Child Of Destiny Chapter 470

Shin was about to contact Arthur and Leonard to ask for some assistance. But he immediately rejected the idea almost immediately when a sudden thought entered his mind.
"D*mn! If I asked them to help me with my current identity, then my dual-identity is most likely going to get exposed to Big Sis," muttered Shin to himself before falling into deep thought.
"Should I ask for some help from Brother Lawless and Brother Faker then?" he added while slightly shaking his head to the side.
But that thought only lasted for a moment before rejecting that idea as well.
"Those two said that they are going to be busy preparing for the School Transfer Documents. After all, they were said that they were a part of the 'Student Exchange Program' from their continent," he added before feeling dejected.
"So, that means that I'm all by myself in this situation," Shin shook his head helplessly the moment he realized his current situation.
But while he was in the middle of thinking, Solus suddenly interrupted his thoughts. "Don't worry. My retainer can help you on this task."
The moment she said those words, Chaotic Luck who finally had a peaceful time, suddenly got an unexpected system notification. And when he saw that, the expression on his face suddenly turned weird as he could already see the future ahead of him.
...
After a long time of contemplation, Shin could only think of a single solution for his current predicament. And that was to pull the Central Order towards his side.
That way, he could at least close the gap between him and the powerful force of the Undying Guild.
The only problem was how he was going to do it.
This situation made Shin caught in another difficult situation. After a long time of thinking, Shin finally came up with a single solution. And that was to find the reason why the Central Order wanted to take this place from the hands of the Undying.
At first, he thought that it was because of the same reason as the Undying Guild. But after learning from Solus that aside from him, Chaotic Luck and the person who took her Core, there was no other player who managed to uncover her existence.
Meaning, the Central Order discovered something else in this place.

Thinking for a long time, Shin decided to ask Solus if there was something else that was noteworthy in this place aside from her.
Solus was also not sure about that. Because aside from being a sacred place that would serve as a platform for her rebirth as an Elemental Spirit, this place didn't have any other purpose.
There might be a strong formation protecting this place, but it was going to be useless after her rebirthing process.
Getting nothing, Shin was forced to explore the whole Ancient Ruins to see if he could find whatever attracted the interest of the Central Order in this place. But he just wasted his time running around since he didn't find anything even after flipping the whole Ruins upside-down.
"D*mn! This is going to be quite tricky," cursed Shin as he took a seat on a stone platform that he found.
"If only I have some connections to dig up the truth behind this ongoing war," he started complaining as he started to find the disadvantages of a solo player.
A players' battle capability might be important, but having good connections was also critical when playing this game. After all, there were still some limits on what a single player could do; especially when it came to a situation like this.
He tried to look for a good information dealer from the connections that he currently had. Unfortunately, nothing was helpful to him.
He also braced himself to ask for some information from Shiella, but he also didn't get anything from her since she was currently offline – probably, she was still too busy with the problems of their family business in the real world.
As for the Assassin Union, Shin didn't dare to ask for some help from them. They might be one of the most reliable information dealers of the game. But hiring them was quite expensive.
And that expensiveness was not in a form of money, but something that had an equivalent value. Moreover, Shin was not familiar with dealing with them which was why he was not willing to hire them for their service yet.
After all, he couldn't risk leaking the information that he needed to other people who might also be interested in it.
During his rest, Hanzo suddenly appeared beside him and said. "Hey, Kiddo! Looks like your luck finally arrived."

Shin just looked at him lazily because he was too tired running around the whole Ancient Ruins.
Earlier, he actually re-summoned his Reaper's Retainer to help him look around. But every time they came back to him for their report, all he got were disappointing findings.
Understanding that look from Shin, Hanzo couldn't help but smirk a little before saying with a mystifying tone. "Kiddo, what if I tell you that this place that I found is something that has a temptation that even you will have a hard time resisting."
Hearing that tone, Shin couldn't help but feel a little interested. He raised one of his eyebrows and looked at Hanzo before asking. "Really? What is it then?"
Hanzo suddenly wore a mysterious grin before replying. "I guess it is better if you see it for yourself."
After that, Hanzo made a snap with his fingers which created a void gate behind. And when Shin was that void gate, he immediately stood up from his seat before entering it without any hint of hesitation.
...
"What the F*ck!" Shin couldn't believe what was in front of him after walking out the void gate that Hanzo had created.
It was a huge crystalized 'rock' with blue color.
Shin was not sure how big it was. But from what he could size, it was definitely a gigantic one since it was extending from deep from the ground and up the ceiling of the cage that he was in.
He tried to close his eyes and expand his senses to feel how sure this thing was. But no matter how hard he tried he couldn't see the end of its height as well as its width.
"D*mn! This is definitely a Superior Mana Vein!" said Shin as he opened his virtual map to see his current location. And that was when he discovered that this place was not that far from the Ancient Ruins.
"Now, everything is starting to make sense," muttered Shin as he started to see all of the details in the table.
"Immortal discovered the existence of Solus and immediately mobilized his group to take care of her. But while they were clearing the area, they suddenly discovered this huge gold mine!"
"And when they were trying to seize it for themselves, the Central Order somehow smelled this money-printing machine and decided to interfere so that they could take it instead."
After that, he paused for a moment before looking at the spot of the virtual map where the Ancient Ruins was located and continued. "Because of that, this place became the center of the war since it is going to be a good place that can act as their base."
Then he started smiling bitterly before muttering to himself. "Such crafty guys, using the Ancient Ruins as a front to hide the fact about this place. These guys sure know how to use the public and online platforms to their advantage."
Now that Shin knew the root of this war, he was finally able to form a good plan around it. But he also needed to be careful at playing his cards.
After all, his current quest was also at risk in this. And if he messed up even for a little, then he would surely do a lot of things in the process.
During this time, Grimrace and Vladimir also arrived in this place using their own means.
"How about you leak this information in the public? That way, those guys are going to be in chaos and that will give us the freedom to do whatever we want," said Grimrace right after arriving and while looking greedily at the huge Mana Vein in front of him.
Hearing that, Hanzo couldn't help but smirk mockingly before saying. "Idiot! What freedom are you talking about? If he did that, then the attention of those guys is going to be directed to us because of the commotion caused by the rebirthing ceremony of the Fallen Goddess."
On the other hand, Vladimir flicked his long silver hair to the side before sneering at the two. "Whatever happens, I'll make sure that I will be the center attraction when that time comes."
Meanwhile, Shin ignored the three Elemental Spirits while formulating a good plan inside his mind. And after a long time of contemplating, he was finally able to wear a huge grin with his lips before muttering with an evil tone.
"Looks like this party is going to be more interesting than I originally thought."
