Few seconds before the explosion. Whitie broke through the blockade of the ghost soldiers and release roar towards Shin's direction. Then a golden embryo suddenly covered Shin's entire body. This is Whitie's new skill.
'Pet Skill: Holy Blessings'
--------------------
Holy Blessings(Active): Cast a 3-meter radius holy light on a single target within the 15-meter radius away from 'Whitie'.
All the allies inside the holy light will receive a +20% buff to all stats that will last for five minutes, and a barrier that will absorb the 90% of the total incoming damage and will last for 10 seconds.
Cooldown: 20 minutes
---------------------
BOOOM!!!
A powerful explosion exploded above Shin's head and planning to devour him, unfortunately it is blocked by the golden barrier surrounding Shin. But he still received a massive damage due to it.
-30 500
The pupils on Shin's eyes suddenly contracted when he saw the damage dealt by the explosion. "What the F*ck!? And that damage is reduced to 10% of the total! If that was the case, then I'm really is dead if I was directly hit by that spell."
After that explosion, all of the skills in Shin's action return back to being available. Then he immediately sprung in action when he regain his freedom.
The [Yamato] suddenly become ablaze with a purple flame. Then Shin swing it forward, sending a powerful sword wave that is coming straight towards the 'Shadow Elder Shaman' and devouring all the ghost soldiers on its path.
'Slayer Skill: Eclipse Slash'
Whoosh!
Tegrin immediately disregard the idea of casting another spell. It immediately raise its staff to blink away from its current position, and reappeared ten meters to its right.
Shin on the other hand immediately use the 'Wolf King's Hunt' at the farthest ghost soldier 10-meters away from him and nearest at Tegrin's current position.
After that, Shin swiftly turn his body around as he thrust the [Yamato] forward while rushing towards the 'Shadow Elder Shaman's' direction.
'Extra Skill: Sword Rush'
Swoosh!
Tegrin use another blink to put more distance away from Shin who is coming towards it. The 'Shadow Elder Shaman' appear ten meters away from Shin's front. But Shin use another skill through a Combat Technique.
'Basic Combat Technique: Second Drive'
During the dash of the 'Sword Rush' skill, a huge boar spirit suddenly enfolded Shin's body before he started accelerating forward and dragging all the monsters that is blocking his path.
Dururug!
'Equipment Skill: Boar's Assault'
Tegrin summon a wall made of black stone blocking Shin's path and preventing him from going onward.
Shin forcefully cancel the Skill before leaping upward. Then he do a four consecutive kicks in the air, taking him into a higher altitude.
'Legacy Skill: Mondi's Jump'
Pa! Pa! Pa! Pa!
At the third midair jump, Shin already reached the top of the black stone wall, then he used the fourth jump to do a superman flip in the air as he leap over the wall.

And when he is on the other side, Shin's body suddenly become heavy as he descend towards the ground with an unstoppable force.
'Equipment Skill: Barbaric Decent'
Whoosh!
The 'Shadow Elder Shaman' hop backwards since its 'Blink' Skills are currently in cooldown, unfortunately it didn't managed to successfully get away from the 3-meter radius impact of the incoming Skill.

Because of the powerful impact of the skill, all the monsters inside the area of effect are either sent flying in the air or smashed on the ground. And 'Tegrin' the 'Shadow Elder Shaman' belong to the former because it is in the outer part of the radius when Shin descended.
Shin swiftly do a military roll on the ground after his descent. Then he immediately use the momentum of the roll of leap towards 'Tegrin' while throwing a powerful downwards slash at the later.
'Extra Skill: Falling Lightblade'
Swoosh!

Bang!
The 'Shadow Elder Shaman' was smash on the ground when it is hit by that slash. When Shin's feet landed on the ground, he immediately twist his body to the right while swinging the sheath on his left hand on the same direction and in a reversehand grip manner.
During the process, the sheath suddenly transformed into a semitransparent longsword, before it become set ablaze.
'Legacy Skill: Mondi's Style: Meteor Form'
'Slayer Skill: Solar Cut'

Then Shin use the momentum of that twist to spin his body around before throwing a powerful roundhouse kick at the 'Shadow Elder Shaman'.
'Equipment Skill: Paralysis Bite'
Pak!
-5 672(Stunned)
Even though the 'Shadow Elder Shaman' have a slightly bigger size, Shin is still able to stun it with the that kick because it is a magic related class which have a very low defense and resistance.
Shin flick his left wrist to change his handgrip on the [Snowstorm Edge]. Then he swiftly brandish both of his swords, creating bunch of grid-like lines surrounding Shin as they intervene with each other.
'Equipment Skill: Snowstorm Assault'
Suddenly, those grid-like line coincide with each other, as Shin swing the [Snowstorm Edge] and the [Yamato] at the 'Shadow Elder Shaman'.
This is one of the things that Shin had learned in Freedom Mode. Since he can control the execution of his skill more freely in this mode, he can guide the skill trajectory to his desired location.

