Child Of Destiny Chapter 555

"I guess you guys already forget the fear you received from men," said Leonard while taking a couple of steps forward.
He was surrounded from all sides but he seemed to be fearless regardless of his current predicament. In fact, he even became more aggressive than his usual self.
Meanwhile, the groups surrounding him suddenly felt that their bodies became tensed when they saw Leonard take his steps; especially that trio of Tigerkins in front of him who unconsciously took a couple of steps backward in response.
"Heh!" Leonard couldn't but smirked when he saw their actions before quickly adding. "But I guess some of you still remember."
Hearing that, the three Tigerkins immediately became furious since they knew that they were tricked. "B*st*rd!"
Pfft!
The leader of the 8-man group tried so hard to suppress his laughter when he saw what happened but failed to do so. "The fearless Cougar Brothers got intimidated!? That's a rare sight to see!"
Hearing that, the leader of the Cougar Brothers three a sharp glare at that guy before sneering at him. "Oh~! Since the mighty Silver is here, how about you take the lead on this hunt? Let's see if you really live up to your reputation of being the number one Hunter of the Primal Kingdom."
"Tsk! Cowards," muttered the Bearkin who was the famous Commander of the Predators Adventurer Team.
His voice was quite low and quiet but it was still heard by the other players present in the place, especially the Cougar Brothers and the 8-man party in the distance.
"Hah~!?"
Those groups immediately turned their heads at the Bearkin before throwing their hostile gazes at him.
On the other hand, the 'Twin Claws' and the mysterious hooded guy ignored the first three groups and just locked their gazes at Leonard.
Leonard didn't know whether he was going to laugh or cry when he saw that the other groups were trying to pick a fight against each other.
But given his impatient and fearless behavior, he didn't have a plan to wait for them to calm down.
Moreover, he was also in the middle of a quest and was currently waiting for Shin to give him some orders.
'Tsk! I still need to keep an eye on that guy,' thought Leonard to himself while taking a quick glance at Sildra and Archimedes.
'And that should be my current priority,' he added inside his head while turning his attention back to the guys surrounding him.

Ding!
And as if confirming his thoughts, Leonard suddenly got a message from Shin.
Sickarius: Hey, Leo! Make sure not to let the other dude run away. He is our current target.
Reading the content of the message, Leonard couldn't help but smirk a little. "Well, our boss finally gave his word. Now, I don't have time to play with these guys anymore. I need to wrap this up as soon as possible."
"Too bad, I want to humor them a little bit," he muttered to himself before releasing a much more powerful aura than he was releasing before.
Boom!
"Sorry guys, I can no longer wait for you to decide who is going first. So, how about you all come at me together?" asked Leonard in an aggressive tone.
Roar!
At the same time, three of his Elemental Beast Companions suddenly appeared behind him.
One of them was the Golden Mammoth who was in its half-human form. And the other Elemental Beasts were a Bearkin with a muscular body and a Lionkin who had a blazing mane.
'Elemental Beast Fusion: Triple Fusion'
Then the three suddenly fused together right after being summoned.
And quickly after fusing together, they suddenly entered Leonard's body, also fusing with his body.
'Elemental Beast Possession: Supreme Heavenly Behemoth'
Boom!
Then an even more powerful pressure was released from his body and crushed on the bodies of the groups surrounding him.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
One the other hand, the opposing groups released their respective suppressing force as they tried to fight back the pressure crushing on them.
"Ho~! So, he really reached a whole new level just like what I heard," muttered the hooded guy while staring at Leonard.
And after a few moments, he also released a powerful aura of his own, which immediately clashed with the one that Leonard was currently releasing.
Bang!
"Huh!?" Leonard was taken aback when he sensed the sudden appearance of that powerful aura.
"So, this guy is also reaching that stage, huh?" he muttered to himself as he cast his gaze on the hooded guy.
Then his words were suddenly cut off when he sensed a sudden gust of wind coming from his side.
"Heh~! You are still a hundred years too early to catch me off-guard, Junpei," said Leonard while dodging a sword strike that was coming from the side.
Brushing past him was a Fallen Human Swordmaster of the so-called 'Great 8 Mountain Dwellers', one of the most famed Adventurer Teams of the Primal Kingdom.

