Seeing Shin looking too cautiously at him, the mysterious man suddenly started chuckling and said. "Relax, kid. I mean no harm. I am a guest here."

Shin raised one of his brows when he heard that and asked. "Then what are you doing inside someone else's room then?"

"I told you to relax a little, kid. You are too tense. Your body is still adjusting with your new ability. If you do something too reckless then you are just going to strain yourself," said by the man calling himself a guest.

"How about answering my question first, or introducing yourself at least?" said Shin almost instantly.

"Ugh!" But a second after he said those words, an intense pain suddenly assaulted his body and made him fall on his knees a little later.

The mysterious guy suddenly smirked at Shin the moment he saw that and said. "Told you."

Then he closed the book that he was reading and stood up from his seat before walking towards Shin while saying. "Anyway, I just happened to be passing by the garden across this room when I felt your affliction earlier, so I decided to take a look if you are having some mischief in your Martial-Arts. Fortunately, it isn't the case"

He paused for a moment to crouch down beside Shin before continuing. "But since it looks like you are in a crucial stage earlier, I decided to guard here to make sure that there will be no problem that will arise."

Shin wanted to say something but with the intense pain that he was currently suffering, it was too hard for him to even talk. And since he already exhausted himself earlier, his consciousness was starting to fade away.

'Tsk! D*mn it!' was the last thought that he had when he finally lost his consciousness and lied on the ground.

The mysterious guy clicked his tongue when he saw that and muttered. "Tch! What a stubborn kid."

Then he placed his hand on Shin's head before sending some energy at Shin to lessen the pain that tormented the latter.

And while he was doing it, Nathan suddenly appeared behind the mysterious man and said. "Isn't he pretty much like you?"

The mysterious guy didn't immediately reply to him and continued to put some of his energy to Shin. He only started to talk when he saw that pain expression on Shin's face finally relaxed. "Heh! What are you talking about? I am way stronger than him when I was his age."

Nathan shook his head and smiled bitterly before replying. "Hoh~, Are you sure about that? Or do you just want to hide his real strength?"

"Heh! What are you talking about? I am just stating the truth," said by the man while lifting Shin up from the ground and transferring him on his bed.

Nathan clicked his tongue and watched the guy a little before saying in low tone. "I didn't know what you are planning for everything that you've done so far. But are you sure about all of these?"

The man ignored him once again and put his right hand at Shin's chest before closing his eyes and feeling the state that Shin was in. And when Nathan saw that, he released a helpless sigh before taking a seat on the sofa nearby and waited for the man to finish what he was doing.

And after a few moments, the man finally reopened his eyes and turned his head at Nathan before saying. "Did you remember me doing something that I am not sure about?"

"Tch! Still the same as ever, huh? Then how about you tell me why you left your kid alone? And I didn't expect for Evangeline to agree with it either. How did you manage to convince her?" asked Nathan while knitting his brow.

The mysterious man smirked when he heard that and said. "I want him to become strong of course. And this is for his own sake, Eve can't do anything about it but to agree."

When Nathan heard that, he couldn't help but sneer at the guy. "For him to become strong and 'for his sake'? Then why not train him yourself? You even help us to maximize Arthur's talent, so why not let your son do it too. What's more, you can also let him inherit your own Martial-Arts, right? Adam?"

The mysterious guy who was actually Adam, looked at Nathan and said. "Heh! That may sound good, but I rather want him to walk his own path. Just following my footsteps is just going to delay his progress than discovering it on his own."

Adam paused for a moment as he thought about something before saying. "What's more, this kid and that rascal are different. Not just the types of their talents but also their styles of learning. So, you need to teach them based on how they can learn. Just teaching someone to learn is completely different from teaching someone to improve."

"That Arthur kid is someone that can learn a lot of things but is too lazy to do it. And quite overconfident. So, what he needs is someone that will hammer him to do some work and guide him on the path that will suit him best."

Then he turned his head at Shin as he continued. "As for this kid, he is bright and smart. So, you don't have to teach him much as he can discover a lot of things on his own. Giving him some instructions is already enough to find the direction that he needed to walk through."

"That is why I arrange some things to make Professor Plum's student; the teaching method of that Old Monster will suit his learning style after all."

Hearing all of those, Nathan started chuckling once again and said. "So much for saying all of those. Didn't you already go all the way just to set everything up? What if things didn't go your way?"

Adam sneered at Nathan after he heard that. "Heh! Aren't things still going my way? Professor Plum took this kid as his student in the end."

