Child Of Destiny Chapter 410

Swoosh!
Boom!
A pillar of light suddenly shot down from the sky and landed at the backyard of the Springfield Household. And naturally, the guards who were roaming around the place were able to quickly notice such an eye-catching sight. So, they immediately rushed towards that direction to check what was that pillar of light.
Meanwhile, in the place where that pillar of light fell into, Shin's body was lying in the middle of a small crater created by the impact.
Shin's real consciousness was still in a deep sleep state, so Uno was still the one who was currently controlling the body.
"D*mn it! This body really suffered quite a lot of damage. Tsk! Now, I need to trouble myself to prevent it from completely collapsing and avoid destroying its foundation," muttered Uno as he struggled to stand up from the ground.
And when finally pulled himself up, he immediately sat down on the ground with a crossed-leg position before stabbing the different part of his body before closing his eyes and taking a deep breath to enter a meditation state.
It didn't take long for the guards to arrive in that place and discovered him.
"Young Master Shin!" shouted by one of the guards the moment he saw 'Shin' sitting in the middle of the crater. And without any hesitation he rushed towards Shin while saying to the other guards behind. "Call some medical team and tell them to come here as soon as possible."
At the same time, Uno suddenly smiled when he heard that and muttered to himself. "It looks like it is finally time for me to take some rest. I hope this idi*t can take advantage of the benefit that I give to his body."
After that, 'his consciousness' started fading away as he went back to sleep.
...
The next day, Shin woke up on his bed. And after waking up, he started at the ceiling for a moment before an unbearable headache suddenly assaulted his head.
"Ugh!" he clasped his head quite tightly as he endured the pain that he was suffering. And while he was doing that, he suddenly heard Grandmaster Benn's voice beside his bed. "Finally awake?"
Shin tried to get up from his lying position and sat up on his bed. But before he could even do that, Grandmaster Benn suddenly released some gentle Mental Energy from his body and sent it to Shin, sending him back to his lying position.
"Don't force yourself too hard. You still need to take some more rest to recover from your injuries," said Grandmaster Benn without looking at Shin as he continued to read the book on his hand.

"What happened?" muttered Shin as he held his head with his right hand.
Hearing that, Grandmaster Benn suddenly closed the book that he was reading and looked at Shin while saying. "On what? On the mission or to yourself?"
Shin's body suddenly froze the moment he heard that. It was because scenes started flashing inside his head which also made his headache to turn for the worse.
It took some time for Shin to alleviate the pain that he was suffering before he started organizing his thoughts. A moment later, he suddenly became confused why he was inside his room. "Wait! What am I doing here!? I clearly remember that I lost against that opponent."
Then he turned his head at Grandmaster Benn before asking. "Did I become possessed by my demon again?"
Grandmaster Benn squinted his eyes for a moment while looking at Shin before asking. "Do you really can't remember what happened?"
Shin stared at Grandmaster Benn with a confused look on his face while trying to remember what happened. And a few seconds of thinking, Shin immediately said. "I am not sure. But from what I can remember, I know that I got teleported on the enemy's base and battled out an intense fight with a very strong expert who was in the 'late phase' of the 'Ethereal Opening Stage'."
He paused for a moment before continuing. "But I am also sure that I lost in that battle. I can even remember myself losing consciousness after getting hit by a very strong attack. I also thought that I already died at that time."
After saying that, Shin turned his head at the ceiling once again before asking for another time. "Did I really get possessed once again?"
Grandmaster Benn stared at Shin for a few more seconds before saying. "At first it is what we are thinking. But the fact that you came back here using the teleportation talisman proves that it is not the case."
Shin suddenly turned at Grandmaster Benn with a confused look on his face. He opened and closed his mouth as he was trying to say something but no words came out.
Grandmaster Benn raised his eyebrow a little higher when he saw that look at Shin. He stayed silent for a moment before closing his eyes while saying. "Take a look at the current state of your 'Dantian'."
Shin knitted his eyebrows after hearing that. But he still complied and closed his eyes before casting his consciousness inside his body. And the moment he did that, he suddenly became shocked at what he saw. "What the hell!? What happened to my dantian?"