Then Leonard suddenly swung his right arm downwards, striking down with the battle-axe that he was holding.
His counterattack was very fast and perfectly timed, making it hard for the Swordmaster named Junpei to dodge.
Swoosh!
Bang!
Fortunately, a fireball hit Leonard's battle-axe and changed its course.
"But this has never been a one-on-one battle in the first place," sneered Junpei as he quickly stomped on the ground so that he could halt his forward charge before he completely brushed past Leonard.
"Hup!"
He then held his greatsword with both of his hands before swinging it towards Leonard while pivoting in the same direction.
Junpei was taking advantage of the awkward position that Leonard currently had to throw a deadly counterattack of his own.
"Heh!"
But as he swung his greatsword forward, his eyes suddenly caught Leonard grinning evilly as if he was expecting the incoming attack.
Then Junpei saw that the ground beneath their feet suddenly sank starting from the spot where Leonard's axe landed.
Boom!
Then a powerful shockwave was sent in every direction, pushing everything around Leonard.
"Sh*t!"
Junpei was immediately sent flying right after he was hit by the shockwave explosion. And while he was still flying in the air, he suddenly saw Leonard chasing after him with a single leap.
Swoosh!
Naturally, Jumpie's teammates were not going to let him get taken down easily like that.
The Wolfkin Master Hunter, who was also the leader of the group, suddenly appeared between Leonard and Junpei with his arms crossed in front of his chest alongside his daggers.
On the other hand, the Foxkin Master Shaman and the Human Bishop of his party were giving their leader a series of buffs before he clashed against the monster in human flesh in front of him.
Swoosh! Swoosh!
Meanwhile, the Tigerkin and Lion kind of their group simultaneously appeared on each side of Leonard, while brandishing their respective weapons at the same time.
And coordinating with their actions, the White Elf Master Elementalist sent a barrage of spells that were curving up in the air, sealing Leonard's path of retreat.
"Not too bad for a team combination move," praised Leonard when he saw himself being cornered.
But he immediately sneered at them the very next second. "Unfortunately, perfect coordination was useless in front of absolute strength."
Tightening his grip on both of his battle-axes, before throwing them in a circular motion and opposite directions.
While those axes were flying in circles, a pair of gusting winds dragged alongside their movements and created a spinning tornado with dual air currents that were moving in opposite directions.
Swoosh!
The spells flying towards Leonard were immediately shredded into mana particles when they came in contact with the tornado.
On the other hand, the three Beastmen immediately abandoned the idea of attacking Leonard from all sides after seeing the sudden appearance of the strange tornado.
The Tigerkin and Lionkin immediately canceled their respective skills before escaping from the affected area of Leonard's skill.
At the same time, their leader forcefully halted his charge before picking up Junpei in the air before he was dragged by the clashing air currents of the tornado.
"Hahaha! So much for being the 'Great 8', let us brothers show you how it is done!" said a member of the 'Cougar Brothers' as they broke through the gusting winds of the tornado surrounding Leonard.
"As straightforward as ever. But you should have done it better."
Unfortunately, they were immediately greeted by Leonard's mocking voice right after they broke through the opposing air currents of the tornado around him.
BOOM!
With a powerful stomp of his foot, the ground beneath Leonard sank quite deeply before a shockwave was sent outwards, pushing the three Tigerkins backward.
Being caught slightly off-guard, the Cougar Brothers were forced to take a couple of steps backward right after they were hit by that shockwave.
It might not be enough to send them flying but it was more than enough to push them towards the revolving air currents of the tornado behind them.
Understanding what was going to happen, the Cougar Brothers had no other choice but to use their respective movement skills to escape their current predicament.
"Idi*ts," said the Bearkin from the sideline after seeing the first two groups fail their attempts.
"Yep, yep!" said one of the 'Twin Claws' while watching the scene from their own position.
Pfft!
Meanwhile, the hooded person was trying his best to suppress his laughter as he agreed with the remarks of the previous two.
Then they saw Leonard walk out of the spinning tornado casually while carrying his battle-axes in each of his hands.
After that, he looked at the three groups with an inviting gesture before asking. "How about you guys? Also want to test the waters?"
