Chapter 221: Sinful Demon

Charles felt a terrifying power from the black-haired man called 'Elder' and got startled inside.

'His wisdom power has already reached an abnormal level.' He also saw multiple black clouds, illusionary distorted faces, and even some chains appeared near him and furrowed his brows.

'What are these?'

"T-This is the manifestation of one's Domain. He is a peak level Rank-4 Mystic." Natalia made a swift decision as she spoke and took a step forward.

Meanwhile, Elder suddenly let out a creaky laugh and spoke a few words in weird language.

But Charles felt something familiar about the language and soon widened his deep-blue eyes.

"Abyssal Tongue-?"

Before he could finish his words, Elder's body began to enlarge while tearing his dresses. His skin also turned darker and rougher, and two reddish horns appeared on his forehead.

Within a second, he turned into a 3-meter tall, monstrous humanoid creature!

His face appeared more like a wicked being's one.

His nose, ears, and jaw areas turned sharper, and his face itself turned into a square shape.

Even two eerie reddish scythes appeared in his muscular hands, and he looked more like an actual demon from books!

"He is a Rank-4 [Sinful Demon] Class Mystic. Be careful of his curse attack." A cold voice came out of Natalia's mouth.

The next instant, she disappeared from there and reappeared behind the Elder.

Simultaneously, she raised her hand, touched his back, and whispered.

Before Elder could move his reddish scythe, she silently tapped her foot and disappeared from there once again.

A moment later, she reappeared beside Charles and stared at the monstrous Elder with wide eyes.

Just when Charles was about to reply, a fierce ripple appeared in the surroundings.

The next moment, a terrifying pressure descended on the battlefield and pushed Natalia's and Charles's body towards backward!

Just when he was about to tell Natalia to begin her attack, Elder opened his mouth and let out a screeching noise all of a sudden.

Hearing her words, Charles glanced at Natalia and soon froze as he saw a large cut on her right arm!

Blood droplets drenched her arm, moved towards her forearm, and were constantly dripping down from her hand!

But she remained motionless like an ice queen and didn't even take her eye off from Elder.

Upon seeing her wounded condition, an unknown aching feeling appeared in Charles's heart.

"You should never let your guard down during the battle." Noticing his gaze, Natalia couldn't help but scold him a little.

But she soon realized that this kid was just a 20 years old boy and sighed helplessly.

Charles instantly woke up from the shock as he heard her words, placed his hand on the wounded area, and cast [Soul Heal] spell.

"It won't work. His red scythe is infused with thick 'Chaos' power. Your healing spell isn't strong enough to purify the chaos essences."

Saying so, Natalia raised her other hand and pointed it at her wounded area.