All of the slashes that should be random were landed at Tegrin's body due to Shin's perfect control. And because of the massive damage that it got, the 'Shadow Elder Shaman' entered a berserk state and enter the third phase.
BOOM!!!
It send another powerful shockwave, sending everything around it flying away from it. But Shin already anticipated that, his body turned illusionary as he stay still in his current position while becoming unaffected by the shockwave.

But there are some things that Shin didn't expect to happen. Tegrin put the staff on its front, creating a spherical barrier around it. Then all the ghost soldiers suddenly rush towards the 'Shadow Elder Shaman', taking Shin a little off guard.
Shin suddenly got a bad feeling about what's happening. His instincts are telling him that he need prevent these ghost soldiers from getting near the 'Shadow Elder Shaman'.
Then Shin and his gang immediately sprung in action and started slaughtering the ghost soldiers that are rushing towards Tegrin. Unfortunately, they are still a little too late because there are still few ghost soldiers that managed to broke pass them.
And when those ghost soldiers arrived at Tegrin, they suddenly merged with the barrier. And when they do so, Shin saw the HP of the 'Shadow Elder Shaman' started to recover at the visible rate, and it didn't take long for it to recover half of the total damage that Shin have dealt.
"F*ck! I knew it that this boss is not as simple as it seems, but it looks like this is going to become a little more troublesome." cursed Shin as he started picking up the pace at slaughtering the ghost soldiers.
When Tegrin removed the barrier, its HP is return back to 95% of its total HP.
Shin release a helpless sigh before saying. "OK, what's done is done. Let us just start the second round. This time I'm not going to get a little bit careless."

World Gaming Org. Headquarters.
Carlos went to visit a office of one of the development teams of the Organization. He ignore all the other development personnels, and went straight to the head office.
He directly open the door without knocking on it. After entering the room, he directly went to the middle-aged guy sitting in front of a virtual screen, and throw a file of papers on the table.
The middle-aged man take a quick glance a Carlos before say. "I know that we are quite close, Carlos. But that is not an excuse for you to enter my room without notice."
"Don't act that you don't know why I'm here Troy." said Carlos as he sat at the sofa beside the middle-aged man.
"What are you talking about Carlos?" said Troy innocently.
Carlos clicked his tounge when he saw Troy's reaction. "Tsk, stop acting innocent, Troy. I know that you know what am I talking about."
Troy put both of his hands at the back of his head while crossing his legs on top of the table. "I told you that I don't know what you are talking about, so stop bothering me, I still have a lot of things that I need to do."
"Tsk, come on Troy. You made a mess yet you are going to let me clean it up?" said Carlos in an irritated tone.
Troy smirk at Carlos and said. "Do you have an evidence? Don't accuse me if you don't have."
Carlos point at the file of papers that he thrown earlier and said. "Those are the evidence. You are the one that designed that {Ruler's Equipment Set}, and you lead a player to take the special edition of that set. Now tell me, why did you do that?"
"Ah-Ah~♪, That is a false claim. You are right about me being the designer of the set, but I didn't lead him to take the perfect set. That player is the one that managed to discover the way how to complete the entire set." said Troy while waving his hand index finger.
"Then how can you explain the Cheat Skill that is clipped on one of the equipment skills when the entire set is upgraded into a Gold rank equipment set?" asked Carlos with a fierce glare.
"Hey, Hey~♪. I'm out on that issue. 'AI Chronos' is that one that made that Skill and not me." said Troy in an innocent manner.
"F*CK! Don't give me those 'System Excuses'! If the System is the one that let that happen, then why are the other {Ruler's Equipment Sets} didn't get a Cheat Skill like that!?" said Carlos frustratedly.
"Maybe his set is a special because it is a seven piece equipment set?" said Troy still acting innocent.
Carlos reach his limit and said. "I don't have enough time to play this game, Troy. The equipment set of that specific player is programmed that way! If the set is upgraded into Gold Rank, then one of the skills of the equipment set with become a Cheat Skill."
Carlos pause for a moment to calm himself down before continuing. "I'm not here to sue you for what you have done, since I'm already involved in this mess when I cleaned up the trouble that that player have done. I just want to hear why did you do that."
Troy raise both of his hands, indicating that he admitting defeat. "Alright, Alright ~♪. You win. I did that to help that kid a little. Just a little, OK?"
The Carlos raise one of his brows after hearing that. "Your not answering my question properly."
Troy taught for a moment before replying. "Hmm... Let's just say that I'm curious about his future prospects, especially when he finally caught up with the leading players of the game. That is way I'm helping him to reach them a little faster."
Carlos didn't look being contented at that reply and asked. "Do you honestly think that I'm going to believe that?"
"Hmm... You can also say that I'm one of his fans." added Troy when he saw the expression on Carlos' face.
The corner of Carlos' mouth suddenly twitch after hearing that.

