Child Of Destiny Chapter 336

...…
The Military Force of the Soaring Continent was one of the strongest forces around the world because their Military Circle was the united force of all the powerful families residing in the whole continent.
But even if that was on the surface, it was actually different on the inside. Since the whole force was composed of powerful branch forces from different families, some tensions were meant to be formed in between these forces. After all, a mountain cannot contain two tigers; much less having a bunch of them.
Due to this reason, the Military Circle of the Soaring Continent was divided into two major divisions. The first division was composed of Aristocratic Families and Martial-Art Clans, Mentalist Families. On the other hand, the families in the second division came from the slightly weaker families.
Since the families from the first major division had a long history, every one of them were quite powerful. And naturally, most of their family members were talented who had quite an edge over the others. Due to this, most of the high-ranking positions in the military came from these certain families.
This was the common political hierarchy on everything; if a certain family was powerful and strong enough to suppress the others, then they were qualified enough to take the leading position on anything.
And this was the thing that the families from the second major division hated the most. Since they were being suppressed by the so-called 'talents', the members from these families started to loathe the members from the first division families.
They were raised this way. So, it was natural for them to hate these so-called talented individuals.
Nicolas Northwood came from one of these families which was why he hated any Mighty Chosen One that he met. Especially when he had a first-hand experience of their unrivaled talents.
Despite all of his hard work, he was still being suppressed by them. And he believed that it was because of those crazy talents of theirs.
At this moment, Nicolas was currently heading to the room that he chose for the sparring match. But as he was currently in a bad mood as he walked towards the room. "D*mn it! He dared to underestimate me that much?"
"Did he think that I am that weak to let that skinny newcomer face me in battle? D*mn you, Arthur! This time, I am going to make sure that you are going to regret betting your ranking title in the line."
...
Meanwhile, Arthur and Molton were currently in the training room while waiting for Nicolas.
"Senior Brother, I am actually quite curious about something," said Molton as he looked at Arthur who was currently lying leisurely on a gym's bench chair.
Arthur turned his head at him and said. "Ask away."
"Why is this place called the gamer's tower when this place was only used for training?" asked Molton almost instantly.
Hearing that, Arthur suddenly started chuckling before answering. "It is because pretty much everyone in this place are gamers."
Then he paused for a moment before continuing. "The first five floors of this building are only facilities with some basic training equipment, so it is natural for you to see it as a typical training place."

"But when you reach floors higher than the fifth one, things are going to be a little different. Most of the training equipment on those floors are quite advanced with some virtual rooms meant for special training."
Molton nodded his head and asked another question. "Is that the only difference between the higher floors and the lower ones?"
Arthur thought for a moment before giving his answer. "Starting from 6th floor, your strength is being measured by both of your Real World and Virtual World battle prowess. And most of the training equipment on the higher floors are meant to measure both of those."
"And can become a Regular by reaching the higher floors?" followed Molton almost immediately.
Arthur was pursing his lips while responding with it. "Basically, yes. But it is not that simple because you needed to be strong in the Real World and equally skilled in the Virtual World."
"If your strength on both worlds are not in match, then you can't become a regular in this place. After all, you can't pass the test designated on those floors if you are only strong on a single world."
Then he took a brief pause before continuing. "As for becoming a Regular, you need to at least reach the 25th floor before you become one."
Molton was nodding his head repeatedly as he listened at Arthur's words. But while he was recollecting his thoughts, he suddenly received a message from his advance watch.
"Huh!? Sis got caught already?" muttered Molton to himself after reading the content of the message. After that, he turned his head at Arthur and immediately said. "I guess, we are already running out of time, Senior Brother."
And before Arthur could even ask why, he immediately added. "The person that is going to bring me home is about to arrive."
Hearing that, Arthur suddenly jumped up from his seat while looking at him with an astounded expression on his face. "Eh!? Already? How come they know that you are in here? I thought you sneaked out from your home?"
Molton didn't reply at him directly and just raised his right arm while shaking it; he was showing his advance watch.
Arthur suddenly slapped his forehead as he immediately picked up what Molton was implying the moment he saw that. Then he started clicking his tongue repeatedly while shaking his head.
A few moments later, Arthur patted Molton's shoulder while saying with a serious tone. "That is why you are still too green."
Then he paused for a moment to raise his right arm and showed his advance watch to Molton. "From now on, you should learn from me – buy a specialized advance watch like this secretly and link it with your original one."
"That way, they can't track you once you sneak out once again. But at the same time, you can still send some SOS signal if ever something unexpected happened."
Hearing that, Molton's eyes suddenly turned wide as he came into a realization. "Oh~! That is Cool! As expected to Senior Brother – you are really knowledgeable."