Right now, the state of Shin's dantian is currently in a huge mess. The 'Sacred Qi' and 'Demonic Qi' who were supposedly doing a certain balance by circling around each other, were now currently in the middle of a huge war.
Moreover, Shin could also tell that the Demonic Qi inside his dantian was much more powerful compared to how it used to be. And due to that extra power, its nature became even more berserk. And because of this, the Demonic Qi wanted to gain the dominance inside Shin's dantian so it started waging a war with the Sacred Qi.
But that Sacred Qi was not a pushover either. What's more, it was the original 'resident' of this place so it was natural for it to fight for its home.
Unfortunately, the Demonic Qi was currently much more powerful compared to it, so the favor of the war was currently leaning towards it. The Sacred Qi kept on being pushed by the Demonic Qi due to its repeated assault.
Seeing that, Shin wanted to do something so that he could prevent the Sacred Qi from being kicked out of his dantian. But before he did anything about it, a strange roar suddenly came out of nowhere before a gusting flow of Mental Energy suddenly rushed inside his dantian.
Right after arriving, this Mental Energy suddenly aided the Sacred Qi to prevent it from being kicked out. And with its help, the Sacred Qi immediately regained its footing and started pushing the Demonic Qi back from its 'territory'.
After a few more moments, the balance inside Shin's dantian was back again to its original state. And when the Mental Energy was done with its job, it left Shin's dantian once again before going back to its original place.
Shin watched the entire scene with a dumbfounded look on his face before muttering to himself. "Looks like the 'Jade Kirin Scripture' given by Senior Brother is quite worth it. I guess I need to commend him a little for that."
After that, he casted his consciousness outside once again before looking at Grandmaster Benn for another time while asking. "Is there something I need to take note of in this situation?"
Grandmaster Benn couldn't help but become a little skeptical at Shin's calmness before saying. "Heh! It looks like you are not too worried about your current state, huh?"
Shin smiled bitterly for a moment before replying. "The fact that the Old Geezer is not here to scold me out, proves that my situation is not that bad. There might be a good way out of it. What's more, it looks like you are not that worried either, so I guess my condition is still fine."
Grandmaster Benn laughed a little bitterly when he heard that before saying. "You are still quite sharp despite being in that state, I guess."
He then paused for a moment before adding. "The state of your dantian is quite special. We old-timers called it 'Cultivation Antipathy', but it is more commonly known now as 'Qi Confliction'."
"It is a special state where two or more Internal Qi clash inside some people's dantian. Which means, this state is only applicable to Martial-Artists like yourself who possessed more than one type of Internal Qi."
"This state could only occur whenever the balance between the two Internal Qi is broken; something like what you are expressing right now; your Demonic Qi gains a lot of powers right now so it is much stronger than your Sacred Qi. And due to that, it wants to rule your dantian alone, so this 'Qi Confliction' suddenly occurs."
After that, Grandmaster Benn suddenly paused what he was saying before standing up from his seat. Then he crossed his hands behind him while saying. "If you want to know more about it, then you should ask Old Plum for more details. After all, he also experienced the same thing before."
He took another pause for a moment to turn his body around, planning to leave that room. And while he was walking towards the exit, he suddenly added. "And you don't have to worry much about your injuries since you are already fine by now. It was all thanks to the first aid that you have done."
"You can start moving again after a few more hours of rest, so you don't have to rush about things. Just stay lying there and wait for your body to fully recover its peak strength. After that, come find us later – we have something we want to discuss with you later."

Due to a series of misfortune, the squad is teleported to an alternate land, called Osaethar, that is absolutely no different from reality except for the existence of magic and superhuman strength.
