Fire Mage Chapter 215

Chapter 215: Ally
In the meantime, the clone Charles opened his eyes, conjured a ball of flame, and made it float in mid-air.
Then, he took out a book, quill, and an ink bottle from his space ring and placed them on the ground.
He began to mimic the real Charles's method!
'Previously, I acted without even making any plan and ended up revealing too much information about me... If the real 'me' didn't warn me, I might have made too many mistakes and alerted the enemy... No, the enemy might have already alerted by my earlier actions.' A frown appeared on his face.
He took the quill, dipped it into the black ink bottle before opening the notebook, and started to write.
'I have to find more information about this mysterious 'Elder.' Then, I will try and look for his whereabouts. As long as I capture him, I will have some lead about where to find 'Omen.' But if I didn't...' He raised his eyebrows as he stopped the quill pen and soon smiled.
'If I didn't get any information about this mysterious 'Elder,' I have to change my target... Foster Family... They must have some tie with the Divine Order members...'
'Rank-4 [Mystic Brewer] Stephen... He definitely knew someone from Divine Order... He is the one who urged Bella to auction his potion urgently...'
'I also need to search for any clue about Vivian, a Destiny Conquerors Organization member. I have a vague feeling that this Vivian... No, the other foreign consciousness who possessed Eric's body might have some connection with the mysterious black-robed skeleton from the 'past' vision. He is the one who gave a red gem and Spirit Hex card to Ivy... That skeleton definitely has some ill intention against me...'
As he started to write more on the notebook, he became more confident in completing this mission.
A few minutes later, he closed the notebook, stored it in his space ring, and soon turned his gaze towards the door.
At that moment, he perceived someone was walking towards his hut from the right side alley and furrowed his brows.
Within a few seconds, the person appeared in front of the hut's wooden door and knocked twice.

"Who is it?" Charles stood up from the stone slab and asked.
Simultaneously, he used [Sleight of Mystery Hand] skill and opened the door.
The next instant, he saw a slender woman in her late twenties stood at the entrance and was staring back at him with her scarlet eyes.
'Destiny Lady!'
Upon seeing her dazzling face, Charles's heart thumped widely. She had flawless, white skin glowing healthy pink and rich, delicate lips. She was charming, with a seductive and glamorous look. Her chest area was bulging in her black sheath dress and appeared captivating.
Charles's eyes wandered as he stared at her curved body for a moment and soon felt the same strange feeling from his heart.
Thump! Thump! Thumb!
Even his breath became abnormal!
'What is happening to me? Is she using some bewitching skill? Moreover, how did she find out my location?' He started at her warily and soon got ready to battle at any moment.
Meanwhile, Destiny Lady curled her lips upward and spoke with an amusing smile on her face.
"Lord Oswald asked me to help you complete the 'Successor' mission."
How could she be unaware of his strange behavior?
But she didn't try to tease him, though. Instead, she maintained her cold expression and waited for his response.
Meanwhile, Charles calmed his inner emotions and furrowed his brows.
'The Holem's Crown did? I did hear that some help would arrive from the 'real me'... But I didn't expect it to be her.'
Then, he straightened his back and nodded his head.
"Please, come in." His voice was a little bit softer than usual, which surprised Destiny Lady a little.
She blinked her scarlet eyes twice, walked into the small hut, and glanced around in dim yellow light.
One stone slab, one mud pot at the corner for storing water, and two dusty wooden chairs were placed in the small hut.
She even saw a few holes on the top and became stunned.
"Why do you choose this hut?" She couldn't hide her curiosity and asked.
After returning from the old mansion, she had been tailing him using her 'fate mark' spell and even observed his weird action in Baron Spencer's mansion.

'Why is he acting abnormally? Charles wouldn't act like this unless he was up to something... Something big...' Her eyes flashed.
On the other hand, Charles went near the two dusty chairs, took out an old cloth from his space ring, wiped the dust, and started to speak.
"There is nothing special about this hut, My Lady. I want to keep a low profile for a while."
While speaking, he took the best chair among the two, placed it at the center, and added.
"Please have a seat, My Lady."
Although he acted politely, wariness and slight nervousness could be seen on his face.
Meanwhile, Destiny Lady nodded her head, went near the wooden chair, and sat on it before speaking.
"Just call me Natalia." She paused for a moment and then added with a smile.
"I'm not after you now, so you don't need to worry about it."
On the other hand, Charles wore a forced smile, placed the other chair on the opposite, and sat down.
"Okay," Charles then nodded his head and asked.
"What do you know about Divine Order Organization?"
In such a short time, he controlled his emotions and became clearheaded!
Meanwhile, Natalia was a little surprised by his calm attitude and nodded her head in approval.
'This kid truly is a strange one. Even my beautiful appearance couldn't distract his thinking. In just a few seconds, he returned to his calm self and acting like a mature guy.' Thinking inwardly, she stared at his handsome oval face for a second and spoke.
"They are not killing maniacs as the Churches say, Charles. If you look carefully, each of their actions caused some drastic change in the fates of this world... No, their actions even caused some change in the Destiny itself." She suddenly paused for a moment and asked.
"Do you understand what I mean?"
At that moment, confusion appeared on Charles's face.
"Are they planning to change the Iron Kingdom's Destiny? Wait... They want to create an unknown Destiny, right... But which one is the true Destiny?"
Charles's question made Natalia raise her eyebrows a little.
She soon closed her scarlet eyes and responded.
"That's not hard to answer, Charles. Let's take Rhea as an example. By the words of prophecy, she was supposed to go through hundreds of trials, save citizens from hunger and fear, receive the blessing of four ancestral spirits, and become the Queen of Iron. No, I'm not certain about the final part..."
"But everything changed when Ancient Mage took her as his disciple. Her fate is constantly influenced by Ancient Mage's actions and moving in an unknown direction. To this day, she didn't lend a hand to save the kingdom's citizens, and all of them are still hiding in fear. Kidnappings, killings are constantly happening everywhere. Not only that, but the Ruler Caste members are also putting so much pressure on the commoners. Now, this itself is proof that the true Destiny is changing."
As the real Charles heard her words from the Inner World, his pupil shrank.
'Am I the one who is changing the true Destiny? Not the Divine? Wait... the 'Divine' is after her life... But it needs some outsider to cause a variation in the Destiny itself... Otherwise, it might fail to achieve its goal... But my goal is also to make her the Queen of Iron Kingdom, right?... '
'Is it why the other party tried to kill me when I brought the Midday potion and become a Rank-4 Shape-shifter? The divine seemed to have tried to use me and created a big variation... but when it noticed that I'm already aware of its existence and also trying to rank up, it chooses to eliminate me...'
'Thankfully, the Rodia's Gem or Ivy seemed to have expected its earlier plan and created 'coincidences' to warn me... If the 'coincidences' didn't happen in the auction house, I wouldn't have tried to steal the potion... And, I might still be a Rank-3 Mystic... Divine is afraid of my growth.' A cold expression appeared on his face.
