm of Legendaries in 2 years. Even if you have 'Divine' Level affinity, your growth was too abnormal. You also ascend to Godhood in the middle of battle. You definitely got help from the Edhen World's Will. But there seems to be some scheme going on between you two." He paused for a moment and then continued solemnly.

"From your earlier answer, I can tell that you need my help. The job must be in this Edhen plane. From what I heard about you, you are a good person and even saved the Edhen World during the planar war. Still, there are multiple organizations with powerful experts hiding their strengths and seem to be waiting for an opportunity to overthrow the Lawful Gods."
"Among them, there is one organization that is causing too much damage during the past few years... It's the Divine Order. No, it's just a cover-up organization. The real mastermind behind this must be Edhen's Children. Yes, the System also mentioned in the quest once that the Divine Order organization is causing genocide in the name of Justice and Law. Do you want me to stop this organization? Or, find out the real mastermind behind this organization?"
Just as he finished his words, a clapping sound echoed from the pure radiance.
Then, the calm male voice came from the surroundings.
"You are indeed good. Yes, this has something to do with Edhen's Children organization. They seem to be planning on something called 'Project Destiny.' Even I knew nothing about it. But all I can tell now is that that won't do any good to anyone in this world. Even the World's 'Will' get threatened by their scheming project. Haa, we are going off-topic. Now, you want to know more about 'Him', right?" The voice paused for a second and then spoke while letting out a fake cough.
"In truth, I stole something precious from that guy a long ago. That's why he is madly chasing after me. As for his earlier words, don't put too much thought into it. His main body is sealed in a very faraway place and it would take more than 20,000 years for him to get out. If my guess is not wrong, he would send one or two of his avatars to search for me. Even those avatars would take more than two to three decades to arrive here, so you don't have to worry too much about him."
Upon hearing those words, Charles felt relieved inside and nodded his head.
"That's it, Divine One."
Meanwhile, the voice also let out a sigh and retracted the [Time-Stop] effect.
A moment later, the pure brightness dimmed and soon broke into millions of pieces.
The next second, Charles opened his eyes and soon got blinded by the darkness.
Thankfully, Oswald gripped his shoulder and supported him to stand steadily.
"Did you chat with the Sun God now?" Oswald's tone appeared a little bit nervous.
Meanwhile, Charles nodded his head and soon returned to his usual self.
At that moment, Oswald suddenly recalled something and asked.
"I forgot to ask. Did you find out the real identity of the 'Divine'?"
Before Charles could open his mouth, he hurriedly raised his hand and activated the 'Seven-Leaf' formation.
Then, he also used his wisdom power, repaired the damaged areas, and finally gestured him to speak.
Meanwhile, Charles nodded his head and answered.
"Sasha, the Goddess of Destiny."
"F*ck!" Oswald cursed out loud!