Earlier, Molton only comply with Arthur's offer since he really wanted to fight a strong opponent as soon as possible. But right now, he had started to view him as his real Senior Brother.
After that, he looked at Arthur with a serious face before asking. "Senior Brother, can I ask you another favor?"
"Tell me, I will help you with all I got," responded Arthur without having any second thoughts.
********
There was a very beautiful teenage girl standing in the lobby of All-Gamers' Gym. And even if she didn't intend to attract anyone's attention, all of the males who were passing by couldn't help but turn their heads while walking the moment they saw her.
A moment later, a middle-aged man suddenly walked at her and said. "This is the right place, young miss. The receptionist said that he did see the young master come here."
"Did they tell you what floor is he in, Uncle Shaun? For some reason I can't contact him anymore," asked the young woman with an annoyed tone. 'Where is that st*pid brother of mine, now? I clearly told him to wait in the lobby since we are already on our way.'
Shaun immediately nodded his head and answered. "They said that he went straight to the fourth floor. And I already asked why we can't receive his signal. They said that he is probably inside a specialized training room that can block signals."
"Can you wait a little more, young miss. I am going to fetch him now," he was about to walk away after saying that.
But the young girl suddenly said. "Wait! I am coming with you. I also want to see what kind of training facilities they have on this so-called tower of gamers."
After that, they immediately headed towards the fourth floor. But the moment they arrived at that place, they became surprised at what they heard; and also annoyed at the same time.
"What!? Are you telling me that he is already not in here?" said the young woman with full of annoyance, asking one of the guys training in the hall.
"That is right, miss. He already left this place right after defeating a regular with a single punch," said the man with excitement. Then he reenacted what he saw earlier while saying. "He just throws a single punch in the air and sends a powerful invisible wave towards his opponent."
"The famous 'Gorilla' of the 25th floor didn't even stand a chance. He is immediately been defeated after that single punch; he quickly lost he consciousness after getting hit and-..."
The man wanted to say something more but the young woman immediately raised her hand to stop him from talking. Then she asked. "Then where is he now? Do you know where he is heading?"
The man thought for a moment before shrugging his shoulders while saying. "I am not sure, but he probably went straight to the 25th floor since that is what I heard from their bet."
The girl raised one of her eyebrows the moment she heard that. Then she released a helpless sigh before saying. "Aright, thank you."
After that, she walked towards Shaun who was talking to another man. "Uncle Shaun, let's go to the 25th floor – they said that he is probably on that floor."
But before she could walk away, Shaun suddenly stopped her. "Wait, young miss. This guy seemed to know something."
The girls suddenly frowned her brows before turning her head at the man talking to Shaun. And when the latter saw her looking at him, he immediately said. "For instance, are you Miss Jillian Potter?"
Hearing that, the girl further raised one of her eyebrows and asked. "How did you know my name? Who are you?"
Hearing the confirmation, the man immediately took something from his pocket and gave it to her. "Your brother told me to give this to you."
Seeing that, Shaun immediately took at the thing that the man was giving her; it was an advance watch. And after a quick inspection, he immediately nodded his head and said. "It is the advance watch of the young master."
Hearing that, Jillian's face suddenly turned solemn and looked at the man fiercely. "What is the meaning of this? Why did you have the advance watch of my brother?"
The man immediately felt that intense pressure that she was giving the moment she looked at him like that. He actually wanted to take a couple of steps backwards but he discovered that he couldn't move his entire body. What's more, he could also feel that Shaun was looking at him very fiercely.
Realizing his current situation, the man immediately used all of his strength to talk stutteringly. "P-Please d-don't misunderstand. Da-that guy j-just… give… t-this watch at me… a-and tell me… t-to give it to a girl n-named Jillian… w-who… i-is going… t-to look for him."
"H-He... even said... Da-that you need to open it... s-since he left a message for you," added by the man as he used all of his remaining strength.
Jillian didn't immediately believe him, but she quickly took the advance watch from Shaun's hands before putting her thumb on its screen. A moment later, the advance watch immediately responded.
"Authentication Confirmed. Loading the special message."
Then a virtual screen suddenly flashed in front of her and showed Molton with a lowered head while putting his hand together. Seconds later, the video started playing.
"I am sorry, Sis! But can you go back home without me for now? I think I am going to play on the outside a little more. And if you receive this message, that means I already left this building. I am really sorry~!"
After that, the video message ended.
On the other hand, Jillian was currently looking at the blank screen with a weird expression on her face.; she couldn't believe that her obedient twin brother would suddenly do something like this. 'Since when did this guy become so rebellious?'