According to prophecy, the ninth-born child of Lord Orellen will have the sort of power that changes the world. But in a land ruled by mage families, no one welcomes the possibility of a dangerous new player. Fearful even of their allies, the Orellens come up with an extraordinary and deadly scheme to protect themselves. If the most powerful sorcerers in the world wish to kill the ninth-born, they will have to find him or her first. And that's not going to be easy when the Orellens have called upon dark magic to create hundreds of heirs. The boys and girls are given new bodies, new names, and even new magical talents before they are scattered across the continent. Only one among them is the real ninth, but all of them will have to grow up in a world where they are fugitives. Kalen, once fated to die, is now an Orellen heir in hiding. And he is determined to survive, even if he has to master his strange new powers to do it. The Last Orellen is a long, character-focused progression fantasy set in a vast universe about a boy's journey to become a powerful mage. Reviews are deeply appreciated. Please do not repost my work elsewhere without my written permission. What type of reader is this book for? You might enjoy The Last Orellen if you like... Clever and resourceful protagonists. Big fantasy worlds. Multiple cultures, lots of characters, many different types of magic--this story is expansive rather than closely focused on a narrow storyline. Progression fantasy that takes its time. Our main character will be progressing through magical ranks, but this is going to be a lengthy story. If you're more about the journey than the destination, this might be the book for you. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

Slave 53: The Phoenix
Azgarth is a violent Warlord from a planet where everyone feared him, a man that never lost a battle whether it be from his enemies surrendering or dying. After entering a wormhole, this once infamous man had his memory completely wiped. He was enslaved under the name 53. The great comet arrived one day and gave 53 an extremely rare animal aspect, the Phoenix. Having a rare animal aspect puts people on the fast track to power in this world. Will 53 show the same brutality as his former self? Author: So there will probably be a lot of changes when I start hashing out the whole classes and what not. I'm not planning on this to have statuses or anything like that, but when people 'lvl up' is probably going to be something like ascending 1, 2, 3, etc. With each ascension they are many times stronger, for example, someone who hasn't ascend at all would be at 0, but someone with a 1 would be about 5x stronger than someone who is 0 and so on. It would take a long time to reach each one. With the red colored marks which represents fire, I have a couple ideas with what I want to do, in a way a battle royale, as this continent they are on isn't very large, but all four elements are on it (or more, I might add light, dark, and some others) but all the humans have red, while a different alien race has blue (water), brown (earth), and grey (Air). The color of the mark they have influences how they feel about each other, a example of that would be if a red saw a brown, then they would naturally feel a disgust about each other, and if they killed someone from a different color they would gain way more life essence which is needed to ascend than they would killing someone from their same color. The last thing, I'm not too sure about the main character yet, as I like the whole idea of a memory wipe, I almost think it'd be more entertaining to have the guy slowly regain all his memory, then just becoming his normal self again. If that's the case I'll have to change the title of book. The original idea was this guy would keep the name 53, and his prior self named Azgarth is sharing his body, as in he can talk to him and give him advice on things since he doesn't want him to die since he is sorta like a split personality sharing the same body. Looking at it now, idk if I want this guy to be named 53 forever. Warning: A lot of dark content in the book, especially in the flashbacks.