Nathan shook his head and said. "So much for saying that you don't want to teach your son. In truth, you are setting up paths for him while leading him in the dark. Aren't you being here is the proof of that? What's more, you only decided to train Arthur because you want your son to have a target of motivation for moving forward."

Adam started chuckling with those words and said. "You still know me better. But I only did all of those since Evangeline will not agree with my plan if I don't have some reassurance."

"As for Arthur's case, what you said is just one of the reasons; I really want to train that kid since it is pretty much rare to find a Martial-Art Prodigy with 'Foresight' talent. I just want him to see what he can do if he combines those two talents of his."

After that, he placed his right hand at Shin's chest once again before saying. "And I come here just to give this kid one last advantage before going away."

Then he closed his eyes before feeling the energies in Shin's body.

Nathan knitted his brows when he saw the serious expression that Adam was wearing when he heard those words. He wanted to ask what they mean but decided to go against it when he saw that the latter was trying to concentrate.

After a few moments, Adam started muttering without opening his eyes. "So, they really spread out in his body, huh?" when he found a lot of dark energies scattered all around Shin's body; they were hiding too deeply, making it hard for anyone to find them.

But unfortunately, trying to hide from Adam's senses was an impossible thing to do. So, he spread his consciousness on every part of Shin's body, trying to look for all of the dark energies that were still hiding.

And when he was finally able to pinpoint all of the dark energies inside Shin's body, Adam placed his other hand on top of Shin's abdomen area before locating Shin's dantian.

A moment later, Adam gently inserted a drop of his Internal Qi in Shin's Dantian. And the moment Shin's Sacred Internal Qi sense something invading their territory, they immediately started to retaliate and try to kick out this foreign existence.

Unfortunately, Adam's black Internal Qi was too strong for them so they were immediately warded off before they could even get near it.

After that, Adam controlled that Internal Qi to push all of Shin's Internal Qi to the side of Shin's dantian together with the 'Golden Core' that was sitting at the very center of the dantian. And with that, Adam made Shin's Internal Qi to shove on half of the dantian.

Then Adam compressed the drop of his Internal Qi, creating yet another 'Core' at the center of the emptied halve of Shin's dantian. And when this Black Core was created, it started sucking all of the scattered dark energies inside Shin's body and let them fill the other half of the dantian while also turning its color into crimson.

But that didn't end there, because when all of the dark energies finally completed filling up the other side of Shin's dantian, the Internal Qi on the white side and the dark energies on the black immediately declared a war on each other.

Fortunately, Adam was fast enough to control both of them and let the two sides circled inside Shin's dantian. Then the two sides started chasing with one another, creating a whirlpool with a never-ending cycle. After that, a balance was built and made the contradicting energies to calm down completely which also created some strange state of harmony.

And with all of those, Shin's dantian was now housing a pair Internal Qi with contradicting natures. One was holy with a calm and tranquil state while the other was evil with a wild and raging nature. And each side had a core that centralized in them; a golden and a crimson core respectively.

When Adam saw that there were no problems anymore, he finally retrieved his hands from Shin's chest and abdomen areas.

He took a moment to relax before looking at Nathan while saying. "His Dantian now has 2 types of Internal Qi; the Sacred Qi that he nurtured with 'Yin-Yang Arts' and the Demonic Qi from the 'Seed of Hatred' that he already conquered."

"He will surely ask what happened. Just tell him that it is his 'Yin-Yang Arts' reacting to the new power of his body which is the 'Sacred Diamond Bones'. Of course, you also need to tell the Old Monster what happened here for him to be on the same page."

After a sight pause, he quickly added with a cheeky tone. "And also, don't not tell him about the arrangements that I have done to avoid some misunderstanding."

Nathan released a helpless sigh before saying. "This is turning into a drag."

"And you are still saying that you don't want to guide his kid?" sneered Nathan.

Adam chuckled once again and said. "Just treat it as me giving this kid some early birthday present. Me and Evangeline are going away for a while after all-…"

He trailed his words for a moment as his tone turned serious. "We need to deal with some things so I need you to take care of our son while we are gone. I am not sure when we are able to come back, but make sure to take a good care of him or else Evangeline will beat you up."

After that, he started walking out of the room while adding. "I am counting on you."

Then he suddenly disappeared on the next moment.

Meanwhile, Nathan started the spot where Adam disappeared before shaking his head with a bitter smile. "What a drag. He is always giving me some trouble every time I see him."
